“Went here last night for dinner and it’s hands down now our favorite dumpling restaurant ? the food was AMAZING, we definitely ordered with our stomachs. I will say the pork and cabbage wontons, as well as the crab and pork I think, were our least favorite. The crab one was a bit too fishy. Other than that everything was 10/10. The chili wontons, wonton soup, pork & chive, green beans, cucumber salad are sooo yummy. I’ll definitely go out of my way and drive over an hour to come back here again. The service was fast, and our waiter was super friendly and even helped us pack all our leftovers.“

“I got the yuzu miso ramen and my wife got the lime shio ramen. We also got chicken karaage with lemon sriracha aioli. Everything was fantastic. Such a good balance of flavors and just absolutely amazing. The workers were extremely friendly as well. I am 100% coming back here!“

We ordered pho and egg rolls—both were good, though the meat in the pho was a bit on the dry side, and the egg rolls were slightly overcooked. The broth had good flavor, and the service was friendly, making for a pleasant experience. They have limited parking on the back of the restaurant.“

“This place took over what used to be Pot & Spicy. The interior is pretty much the same - nice and simple. The food offerings was a bit similar to before. We ordered a few skewers and a bowl of Beef Golden Soup to share. The server was friendly and quick to get our order in. The bacon needle mushroom and beef skewers were tasty, as well as the chicken heart skewers. The popcorn chicken could have used a better batter, in my opinion. It was more of a panko coat to it and needed more spice to it. The Beef Golden Soup was flavorful, and I enjoyed it.“

“We loved the atmosphere of this place! The food was also one of the best that I’ve had in a long time! Definitely recommend the Chinese Sashimi, Kuay Teow Kua Gai (if you like spicy, this is great!!), and the spicy chicken cashew (the chicken was so soft and tasty!!!). Not only Nikki, our server was very knowledgeable. Every person that came to our table to drop off a plate, would go over what it contained and their own suggestions on how to eat it. 100% worth it!“

“These are the best dumplings that I have had yet in Portland! I was nervous about parking and found a spot immediately. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. “Delicious handmade noodles from a food truck? Yes, please! The flavors are fantastic and the noodles are soooo good. Just make sure you ask about spiciness if that is an issue for you because when they make something spicy, they mean it! I absolutely recommend the chao mian in mild and the pork dumplings.“

“Fried chicken rice bowl contains chicken, vegetables, cucumbers, kimchi, etc., as well as rice. It is much bigger than the picture, so it is enough to fill you up. It tastes even better when you add the spicy sauce on the table. The menu does not include 3% CAT, and the actual price is calculated with it.“

“Best chow fun in town. Can't get fresher noodles anywhere because they supply most of the Chinese restaurants and stores in town with their noodles. Their fried rice is really good, too. They also make their own tofu, both fresh and fried. Their rice noodle rolls are good, too. just have to get their early in the day because they sell out fast. The owners are some of the nicest people and work extremely hard. Love giving them my business.“

“Came back after eating here a few weeks ago because their jian bing (savory filled crepe roll) was so good. It comes vegetarian by default and it's super affordable, lot of food, and packed with flavor and texture.

Also tried their wonton noodles (non-veg) which were delicious and flavorful and their vegetarian / vegan dumplings were great too, however a tad too sweet for our tastes. Their pork dumplings, which is one of their staples, are better.

Regardless of dumpling flavor, the quality of how the dumplings are prepared are superior since the crease on the top is thin enough to be enjoyable and the skin is just right. They are as good as eating dumplings from San Gabriel (LA).

Everything is affordable here and high quality. It definitely feels like a local vibe here since you get your own free hot tea from the front (I love their tea) and order from qr codes on the table. They also play authentic Chinese music too on the tv, not just play bland American sports.

I only wish they had more sauces like red vinegar (for wonton) and more options for my vegetarians friends. Otherwise, still very delicious and will be back to try more dishes“

“First visit today. Throwback pricing, truly. I don't know how it works but they are charging what I would have expected to pay ten years ago. It was a great value. No, it isn't pretty outside. That does not matter. I can't believe somebody left a bad review based on that, while never having eaten here. It was plenty comfortable and the service was fast and friendly enough. “Always a great experience, this was our first time at the pioneer square location but it did not disappoint! The XLB’s are the staple ofcourse, but the pork chop fried rice and spicy wontons are delightful as well. Our kids love it, and the staff was extremely patient and kind.

To finish off the night we had the chocolate dumplings which are our absolute favorite! But we got the salted whip cream on our waiters recommendation and we will never order them without it again. 10/10!

Made for a great bday dinner for my wife.

And honestly, I can see why it was so busy. The pho was excellent—simple ingredients but packed with rich flavor. “This is a 9-people group dinner for us! We ordered around 9 dishes!! They offer both authentic Sichuan spicy food and American Chinese food like sweet and sour fish! The most amazing fish is the salty egg yolk with the shrimp!! Definitely try that!!

Maybe you don’t want to order the sweet and sour fish if you want to try the AUTHENTIC Chinese food???!!! I would really skip all sweet and sour options in the dish for Chinese restaurants in the USA, not because that those dishes do not exist in China, but that dishes are generally adapted to the local flavors so it does not taste right for me ?!!

Overall the service is really nice, and the food delivery speed is really fast! We end up splitting the check to 9 cards and they accept it!

“The place is in cartlandia. The entrance can be missed if not familiar with the area. Multiple outdoor seating are available. There is also indoor seating option. You’ll have to get the code from the vendor whom you bought your food. The place can get crowded during busy hours.The ramen miso broth was good. The pork content was a LOT as compared to other places that I have been to. Maybe the vendor just felt being generous when ordered.Be mindful of the birds when you sit outside. They appear to be comfortable with and tend to get too close to the food.“

“First time visit last night with six of us and they are very nicely opened up the toast restaurant and let us sit in there and we had such a nice evening and the waiter was so friendly and wonderful and really helped us out to get acquainted with the offerings we tried the vegetarian potstickers and also the various vegetarian tacos which were really good. Later we each had a vegetarian Ramen and every single one was delicious and I especially liked the one with the tofu and the hard-boiled egg and the spinach. They brought a small container of warm sake for me which I really liked with a tiny cup I got to choose. OverallI gave it a big 10+ and I would definitely eat there again and probably will go back pretty soon. The main thing is to try to find a time when the parking is not completely full in the area be prepared to park a ways away and walk which is good for us so it really wasn’t a problem.“

“This place is so huge and beautiful inside! Set right along the river with floor to ceiling windows, it creates an upscale dining experience or a date night. The food is served family sharing style and comes out as it’s prepared. Everything is delightful and soo flavorful. I’ve been here probably 5 times and each time has been the same for service. Younger staff, that seemed shy and quiet. Not sure agent to serve or seat us, but always polite though. Just absolutely silent, or barely spoke. But that doesn’t ruin the experience at all. I love the atmosphere of the dining experience and will gladly return!

Def be careful of the spicy foods if you can't handle much spice. I can't but the flavor was so good I pushed through it.
Highly under hyped spot imo

As others have said service was a bit slow and they missed a few things we reminded them of but we also got free things too. So, to me....worth it. And they were very kind to us.

I wish the bathrooms were gender neutral though.

“I've already been here three times and I'm struggling to restrain myself from making it a more frequent occurrence. The food here is delicious! I love the noodles. So far, I've gotten the egg rolls, the steamed dumplings, hand pulled noodle soup, pad see ew, and the special hand pulled noodle. I would recommend all of these items.

I've gone for dine in and take out. I think it's worth noting that the take out options are slightly more limited (makes sense) than the dining in options and that I would order the food when you actually want it instead of trying to schedule a later order. I think it might be tough for them to accommodate that with the fresh noodles.

Dining in - the space is very nice but still casual and they had a good selection of drinks. There's a good amount of seating space.
