“Always good food and good service”

“My husband and I had dinner last night at the new Outback. We’ve tried several times, It’s always been packed. Pleasantly surprised, we were immediately seated. Best wait staff we have experienced in a restaurant for a while. Everyone friendly. Didn’t get their names or I would mention them. But our waitress Olivia was excellent. I had the filet and husband had the ribeye. Both were really good and perfectly cooked. Glad to have this near by. Will definitely eat here again.”

“I dined there tonight and was horrified to witness a very unprofessional and negative interaction between Logan (the manager) and an elderly female bartender towards a professional looking female patron who simply sent a drink back because the waiter didn't make the correct drink. They accused this poor woman of being drunk and followed her to her car screaming and yelling at her. It was very uncalled for and very upsetting to all the other diners. Over a drink that THEY didn't make correctly. I will never dine there again after witnessing this.”

“I ordered Ribeye withe side of mashed & prime rib soup as an appetizer! The steak was perfectly seasoned & cooked. The soup is a must try- decadent & delicious! The ambiance is cozy, clean & my server Sarah P. was amazing. She was friendly, helpful with recommendations, fast and attentive. She checked in frequently & very thoughtfully made sure my needs were met, even offering a to- go cup for my drink which is a nice touch. Great place to go.”

“We took out 7 year old for his birthday dinner, the experience started off great. We showed up and we're seated on time, waitress came by and got drink orders and that's when the night slowed down. It took quite some time between ordering drinks and ordering food, the chef didn't do anything spectacular but the food tasted fine and he didn't take longer than the average. Between the chef starting and finishing our waited didn't come by one time so I was out of drink pretty much from start to finish of the cooking. When she did come by I ask for a refill and she went to get that and the checks. She came back by a few minutes later and didn't have my drink and the checks were all mixed up. After that I never saw her again, the manager(possibly owner) came by and said the checks were up front. She made it seem like that was normal but I've never been to a Japanese style restaurant where you doing get your checks at the table and have to go to the hostess stand to see them and pay. We didn't get a birthday song. And no drinks to go, thankfully we did get white sauce. I will be hesitant to go back.”

I tried the berries and cream cookie… the inside tastes completely raw. I know that’s how they’re supposed to be, but it wasn’t for me. Also, they were out of a product early in the morning.

“This is the best pizza in the area. The owner is a super cool guy who interacts with customers and walks around Vaughn’s spinning dough in the air. The pizza slices are massive that it takes two paper plates to hold them.

“We stopped by this week for our first visit. This restaurant is absolutely a hidden gem. The owner was so inviting and started by offering us free samples of the home made punches that are available as well as explained everything on the menu. We tried the jerk wings, jerk chicken platter, chicken brownstew and chicken curry. Every dish we we ordered was absolutely amazing with wonderful flavors and large portions. Each dish is served with your choice of one of three different types of rice, pickled cabbage or side salad and fried plantains. We were too full to try the desserts, but loved everything about this wonderful restaurant and look forward to a return visit in the near future.👍👍👍👍👍”

“We decided to check out Vaughn's Food Hall. We decided on the Tackle Box. We ordered the hot crab dip , the Fish and chips (cod), and the Oyster po boy. The food was absolutely delicious. It was cooked to perfection. It's nice that everyone doesn't have to eat the same thing with all the different restaurants in one place. We will absolutely be back.”

“Shortfields catered my best friend’s wedding, and they were absolutely outstanding! Garnet went above and beyond—she met us at the venue earlier in the week, helped plan the entire reception layout, and even rolled up her sleeves to move tables so everything would flow smoothly. On the wedding day, she worked tirelessly to make sure every detail was perfect.

The team she brought was equally amazing. They served passed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, had a carving station, plus three other stations that made it easy for guests to mingle and enjoy the food. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious.

Guests raved about the food all night, and it was clear how much care went into every detail. Shortfields has a wonderful catering menu, and I would absolutely recommend them for any special event—especially weddings!”

Wouldn’t have known it was good for me and very filling..it was the taco bowl and I can’t wait to try more of the meals..I’m excited to try all of them..I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name when I was in there but he was very nice and helpful!”

Ciera's customer service was excellent, and Arturo cooked my chicken to perfection. After calling the restaurant to give my verbal review, I decided to do a written one as well. I was saddened to hear today was Ciera's last day. She's taken my order a few times in the past and has always been awesome.”

So we booked for two for drinks. it was such a fun place and they had a happy hour which was great. there was a live singer but at 7pm it became a DJ. it was decorated in assorts of unusual things such as heads and ghostly figures. we never ate in there. the staff were very friendly.”

“We had a neighborhood group of 19 people here today for lunch. Our server, Carmen, was attentive and she did a wonderful job. All other staff was very friendly making sure our needs were met. Food was great (I polled a few and they also enjoyed it) and all meals came out within just a few minutes of each other so we all were eating at the same time. One of our group uses a walker; the manager (maybe also the owner?) was very kind and helpful to us all, but he also helped our friend out the door and into the parking lot to get in the car. Not sure why but the coffee at this Starbucks seems to be much stronger than at other locations, like Fairview Rd and Main St. Being just a mile from my house, I wish it wasn't. I'd probably go more often. I just don't care for it being that strong. On the plus side, the service at the drive-through is always great, and the folks I encounter there are friendly and polite.”

I wasnt able to eat it with just lettuce because why? I went hungry tonight :( I dont understand why the chicken was not given?!?! Isnt that the entire point of the salad? Really frustrated and upset.”

My family and I love it everytime . I have been to the Hwy 14 location and woodruff rd and the E North St location. All have wonder food and excellent portions . I got the fried rice ,white sauce and chicken with jumbo shrimp Fast ,friendly service . Go support this awesome business!!!”

I called back n asked can you look by the pop machine maybe left it by there he said sorry just cleaned around the area n nothing. I said I was parked just outside door on pop machine side. he looked out window n didn't see anything. I gave my number n not even 10 minutes later they called back n said they found it. someone went outside and looked in my parking spot n there it sat. 2 hours later still sitting there. big thank you guys who went out n looked for me. it's just a small square key chain wallet so small small small. hey guys I can't thank you enough. oh and thank you Lord for guarding it safe that not one picked it up n pocked it. have a great weekend everyone”
