The platter I ordered was placed on it in a way that shows they take pride in their work. Other places just slam it on. Presentation was spot on. I would absolutely recommend this location!! “I went to this restaurant today after realizing I had low blood sugar and nothing to try and get it up in the car with me. I was panicking a little, very clammy, nauseous and light headed which made me a little flustered. The lady taking my order was very patient with me, when I said my blood sugar was low she had someone bring me a drink and cookie right away and got my meal to me quickly with a little note as well. It was really sweet how caring the staff was. I’m extremely grateful for how they treated me.“

“I love pals,but today . I ordered a big pal no mayo. The young ladies repeated order correctly ? but Imagine my surprise when I got home in fall branch I took a big ole bite . Fries n drink ate on way home upchucked it all. I still love pals. I'll be back. We're human and make mistakes“

“This Pal's right here, is the greatest Pal's I've ever been to in the 2+ years I've lived in Tennessee. When it comes to Pal's, I've only ever seen Drive Thru. Drive Thru's make me ask the question of, "If I don't have a car, can I not order food here?"

Well do I have good news for you. This Pal's is a walk in establishment. You can walk into the building to make your order, and then walk out the other door with your food. Right outside that door, there's a little area with picnic benches under a little roof to protect you from Sun/Snow/Rain while you eat your food. Within that little area is a Bathroom for Men and Women so if at any point during your meal you need to go, they've got you covered.

If you don't have anyone to come to Pal's with to give you company during your meal, no need to worry! There's typically always a bunch of friendly birds looking for a hand out nearby. I'm the type of person that's easily amused, so when I sat down to eat my two hot dogs, I pinched off some bread from the bun and threw it for the birds to eat. They LOVED IT!

The staff inside are are EXTREMELY friendly to say the least. While me and my boyfriend were in the area in the process of getting married, we stopped here two days in a row. When they learned we were getting married, they were quick to congratulate us.

Lastly I want to talk about the food. When you order your food, the food is made fresh on the spot. You may be waiting for a few minutes BUT you wait there knowing the food you will receive is fresh. Nowadays, so many fast food places will hand you crusty dried up food expecting you to eat it instead of giving you fresh food. To the point that when you order, you HAVE to specify you want it fresh. That is not an issue with Pal's!

I love this specific Pal's because it's the only Pal's I've ever seen that not only lets you walk in to order, but gives you a place to enjoy your meal sheltered from the elements of nature. AND a place to take care of your business mid meal.

“I have never been inside but I've been thru the drive thru many times for breakfast! Always kind staff and food is always hot and great and my order has always been correct! I sure do miss the old fashioned cinnamon raisin biscuits that were like home made.“

If you've never had Pal's before and you live in the East Tennessee area, what are you waiting on? “Service has always been good. I really appreciate that they'll make lunch food in the morning. I get thinking about a JR Pal with cheese often.The only complaint I could ever have is that the food can be meh sometimes. Bread will taste old or burnt, fries salted too heavily , or tea tasting old and sour. This is only every once and awhile and typically when they're busy.Avoid trying to eat here during lunch hours, they will be lined up out in the road sometimes.Overall, I feel like Pals is generally a better deal than other burger places like BK, or Hardee's.“

“Food was cold. Chicken was dry and the breading was hard. Slaw tasted like it was just cabbage and mayo. Of course we were there close to closing time so maybe that was why. Normally the chicken is awesome. The tea was really good as always.“

“Long John Silver in Johnson City has updated their outside appearance, which looks very nice. The inside is mostly updated but could use some tending to in order to keep it looking good.

Customer service was top notch on our visit; super friendly cashier and staff prepping food. She answered menu questions since some things recently changed. Food was brought to the table quickly and it was fresh! The order was correct, food was delicious and hot!

Parking: It is right next to a gas station, so when drive thru backs up you can block parked cars and even the entrance.“
