“Take the time to reflect on your Marine's experience by actually talking to the Drill Instructors who trained your Marine. Be sure to add this to your itinerary while visiting the island. Food on the buffet was top notch. Lots of brass were there too. Actually spoke to a Letuennant General. That was amazing. Do not overlook this activity.“

“Delicious food, extremely clean, helpful staff! On a recent trip to Beaufort SC, after a long day of travel and site seeing we were late getting supper before heading to our hotel. Culvers was just a block from our hotel so this was a very convenient spot to grab supper and we were pleasantly surprised to find a very clean restaurant with helpful staff who seemed to care and know what they were doing. The food was hot fresh and delicious! We went back the next day for a late evening ice cream on our way back to the hotel to end up our day. Already looking forward to going back here again someday!“

“William Green; the owner of this small home-style "Gullah Cooking cuisine" restaurant, let us (party of 8) in after closing early due to poor weather. The hospitality he greeted us with was as if he had never closed the restaurant. This kind, generous man welcomed us into his local-art-stocked room. Mr. Green was the only worker in the place at this time. He took our order with impeccable accuracy, went back to the kitchen, and prepared the comfort food himself. Surprisingly, he arrived with the food 20 minutes after the order was placed. The stories he told us of his fishing and hunting excursions are spiritual connections I will carry for a lifetime. This man is truly God-sent, and if you're ever in South Carolina, I recommend this place "Gullah Grub", to anyone in the area. He will treat you with upmost respect and courtesy and he will give you his best! God Bless this man and his family!!“

“Ordered food at 1220. 40 minutes of waiting and still no food. Left at 1300 empty handed. They take way too long for mediocre at best food.Edit: changed to 4 stars. They fixed their mistake and reimbursed more than I paid at the time. Not a huge fan of the fries to be honest. Burgers and breakfast burritos are good.“

“Very positive experience. We ate on the outside porch on Friday evening. It was a beautiful nighttime view of the water & park, yet we stayed warm because of the overhead heat lamps. I had the fried pork wontons & my husband had the shrimp burger. Both were excellent. Our server suggested dessert - the fried cheesecake strawberry doughnut. It was so DELICIOUS!!!!!!!“

Ordered tea 50/50 mix was perfect. Had the Shrimp Po Boy with fries. My friends had the Buffalo chicken wrap and the Mozzarella sticks.
Food looked good. Not bad but not stunning. The locals at the bar were very friendly. Whish our server would have been a tad more friendly. I got what I thought was an evil eye when I entered the establishment with my service K9. Food was OK but a tad expensive in my opinion, who knows... I would return to hang with friends.“

We had a party of 20+ and she made sure our food was correct and our drinks was full she then took another party and two or three other tables while dealing with us and never lacked. Not sure where ihop would be without her because it seemed like the other serves didn’t want to take tables. We really enjoyed ourself.“
