“When we entered Stompin' Grounds for our Father's Day brunch we were greeted by Ha and let me tell you...that was the most energetic and happy greeting I have ever received at a restaurant and the whole party agreed!! Ha was fantastic, not just greeting us, but throughout the rest of the meal and our time at the restaurant! She was constantly coming around to make us smile, but not in an annoying way...she did it so well that we felt special and well taken care of and she really made the morning special. “Didn't have time to take pictures but this place is great with quick service and great prices. Didn't expect to find something so reasonable / cheap. It is only outdoor service at a window counter. They have outdoor seating and a little turf area to sit / for kids. A lot of selection of flavors with either cones or cups, and different things like shakes, sundae, and hurricanes. I got the sampler of my own choices of key lime pie, Graham Central Station, Banana Cream Pie, and Coconut Cream Pie. All were amazing and tasted high quality.“

We took a group of foster kids and the owner came and introduced himself, spent time talking to the kids and introduced other shops in the area to them. Go see Pepe. A couple that stood out to me in particular were the strawberry shortcake and carrot cake—they were especially flavorful and memorable compared to the rest.

One thing to keep in mind is that the cookies are definitely rich and fairly high in calories, sugar, and fat, which is pretty typical for oversized gourmet-style cookies.

Because of that, I personally see them as more of a special-occasion treat or occasional indulgence rather than an everyday dessert.
