“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)“

“This was the best ice cream I have EVER had. Came here a few nights ago with my siblings and needless to say we were blown out of the water with how incredible this place was. The service was top tier, prices were fair for the portion size, and the ice cream itself was AMAZING. I believe it’s a limited flavor but we all got the strawberry scooter flavor and I could not recommend it enough. We literally went two nights in a row to get it. Hands down my new place to go whenever I am in the area!“

“Grew up getting snow cones here with my family. Revisiting it after 20 years and its still as good as i remember from my childhood. They bring in the large blocks of ice and shave the ice on the spot, very old school and nostalgic. Worth a stop for a sweet treat if you are in the area!“

The moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Micah, the owner, who made us feel like family. It was as if he had known us for years! Micah’s hospitality was unmatched. He generously offered us free samples of their incredible chocolate, encouraging us to try as much as we liked. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly set the tone for our visit. As for the milkshakes, they were out of this world! I indulged in the Bananas Foster Milkshake, which was rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. My wife couldn’t get enough of her Cookie Brownie Fudge milkshake—it was the perfect blend of decadent flavors. Our kids loved their classic Vanilla Milkshakes, which were smooth and delicious. The attention to detail, quality of ingredients, and exceptional customer service made this visit unforgettable. We can’t wait to return and try more of their amazing offerings. “We stopped here after dinner while on vacation in Pittsburgh and loved it so much we went back a couple days later! Staff is super friendly, the store is super clean, portions are huge and the value is great. I can't recommend Pittsburgh Potholes enough, it's so tasty! The only downside of Scoops in Bloomfield is that there's limited indoor seating - it gets crowded easily so keep this in mind if you plan to dine in during peak times.“

“They are really great! The soft serve is good. The staff are friendly and seem happy to be there. They are always happy to put my cones in cups so I can get them home. I keep forgetting to put some plastic cups in my car to save them the expense. The prices are pretty good. 2 cones under 10 bucks. I always tip so it's a bit more for me. Just be careful what size you order! The small cones I get are VERY generously proportioned. And I love to be able to spend my money in my neighborhood. Everyone should support their local small businesses else tomorrow they may not be there. Thanks for reading and go get some ice cream! Lol!“

“I'm lactose intolerant. They really don't have a selection for it. They have a limited selection for it. But they made me a delicious type of mango sorbet topped with strawberries and nuts that was very good ! My boyfriend ordered an ice cream cone 1 scoop which turned out to be what looked like 3 scoops ! Portions are generous and prices are decent ! Recommended!“

“The ice cream was great, and the menu was fun. I'm new to the community, and I can see how this is a staple in this area.
However, I do find it disappointing that the staff treated me and my friends rudely for simply wanting ice cream at 9:20 at night. Friendly service goes a long way, but I won't let this tarnish my thoughts on this place, for now. We've all been there in similar jobs; slap a smile on your face and do better.“

“A splurge and more of a high-end ice cream experience, Jeni’s offers high quality ice cream with unique specialty flavors. You can sample as many flavors as you’d like, and they serve samples on metal spoons that they wash, which is a pretty unique and sustainable sample model for an ice cream shop! I was between multiple flavors after sampling (which speaks to how good the options are that I was so indecisive when picking two flavors), and the staff helped me narrow down my choices by making recommendations of flavor pairings. I had the brown butter almond brittle and salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks, while my husband had gooey butter cake and double dough. I found that due to the richness of the ice creams, a small serving was sufficient, but you pay a premium because of the quality.“

“Looks are deceiving on this one! Old fashioned hand scooped homemade ice cream or soft serve with many different toppings. You can also get the Italian ice with or without gelato which also comes in many flavors. Everything was delicious and perfectly made! 10 out of 10 on price and quality! Will definitely be coming back for more before they close for the season on October 5th“

“Millie’s is absolutely amazing. While working in the area. I had the pleasure of meeting Steven. I inquired where his business was and that I would need to come and try his ice cream. “I had Leonas ice cream sandwiches as the dessert for my outdoor spring wedding. My now husband and I both LOVE ice cream and when we decided that's what we wanted to have for our special day I knew Leonas was the choice. We got to pick from SO many of their delicious seasonal flavors - narrowing it down was the hardest part! They were SO detailed and thorough in helping me ensure the sandwiches were served appropriately. All of our guests RAVED about how perfect the ice cream was for the day and how delicious they were. It was a hilarious bonus that the pre-wrapped treats were much more portable than a slice of cake - MANY of them made it out onto the dance floor! Couldn't recommend them more as a DELICIOUS and super fun addition to any event.“
“This Bruster's is far better than any other ice cream shop in the area. It was "Every Given Sunday" but after Covid, they closed permanently. This place has excellent mango sorbet and Chocolate ice cream shakes and pint size. Friendly. Helpful and the ice cream tops every place I've been too. Cool Cones is awful and can't compare!“
