“We came on Valentine's Day at brunch instead of dinner to avoid the crush. We enjoyed a couple of the more uncommon things on the menu. Would have enjoyed something with fresh fruit or just generally more variety overall. Service was good, music was fun, nice to have parking now. Thanks for being a bright spot in Hollywood!“

“This restaurant has a cozy inside atmosphere. The dining area is lovely with an open concept kitchen. The food was a robust blend of flavors from smokey and fire roasted, to salty and light. I recommend the coal roasted carrots, the ricotta added a sweeter contrast to the smokey roasted flavor. The service at this establishment was quick and constant. The staff is laid back and knowledgeable.“

“If you're in northeast Portland this is one of the most epic seafood restaurants you can try in the Portland area I've been there a couple of times and have always just tried the specials as well as the creme brulee I have to say one of my favorite dining experiences in all of Portland stop in if you can it's worth it“

“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.“

“This is a hidden gem. Service was great. Enthusiastic and welcoming. Drinks were served swiftly and competently. Menu is conservative but still fun to explore. My club and French fries were satisfying. Was thrilled to see actual chicken meat in my sandwich and not sliced deli meat. Lots of real avocado, bacon and grilled thickly sliced sour dough made it a meal. Beet salad to start was dressed a bit heavily but delicious nonetheless.
This is a small space with only me and my 4 comrades and another party about the same size sat directly next to us. Why?
Would be nervous to see this place filled as I'd worry about hearing conversation.
My friends told me that both servings of garlic fries weren't hot. And my other friend did not get his requested avocado on his burger. Also, we were celebrating a birthday and don't think they serve dessert as none was offered.
Also, I assume you can park in motel lot for dining. If so, that's a bonus in NW!“

“Had family in town with their kiddos and we wanted to do a night out. OP was the perfect choice. The staff was great getting a spot set up that could handle a wheelchair, stroller and energetic 3yr old.

They have a great cocktail and wine menu, but as the designated driver I stuck to the N/A drinks. Luckily they have one of my top 3 N/A cocktails- red ferrari (think negroni).

The food was fantastic. I highly recommend starting with a meat and/or cheese plate (we did both) then do a Round 2 of small plates. For us it was a few salads. All were good but I especially liked the chicories salad with Caesar-like dressing. Next we grabbed entrees. It was hard to narrow down to one option so I ended up doing a split plate situation and shared the gnocchi and the chicken plate. The gnocchi was pillowy with a perfect amount of mushrooms and carmelized onions. The chicken thigh had crispy skin and the potatoes were smooth and buttery which paired nicely with the chard.
Sadly, there was no space for dessert so I'm just dreaming of the Basque cheesecake, but guess that just means a return trip is needed.“

“This was our first time really trying German food, and it absolutely hit! The food was amazing and the service was just as great. Everything is made from scratch, and the owner told us he runs the place solo, which made it even more impressive. You can really taste the care and effort that goes into the food. Such a great experience overall—we’ll definitely be coming back.“

“This is a great first date place. The food presentation was outstanding. However, we felt it was a little blan. They use RC soda products here, which are flat at the bar but have carbonation if gotten from the back. Amazing happy hour!

“One of my favorite bars in Portland. Perfect date spot. Beautiful interior and back patio. Great lighting. Good cocktails, I love that they have mini mixed shots for like $7.

For how fresh and delicious most of their menu items are, I was surprised at the burger quality - I’m almost certain it was a frozen patty, which seems so unlike this spot. I could be wrong, it just didn’t taste like what the price point makes it seem you’re getting. That said, everything else I’ve eaten here is fantastic.“

Pretty busy little place for a Monday night. Lots of locals you could tell were there after work decompressing chatting visiting. Definitely had a real old Portland vibe that I remember from before the pandemic. Caught me off guard. I had low expectations but it was a great little spot.“

“Amazing. If you are considering going- just go. Adorable date night spot. Each dish is packed with flavor. I like that they are only open for dinner so they focus on those few dishes they offer. Ambiance was great low lighting- the best wallpaper in the bathrooms. They have a lot of wine offerings but I skipped on that. They have a bar and several tables. Their cocktails and mocktails were excellent. The cheesecake was divine. Too stuffed so I got it to go and it was just incredible. I will be back!“

Outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor fireplace and heaters for the cold.

The patios were spacious and pretty and good for conversation, but inside was about as loud as loud gets on a Saturday, which I guess is kind of expected. They printed bad reviews on the last page of their menu which I thought was pretty funny, and a lot of them mentioned that the bartender was rude which proved to be true, he had a pretty bad attitude. Service was fine in general though and food came out fast“

“I had a memorable dinner at Higgins Restaurant. I ordered their Oregon Mushroom Set Menu, and each dish reflected their respect for local ingredients. The wild mushroom bisque was particularly delicious, with a smooth texture and rich aroma. The waiter was very professional and attentive, explaining the background of each dish. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or family.“

“I have been meaning to review Radio Room for a while now. My husband and I have lived in Portland for just over a year and we have eaten here a handful of times. We love this place and drive from the west hills to eat here. The food, atmosphere and service is fantastic - the staff is real and down to earth. We are huge music lovers so we really love the decor. The breakfast biscuit with honey butter is the best damn biscuit in town. Avocado toast is also phenomenal and really well priced. Dinner menu is just as good and I love the yogi bowl. We've eaten inside and outside in their upstairs area and downstairs area with a nice fire pit. It's dog friendly on the patio and our pup enjoyed her time there too! We have brought everyone that visits us here and always recommend this restaurant to folks too. Ya'll are absolutely killing it and we're stoked to have a great go-to spot to eat at that we know will always be great.“

“We came here after driving by several times and decided to try it out. What we loved was that this place was initially a home. We loved the antiques and quirky items sitting on the wall shelves which reminded us of ‘the good ole days’.
