“Food and drinks were delicious, with unique flavors and very well presented. Our sever recommended 6 different items to share. The Madeline's, Ratiatori, Taco Dorados and 3 cup chicken were our favorites and I would recommend to anyone who loves great food. Service was attentive but not overly intrusive. Will be back soon.“

“This location was discovered through Resy and offered a remarkable experience right from the start. The customer service was impressive, and the food was particularly noteworthy for its excellent flavor. Additionally, the ambiance created a pleasant atmosphere, and our server (George) provided outstanding service throughout the visit.“

“I think a couple weeks to the menu would be needed. We noticed the same garnish with caviar on both hot and cold dishes. The caviar on the hot pork chop wasn't very pleasing. The pork chop definitely needed a pineapple salsa or sauce with it to cut through the fattiness of the chop and grits.“

“Decided to go here because of our Chase Sapphire and now we would go back without the additional cash back. The food was so good and everything blended together so well. The duck for 2 dish was phenomenal and even though we were full we could have kept eating. Definitely recommend this place.“

I first discovered this place after having visited Germany and looking for good schnitzel here at home. The hours are a lil weird with our schedule, but we finally made it! This place is as close as I've found to what we enjoyed over seas.

We got all 4 of the lunch schnitzels. They're half orders and a lil smaller. So, it was perfect for the three of us. The dill pickle soup is excellent and the house-made Radler... Wow! Everyone over here wants to add juice to their radlers, but in Germany they add Sprite and that's really tough to find over here for some reason... Anyway, Otto and Anita do it right.

The atmosphere was cute and homey. There was plenty of seating, but maybe not plenty of parking. We got a lil creative.

We were too full for dessert, but it looks delicious. We'll definitely be back.“

“Consistently delicious food and friendly, professional service in a cozy atmosphere. We’ve enjoyed Cabezon for the past decade and it never disappoints. Tonight, as always, fresh ingredients: perfectly crisp romaine in the Caesar salad with just the right amount of zesty dressing. Scrumptious fries on top of plump mussels in a lightly smoky broth. Beans and chorizo elevate that dish to a meal. The Cioppino is the go-to I look forward to. At a time when restaurants are following food trends and throwing anything out there, hoping it will stick, this tortoise vs the hare restaurant wins every time!“

“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.“

“One of my favorite bars in Portland. Perfect date spot. Beautiful interior and back patio. Great lighting. Good cocktails, I love that they have mini mixed shots for like $7.

For how fresh and delicious most of their menu items are, I was surprised at the burger quality - I’m almost certain it was a frozen patty, which seems so unlike this spot. I could be wrong, it just didn’t taste like what the price point makes it seem you’re getting. That said, everything else I’ve eaten here is fantastic.“

“Excellent food. Came for a late lunch that wouldn't ruin our dinner and got the ham and butter baguette and the sardines plate. Yummmmm. Fall cocktail was also delicious. They add 20% gratuity (and highlight it for you on the ticket), but do be aware of that when tipping. Have also been for brunch which was awesome.“

“This is a great first date place. The food presentation was outstanding. However, we felt it was a little blan. They use RC soda products here, which are flat at the bar but have carbonation if gotten from the back. Amazing happy hour!

“The EastBurn has one of the coziest vibes I've experienced yet, paired with friendly, attentive staff and fantastic food. Coffee is hot and fresh and their hash dishes are the perfect jumpstart to one's day.

I got the Hash Brisket with the Side Bacon. The generous portions were steaming fresh, seasoned wonderfully, and felt like a good value for the price. I'll certainly be coming back to try out other selections off the menu and soaking in the hipster (affectionate) vibes.“

But to reduce a dinner at Astera to only this would not do it justice. “I had a memorable dinner at Higgins Restaurant. I ordered their Oregon Mushroom Set Menu, and each dish reflected their respect for local ingredients. The wild mushroom bisque was particularly delicious, with a smooth texture and rich aroma. The waiter was very professional and attentive, explaining the background of each dish. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or family.“

Got the Fresh Prince, which doesn’t come with cheese and I debated adding it, but i didn’t and I didn’t miss it! The flavors are so well balanced and delicious, the sour dough was just awesome. Everything together was phenomenal, and I immediately wanted more.“

“Wow! Hands down the best Portland dining experience I've had in at least three years. The standout from our meal was the ahi tuna cannoli, such an inventive and flavorful dish. I have to thank our fantastic server for suggesting we order the cannoli. Its been three days since our evening at Street Disco and I can't stop thinking about their food. Also loved their squash cavatelli and chicken nuggies. Will be coming back soon.“

“Tried the Rum Club on a whim while staying down the street and can't wait to go back! The happy hour punch was a steal at $5 and the pineapple fried rice was a huge portion for 2 of us to share. We also tried both the Burning Son & Doors and Corners cocktails, both were delicious. Service was great, friendly and attentive.“

“Great little brewery. Repurposed house built into a restaurant. Cozy vibes. If you like sours there's tons of selection. Didn't get to try the pizza, but it looks homemade and hearty. Smelt amazing.

Outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor fireplace and heaters for the cold.

“My goodness, this place is amazing. Had a coworker bring me there for lunch, and I haven't eaten this good in a LONG time. Super high quality food at great prices, and a nice atmosphere to boot. It's Portland, so YMMV, but if you can manage a sunny day and sit on the patio by the river while eating the juiciest, crispy-skinnest, most flavorful brick chicken you'll ever have, you won't regret it. I have every intention of visiting again and again, and trying everything on the menu. I'd give six stars if I could, it's just. that. good.“

“Go here and get the best (huge) wedge salad of your life. With the fried chicken add-on. So good! Staff are super friendly, efficient, and the drinks are unique. Hubby also enjoyed his burger and fries a lot. Not much indoor seating, but lots of outdoor fires and spots to hang out with a beverage and our time eating dinner up at the bar was also very enjoyable.“

“This is a hidden gem. Service was great. Enthusiastic and welcoming. Drinks were served swiftly and competently. Menu is conservative but still fun to explore. My club and French fries were satisfying. Was thrilled to see actual chicken meat in my sandwich and not sliced deli meat. Lots of real avocado, bacon and grilled thickly sliced sour dough made it a meal. Beet salad to start was dressed a bit heavily but delicious nonetheless.
This is a small space with only me and my 4 comrades and another party about the same size sat directly next to us. Why?
Would be nervous to see this place filled as I'd worry about hearing conversation.
My friends told me that both servings of garlic fries weren't hot. And my other friend did not get his requested avocado on his burger. Also, we were celebrating a birthday and don't think they serve dessert as none was offered.
Also, I assume you can park in motel lot for dining. If so, that's a bonus in NW!“

“My son stopped at Bastions this past June 2025 and purchased 2 good sizes of your coffee cake. It was exceptional and so moist. We couldn't put our forks down! We're the ones who purchased a pecan pie from bastions last Christmas and a pumpkin pie last Thanksgiving. Both outstanding! Everything we've tried is excellent including the donuts. “Sat outside comfortably on the covered porch in November, I had the shrimp and grits and it was very good. Others in my party also were pleased with their dishes including Mac and cheese and burger.
Their kids portions were generous as well.“

“I love Dream House, but am begging… Can you bring back your kale Caesar salad? It was no joke, my favorite meal in the entire city. I dream about this salad. I tell everyone about this salad.
