“The Sweet Potato Chili is the absolute best! I've doubled the recipe seven (7) times now and my friends and I have enjoyed it monthly since December. Instead of the water, I use unsalted chicken stock and I've even added several other ingredients to the recipe such as a can of Rotel, a can of whole corn, a can of kidney beans, and a can of garbanzo beans. When serving, cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream on top are both an absolute must. I highly recommend if you like chili.”

The food preparation, the menu, the service and the ambiance at Le Resto could compete with the best of them. I suggest you give it a try -- you'll be very pleased. It's a shame that the residents of the town don't eat out on weeknights though. It was empty except for our table. All that delicious and interesting food needs hungry customers ! It would be a shame to possibly lose such a first-rate restaurant. Le Resto also provides something new and different from all the excellent Italian-based eating establishments the city is best known for.”

“KING OF SWEET SAUCE. I am working in Mahoning Town and have been on a pizza tour of New Castle. Pizza Man in my opinion has the best Homestyle pizza which is a pizza with only a sprinkle of parm and oregano. New castle is all about sweet sauce which now I love. I would say that Pizza Man is the “king of sauce”. It tastes the best and they give you lots of it. You have to eat their pizza with a napkin or even better a washcloth. Delicious. Also the service at Pizza Man was really good. A warm hometown feel. If you want speed metal and tasty grease go to Turcos. But if you want grammas kitchen and sauce red cheeks go to Pizza Man.”

“Cedars needs to step up a little. Waiting more than hour for food is ridiculous. Cooks are outside smoking while the dining room is full. I usually go Friday and Saturday. I watch people walk out waitress are frustrated. There is a girl that is there every Friday and Saturday trying to make everything run smoothly. She goes from the bar to the dining room to the kitchen trying to please the customers. The last two month have been crazy here. I don't know if I will be back. Sir, you are losing your in-house customers over the new system. That system won't make up for your lost customers. it's a shame you have a great business Mr. Pagley and you are destroying it.”

“Just wanted to give a special shout out to Mama Jane's Eatery in Greenville. My mom and I brought my son there today for his 4th birthday. Our wonderful waitress gave him a stuffed squirrel (now known as “Tom”) and the whole staff took the time to come out with a cookie and sing to him. This was very unexpected and special for our little guy, and for us. Thanks for an outing we won’t soon forget!”

Food was decent, prices reasonable, pool tables are really nice and fast, pool sticks provided aren't all beat up or bent to hell and back. Darts board is a blast. TV's all round for sports. Drinks are reasonable as well. Not the best at mixed drinks but that doesn't apply to me as I dont rly drink alot except a few beers. All and all I wld recommend and I myself will most def go back.”

“Had a very bad experience at this store thinking about posting experience on Facebook, My daughter and I visited the location above on the date and time shown on receipt above. I specially asked the cashier names Alex that I wanted my order made fresh I didn’t care how long it would take I just wanted all my food cooked hot and fresh. 1 minute after I placed my order they are calling my name. I spoke to the manager Betty and explained there is no way that this could be my order I wanted my food made fresh, she tries to tell me that it was made fresh which was insulting because I am very intelligent not to mention I used to manage Wendy’s in Cleveland Ohio before so I know it takes 10-12 minutes to cook something fresh. So after the replaced the order I asked the manager Betty if I could have a word with her when I finished my meal, upon completion I went to talk to the manager Betty to explain that only the chicken sandwich was hot and the burger wasn’t satisfactory my intention was to request half my money back being I wasn’t satisfied. It was at that point I was asked to leave and I was still eating a frosty and my daughter was still eating at this point because it wasn’t resolved at the store level I do not ever plan to visit Wendy’s again and now requesting a full refund. I do not want and gift certificate or any thing like that , you can keep your apologies because the manager Betty should have been the one to provide it. Please send a check for the full balance of my order to.”

“My family frequents this restaurant. As someone who grew up in Texas, I have had trouble finding a place that had decent Mexican food nearby. This place is it and not badly priced either. I recommend the birria tacos, taco salad, or quesadilla! If you have a picky eater, mine says the Dino nuggets are top-notch!”

“No, I would not recommend. I waited before writing this review hoping that I would get a call back from the manager. I left 2 requests for him to call me and haven't heard anything back. My husband and I were there on a Saturday for lunch. Our food was ok and service was fine. I ordered takeover for my mom, a hamburger with nothing but raw onion on it. We finished our lunch and waited a long time for the takeout. My mom called the next day to thank me. She said they remembered the raw onion, unfortunately there was no hamburger, just the bun and raw onion. We love to support local businesses, however we will not be going back to The Crane Room. I didn't expect a free meal or even credit. However an apology would have gone a long way.”

“Wow, usually Taco Bell employees put way less effort into my burrito. A+ for not putting the sour cream in only one spot that I suddenly encounter after digging through the desert of dry rice.”

“I visited the New Castle Popeyes with my two buddies and had a great experience, mainly because of the level of service, which is rare at fast food restaurants.

We ordered chicken and tenders. Everything was very fresh. The chicken tasted really good and the fries were hot, but what stood out the most was how we were treated.

The staff, especially David, showed a level of service I have honestly never seen at a fast food place. He checked on us three times to make sure we were good, offered extra sauces without being asked, and made us feel welcomed from start to finish. He even made sure to say goodbye when we left, which almost never happens in fast food settings.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience changed my view on the level of service at fast food restaurants. Great food, but even better service. I will definitely be coming back.”

“I hadn't had a Jersey Mike's sub in more than a couple years, and when one moved into New Castle PA, I resolved to get a sub there, eventually...

So FINALLY got a whole #13 Italian, Mike's Way with extra lettuce. The wife and I were waaay more than pleased with the sub.

The roll was crusty, just enough. It had the perfect amount of oil and vinegar. The thing was delicious.

And the lunch meat Jersey Mike's uses is so far above every other place around here. It's got a quality taste to it. Just so good.

If you want a REAL Italian hoagie on a great roll, with exactly what you want on it, and a nice clean brand new store and a great staff (and I mean a GREAT crew), this is the only game in town.

Get a gyro or lamb hoagie wherever else you want, they're all great in New Castle.

But, for a truly great, huge step above, hoagie. Jersey Mike's in the Walmart parking lot, to the right a bit... is IT!!”
