“It’s the best in DelCo. Always consistently outstanding customer service, fresh prepared masterpieces and the most impressive salads (tuna, chix, etc.) and deli meats around. I have been a loyal patron since 2010 and my family has never been disappointed. These hoagies are stacked and made to order. Sometimes, they’re a little backed up but it’s always worth the wait. Do what I do. Take a walk around the store and pick up a few of the real, imported Italian staples and they even sell Bassett’s pints now. They have Aversa, Liscio and other notable rolls and breads for sale and it’s always fresh.

They make their own sauce and sell that in quarts or pints; also their homemade meatballs, scallopine and soups. Everybody’s happy when it’s Pagano’s. I love those guys!

I no longer live in the Drexel Hill area, but I do make the trip to Pagano’s from no matter how far. And often.

That pasta fagiole is off the hook on a bitter cold day. And don’t forget the egg plant cutlets.“

The service was amazing throughout the meal, I wish I got the servers name as he was really an incredibly friendly young man who clearly knew the menu very well. The atmosphere is wonderful and the interior is just lovely. In terms of the food, I had the wild boar bolognese which was a special that night, and it was AMAZING!! Really, all the food was impeccable, from the focaccia to our mains. Super pleased and the next time I’m in town, I will most definitely be coming back!!“

“I used Johnny Paisano’s to cater a holiday party. I had an amazing experience from the very beginning. I spoke with Christine who helped me place the order, and helped me to decide the best options for my menu. One of my options was a prime rib, where I received a phone call from Johnny himself to help me figure out the best way to prepare it for the party. When it was time to retrieve the food on the day of the party, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Johnny once again came out and was talking with me about the food. I appreciate this aspect of a business, it makes you feel like you’re in a friendly environment, rather than a sterile kitchen. The food quality was amazing. Every platter was delicious, and every guest was happy with how the food turned out. The prime rib was the largest hit, not surprisingly. I couldn’t believe the value of everything as well. “Went to Adelina's five months ago the week they opened. It was a disappointing experience on multiple fronts and my review said as much. Last night was completely different and I thought it was important to say so. The service was attentive. The wine list was expanded and had more affordable options. But the star of the night was the food. Eggplant fritters were crispy outside and pillowy inside and came with a delicious complementary dipping sauce. A charcuterie board is not usually something that excites me. But the selections we tried were transportative. The pecorino tartufo with our Pinot noir were the perfect pair. The other meats and cheese we tried made every bite a party. Our entree selection was the lasagne, which we didn't realize was vegetarian. The dish completely won us over. Inventive and flavorful, the lasagne in not like something you've had before and is a must try! I'm so glad we came back and gave Adelina's another try. Cheers!“

“I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s always been fantastic. Tonight especially so. The setting is obviously unique but the food and service would deliver in any location.

From the second we got off the elevator we were friends. The host welcomed our kids and us (we normally don’t bring our kids to dinner) more naturally than those closest to us. We had a temporary diet restriction and the chef came out and talked us through it and tailored something specific to what we needed.
