“For six years I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since my old favorite one closed. I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!”

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!”

“Second time eating at this gem, bringing the family along. I had the tikka masala, and family had red curry, chicken quesadilla and Hawaiian stir fry. The flavors were SO delicious and everyone loved their meals. It's great they offer vegetarian protein choices and substitutes. Owners are super friendly. We can't wait to come back again!”

“I love the amount of real spices they use in their curries. I can tell that the restaurant has a great quality of food. I am very sensitive to (hot) spices, but I want to enjoy the flavors of Indian food. If I ask for a 0 the spice level feels too hot for me. Last time I came, I asked for them to adjust the spice level to be milder than 0. They were able to reduce the heat in the dish to levels I could handle without reducing the flavor. I have not dined in at this restaurant, but enjoy the ambience of the place. It is clean and the decor is eye catching.”

“The Market in Verona is so awesome. It is so great to go in and get good quality food that you can reheat at home. I recently got the Eggplant Parmesan, pasta and risotto balls. Everything was so delicious and enough for another dinner. My husband got the Chicken Parmesan and really enjoyed it also. The service at the Market is outstanding and it was so nice to also meet Andrew the owner. I am looking forward to coming back again and getting more of this high quality and delicious Italian Food that reminded me so much of what my Mommy used to make. I highly recommend them.”

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. I would strongly recommend this location for really first rate Italian food and a great atmosphere”

“First time ever experiencing a twin peaks. Many of my friends and family have raved about other locations so when we saw one on our travels we decided to stop in. Here is my review in honesty: I know today was a big game day but we came in early to avoid that and potentially have a nice lunch. We told them that it was our first time, we weren’t told we had to scan for the menu until we looked down and saw that. Service was prompt but their customer service attitude was poor. When our food arrived the girl who brought it placed it on the other side of the table to where we had to grab it and place it in front of us. Our waitress seemed drab and seemed like we were wasting her time which isn’t exactly the best when someone is coming there the first time. Now the food itself was great, the decor was lovely put together but they need to work with their staff on being more personable. They weren’t smiling, talkative, they were in their phones, bartenders were complaining loudly. Honestly I felt like I was at a low budget Hooters mixed with the attitude of a Dicks. I would absolutely recommend this place for the food but not for the customer service.”

They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”

“We had a great dinner with friends at the Lemont. From the moment we arrived until we departed the staff was super friendly and attentive. The service could not have been better. Both coupes chose the $99 dinner and it was excellent except for the dessert. We all chose the Burnt Almond Tort. Beth, our waitress told us where it was from which was not the bakery known for it but did not give us enough of a warning. I thought the cake was terrible and nothing like its namesake. The Lemont should not be serving it. Outside of that the food was excellent but that is what dropped it to 4 stars.”

“I am a foodie for sure and this experience was a flavor explosion!! The beets were a texture fantasy with a crunch and sweet savory home run. And the Striploin?!!!!! Filet tenderness with a better than NY strip flavor (how is it possible?). Second only to my NYC Wagyu A5 favorite. I was a little hesitant when I first saw the menu, but nothing disappointed at all! Would definitely recommend and return with friends for that steak!!! Chef Dave is a Master of flavors. Shame on me for reviewing before dessert. COME FOR THE DESSERT!! SMH. Creativity of the highest order. I can see why this place is packed tonight. Bring a date, bring your family, impress a client. You will not regret it. And ask for Crystal! “It has never been anything but a pleasant experience at Kyle’s Cakes n’ at! My husband, daughter, and I love cheesecake and first tried the cheesecake at a farmers market they were at. We knew we wanted to order their cheesecake for our wedding at that point.

Even with all the craziness of them opening their storefront the day of our wedding, they were super accommodating with properly packing the cheesecakes for us to travel a few hours with them. Everything turned out amazing and the cheesecake was a major hit with our guests!

More recently, we went in for last minute cookies for the holidays and Kyle offered to bake them fresh. Of course, the cookies tasted amazing as well! I cannot recommend Kyle’s Cakes n’ at enough!”

I ordered the Sparkie’s Omelette—which comes with kielbasa, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut—and while it may sound like an odd combo, it was on point. Paired with home fries and wheat toast, everything hit the spot. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and good service.....can’t ask for more from a diner breakfast.”

“I have a matcha problem and I really enjoyed the matcha ice cream here. Levels 2 and 3 were great but I’m sure that level 1 is good too! Good customer service as well. I also liked that there were non-matcha flavors available for my non-matcha consuming companions.”

“The food at this place is very good. The service on the other hand is awful. They are rude, slow and awkward. Customer service seems to be a secondhand thought. When our server dumped a beer all over my husband they hardly apologized and then rudely asked if he wanted another one… like it was an inconvenience to them… and then they charged us for both beers!!! Accidents happen, but the attitude and lack of apologies or even towels to clean up the mess tells you a lot about how the place is being run.”

“Such a fun venue with lots of exciting shows! I've been for the recession pop party in May and we're headed to the Taylor Swift party tonight. The hot dogs are delicious (they have lots of specialty dogs with various toppings!) and the drinks are absolutely phenomenal. The people who work there are great, I accidentally deleted the email with my tickets and Mariah emailed me very shortly afterwards and got me taken care of! It is clear that Bottlerocket takes pride in their shows and their contributions to Pittsburgh culture! We can't wait for even more fun events in the future!!! 🩵🩵”
