“Unique ice cream flavors. We were offered the chance to taste all of them. Settled on a malted cookie dough. Pretty tasty. Long line moved fast. Great system. Cool atmosphere. Very friendly associates. Described flavors in detail and asked about our vacation. Would go back.“

“Have been wanting to try this place for a few years and finally got the chance last weekend. I was feeling a little hesitant about the long line but it moved very quickly and we didn't have to wait long. I ordered the salted malted chocolate chip cookie dough and got a scoop of vegan cookies and cream for my wife. It was DELICIOUS. My wife went in a second time to get a pint for me so we could take it home. Unfortunately it melted because our hotel rooms freezer malfunctioned 😬 will definitely be back for more ice cream when I'm over in this area again.

Amazing and delicious ube shave ice with ube foam and nicely toasted coconut.
The toasted coconut made the flavor meld perfectly.
The shop is located in a covered walkway space with many other shops (ramen on one end). Across the street from Powell's.
The woman making the shave ice was also able to take orders at the doorway/ window if you didn't want to place the order online.
The online shop ordering system was quite easy, though I don't remember if there was an option to leave a tip. There is a physical tip box though.
Other folks dropping by also agreed the shave ice is oh-so-delicious.
Definitely will be back very soon.“

“Best soft serve ice cream I've ever had and now I'm finding out that it's dairy free? Mind blown! I had to stay in the car with our pup so hubby brought it out. The waffle cone was also the best. So fresh and delicious. I normally don't care for waffle cones but I ate the whole darn thing. We want to come back to do their dinner on Saturday night.“

“The ice cream sandwiches that are gluten-free are the best we've ever had and we've tried all of them! Every single one that we get here is amazing, truly, really incredible cookie and ice cream is incredible or rather frozen yogurt… However, the only thing that we don't like about this place is that sometimes you can't try the yogurt that is in the ice cream cookies because they don't have any samples. Also the main thing we don't like about this place is that the toppings are $.95 each and that makes it so we just don't get them which is kind of a bummer for the kids but overall thumbs up.“
“Awesome ice cream shop! They have some more traditional sweet, but unique ice cream flavors as well as more savory style. They are generous with their samples, which is great since savory ice cream flavors aren’t common so you can be sure you’ll like what you get before you order it. We sampled a couple flavors, then decided on a flight of salted, malted chocolate chip cookie dough, vegan hazelnut cookies & cream, strawberry honey basaltic with black pepper, and maple koginut squash with pomegranate. They also give you 1 waffle cone with the flight, which was really cool! I loved the sweet flavors, while my girlfriend loved the savory flavors. I would highly recommend stopping in and tasting some out of the box ice cream flavors!“

“I can't speak highly enough about Uri & the folks over at Dairy Hill Ice Cream. They went above and beyond to help coordinate ice cream for our wedding reception! We frequent the Hawthorne location and have always enjoyed the awesome selection they have every day, but the ability to arrange these treats so seamlessly for a large event like this just solidifies them as the best ice cream parlor in PDX! We really appreciate local businesses and their owners taking the time and effort to be personal and involved with our awesome community. Uri nailed it. Thanks Dairy Hill!!!“

“We came in to order an ice cream cake with dietary restrictions. It was a busy Friday night. The staff never once made me feel rushed or hurried with my decision making. She even confirmed with the other gal to make sure all dietary needs were met. In my opinion they went above and beyond to make it work. We can’t wait to try our cake. We will also be returning for ice cream nights since they had options for all. Edit: We tried our cake! It was so good. Most of the family didn’t even know it was dairy free. I am so grateful for your help and creativity. Thank you!“

“As someone who isn’t classically a huge match fan I wasn’t sure what to expect from this place. We came in on a Thursday evening and luckily it was not super busy but I’m told it can fill in quickly and often has a line.
I wound up going for their seasonal cone flavor which was peach and was quite refreshing and tasty. They have a wide assortment of menu options and types of match dessert to choose from. They use a buzzer system and have seating in the back to accommodate maybe 6-8 groups.
The atmosphere is well lit and clean. Definitely appears to attract a bit of a younger crowd.“

“I had a event I was organizing and reached out to Ice Cream Express WA. I rented one of their carts. I can not say enough about my experience. They were fast on communication, they offer a wide variety of ice cream. The cart is super cute and better then I expected. They dropped off on time and picked it up after the event. Everyone loved the ice cream and thought the cart was fabulous. All day I was asked where I got it. Thank you so much Ice Cream Express. I will reach out again for further events.“

“Cookies are always great, but have experienced a few times that employees in the shop don’t seem to appreciate visitors and would rather fulfill online orders rather than provide good customer service

“Matcha ice cream is so elite. It’s very strong and creamy. I am so so impressed! Highly recommend. Ube ice cream also on the same caliber. Ice cream is so so good (on the sweet side). $3.50 for a generous scoop is also unbeatable!
Hojicha is refreshing. The one with milk isn’t as good imo. I’d pass on the matcha latte.
Open until 10pm :D parking can get tough. Love all the cats inside!

“I accidentally had my order made at the wrong location. Both the Clackamas and Wilsonville store associates were very helpdul and patient while filling a new order and cancelling the other. The one negative is I lost my free bday cookie as I could not make it to the other location like I thought I could. I do understand company policy though.“

“Usually love this place. The only issue is they are frequently out of flavors. Went yesterday and was told to wait 30 for the flavor I wanted. Waited 30. Then they said it was going to be another 30 when I came back. We left with no cookies and went to menchie's Nextdoor instead. Also they are closed on Sundays which is a very popular day to get treats. That part stinks big time.“

Overall this experience was one of my favorite I have ever had in this industry and will make sure to recommend this location and Jon to friends and family.“

“Came in with my friend on the day that they give free ice cream today. Took a bunch of videos and photos. I hope you enjoy it. I do this every year. Definitely want to watch the videos now. Easy public transportation to get to. And a lot of these they’re going around that you can do.“
“We love going to this place when it was first new but as some folks have said here it started to go downhill. The couches were dirty and I only saw the lady that looked like she may be the owner of this place only a few times in the past few years.The drinks were great and delicious but the business started to get neglected. I noticed help-wanted signs and some of the employees didn’t seem happy.The business was also located in a quiet corner away from other businesses but a Happy Lemon was across the street- its only competitor.“

The staff is incredibly friendly, the space is clean, and every dish I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. But the real standout? Their bubble tea — it’s easily the best I’ve had. Creamy, perfectly balanced, and simply addictive. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Highly recommended!“
