Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, he struck the perfect balance and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the meal. The food and drinks were just as impressive. We tried a few cocktails, and they were perfectly balanced and beautifully made. The Wagyu burger and truffle fries were incredibly flavorful. The sausage pizza was also delicious. everbowl 10909 Parkside Dr, Knoxville Acai Bowls • $

“Lots of thoughts! The acai base was extremely good- very thick and almost stretchy. Not a fan of the pitaya base, it was pretty icy. The bruschetta toast was very tart, too much so for me but my sister loved it. The avocado toast was generous with the avocado. The avocado spread was pretty tangy, but the honey drizzle on top complimented the tanginess nicely. The bowl was $14.50 and each toast was $6.50.”

The ratatouille was also quite nice, though maybe a bit overpriced. The fromager came to our table and helped us select cheeses, which were amazing. French onion soup—what can I say? “Our family had the pleasure of dining at the Gatlinburg, TN location. We have a non-verbal, special needs son who uses a wheelchair. They made us feel welcomed by seating us at a perfect table that was accessible and yet out of the way to accommodate his wheelchair. Thank you to the seating hostess for accommodating us! 💜 Then we had a wonderful server by the name of Mark! He provided excellent service, made sure that our son felt welcomed, and made sure our son had a wonderful meal that he enjoyed very much! We explained our son's dietary restrictions and Mark did a excellent job at making recommendations for our son's meal. The excitement our son had from his first bite of the Neva's Potatoes was priceless! His face lit up with excitement, scooched his wheelchair closer, and leaned in closer over the potatoes. lol Kinda wished we had gotten extra potatoes for him to have again later. He was just as excited while eating his leftovers too! Thank you to our server Mark and Chesapeake's for the wonderful meal and accomodating our family. We highly recommend this restaurant! 🥰”

“My wife, our 3-year-old daughter, and I stopped in today for a late lunch while visiting Knoxville from Ooltewah (Chattanooga). We're always on the lookout for great spots to eat, and this place did not disappoint. While there was a bit of a wait from ordering to getting our food, we weren’t in a rush—and it was absolutely worth it. My wife did also make the comment that she read that everything here was cooked fresh from ordering. Our server was friendly, attentive, and gave us fantastic recommendations after asking a few thoughtful questions. We ended up loving everything we ordered. As we were eating, we overheard another customer commenting on how good the food was and how busy it had been earlier—it was around 2-3 p.m., so we figured the staff was catching their breath after the lunch rush. We’ll be back in town next week, and we’re definitely coming back here! I signed the check and left it at the table, as we had to hit the road back to Ooltewah and didn’t get the chance to properly thank our server. She was excellent, and we truly appreciated her service. We hope to see her again when we're back next week.”

“We went to the mall to walk and have dinner last night. We had never seen this place but decided to try it out! I had the pulled pork sandwich with cornbread and chips, and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich with cornbread, baked beans and coleslaw. It was very good southern BBQ. I loved the sweet cornbread because it was just the right amount of sweet and not dry. It was a very good change from your typical mall food court options. They are locally owned and not a chain and a great place to take a break from the busyness of the mall. They are located just across from Great American Cookie Company next to the Cinnebare entrance. The customer service was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant, and we will be back!”

“On brief vacation with my lovely wife, our hotel clerk suggested Monterrey which was close by. Visited of Friday evening and the place was packed. Many of the patrons appeared to be of Mexican descent, always a good sign of good, authentic food. We were quickly seated in a super clean, delicious smelling dining room and immediately greeted by a lovely young lady who brought us hot, fresh tortilla chips and a wonderfully tasty, fresh salsa which must have been made in house with chunks of fresh tomato and the perfect blend of chillies and herbs. We noticed that everyone was super clean and superbly efficient in doing their assigned tasks without being in the way, all the while appearing to be genuinely happy! This is a sign of an excellently managed business. A handsome, well I groomed gentleman (who I think is a part of the nuclear family who has operated this business for 35 years) stopped at our table to greet us and express his genuine appreciation for our patronage. He recommended a house specialty 'POLLO MONTERREY'. What a magnificent dish! Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked chicken with spinach and some secret ingredients and spiced most excellently. Sizzling hot dancing sauces made this dish visually stunning and aromatically enticing. I cannot recommend this dish too highly. It was so delightfully good that we came back today, Saturday, for a repeat performance. This restaurant shows me how well an establishment can be operated. Nothing but excellence, unpretentious class, and the utmost in genuine customer service and satisfaction. Just so you know, my wife and I are not food critics, just common folks who appreciate being so well cared for in every respect. I forgot to mention the prices! We found the entire experience to be a tremendously good value. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. I expect you'll become regulars. We would be except that we live on Jane beautiful west (best) coast of Florida. Once again, Monterrey is in our decades long experience, right at the top of restaurants we would chose to frequent. My husband ordered the 7 oz sirtion & it was much thicker & larger than my ribeye. The ribeye I was served was very thin. This is unusual for the Chophouse cause I always order the 10 oz ribeye & it is always spot on.We celebrate special occasions here & love it. The house salad is amazing. Hopefully I won’t be disappointed the next time I order ribeye. Thank you Kathy Adderholdt”

“Jig and Reel is a Knoxville staple. I’ve been coming here since college. The whiskey menu is extensive so if that’s your thing, this is the place. The food is shockingly good. I have always loved their fish and chips - super crispy, great fries, and homemade tartar sauce. My husband loves their scotch egg. We reserved their side room for an event recently and were so impressed. There was no fee for renting as we had about 30 people there that would be eating and ordering drinks. We were able to decorate the room to our liking (but of course took everything down afterwards). We ordered a charcuterie board and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Our server (can’t remember his name but he kinda looks like the DJ ‘Eliminate’) was fantastic. He was fast with orders, very observant of the room, and offered help wherever we needed. I was also happy to see that we were still treated well with it being a queer event - there was no hostility. We’ll happily have more events in the future here.”

“We traveled from Cookeville 7/2/2025 to try Altruda's. I did not catch our waiter's name but he had glasses and reddish hair. He was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is cozy but also gives speak easy/old world style vibes. We requested strawberry daiquiris but they said they were out of strawberries. The salad was the absolute best. The rolls were very good, but they were drowning in butter. Now the entrees were just ok. We were kinda disappointed. The cannelloni had too much cheese. It was kinda like a cheese soup with some pasta. The manicotti was ok, it was also drowning in sauce. We also ordered cannoli and tiramisu. They were both really good. The price for 3 entrees, a sweet tea, a sprite, 2 desserts, plus a tip was under $100. The prices are reasonable. Overall we had a good experience and we had food left over for lunch today. The experience was nice and we will give Altruda's another try when we have the chance.”

“I do recommend Country Burrito. However…today I visited your Town Center location, and my experience wasn’t great. The food was fantastic, bathroom was very clean, atmosphere was nice, but it seems the hostess waited on us, and unfortunately she was not attentive to our table, kept forgetting us it seemed like. We didn’t even get a check back for a refill on our drinks until towards the end of the meal. Then, out of nowhere she straight up left work. We sat there for 30 minutes trying to flag down another waiter who was busy with what seemed like all the tables in there. I’m not sure they know, but staff shouldn’t leave work unless all of their tables are closed out. If our table was meant to be taken over by another server, we should have been told. There was no communication. I have never not tipped for service, but in this case there was literally no service. My only recommendation would be to have your front of house employees be more structured and responsible. Sadly, this also isn’t our first experience with something like this happening before, either. We may have to just get our food to go from now on. I’d hate to see the company fall under because of no service. Please do something about it.”

Not sure what crew you had in on 7/16/25 around 4pm, but KEEP THEM! (If anyone from that crew see’s this, keep up the good work!)”

“My visit to Red Lobster is proof that the most valuable asset of a business is the employees. Brittany W. was not only prompt and good at anticipating what we might need, she also made suggestions of menu choices my sister and I did not notice. But best of all, her wonderful sense of humor created a warm circle of acceptance that transformed the usual restaurant meal into a fun pleasurable feeling of a FAMILY”

“I went here for my birthday which I have done for the last few years. I always love the french onion soup and the blooming onions. Although this time, the blooming onion was mediocre at best, the onion was very thin and overcooked. But everything else was wonderful. This place by far has the best french onion soup.”

“Food was very good and large portions, to which I give it a 9 out of 10; when waitress presented the bill, she stood there while we looked at the bill and added a tip to the paperwork. We always tip restaurant staff, however it was quite uncomfortable when we reviewed the bill and decided how much the tip should be...just sayin'.”

“WE ORDERED A LARGE PIZZA AND A LARGE GREEK SALAD YESTERDAY AT 235PM. MY HUSBAND ARRIVED THERE AT 255PM AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE A COUPLE OF MINUTES MORE. HE RECIVED THE PIZZA AT 330PM. WHEN HE BOUGHT THE ORDER HOME INSTEAD OF A LARGE GREEK SALAD THEY SENT A SMALL GREEK SALAD. I CALLED BACK TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS SMALL ORDER THAT TOOK AN HOUR TO RECIEVE AND THE MANAGER ( MAN ) TOLD ME THEN I SHOULD'VE ORDERED THRU DOOR DASH. IF THIS IS NOT THE MOST STUPID RESPONSE OF THIS MANAGERS INEPTITUDE TO RUN A BUSINESS. HE BLAMES IT ON A TOTALLY IRRELEVANT OTHER PARTY INSTEAD OF TAKING RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SERVICE PAID FOR. I REALLY USED TO LIKE MELLOW MUSHROOM BUT I WILL NO LONGER B PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS. CUSTOMER SRRVICE IS NO LONGER A PRIORITY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. PROBABLY A TRUMP SUPPORTED FRANCHISE. “This is simply the best restaurant in Knoxville. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, the servings are large and the food is hot or cold, depending on what it is. The wonderful slaw is always chilled. In addition, the servers are friendly and efficient, although possibly overworked. What a great experience!”

“On Tuesday, July 29th I decided to take my wife, kids and grandchild out for a good dinner (7 total). Famous Dave's did not disappoint! We were greeted warmly at the door and seated very quickly. With us having so many people, we ordered the All American barbecue feast, order of wings, fried pickles and egg rolls. Oh, and an extra order of those stupindoesly delicious muffins! Our food didn't take long to hit the table and man, was it good! Everything from the corn on the cob to the brisket was fresh and hot. Everyone raved about the new egg rolls but, my favorite was the beans, ribs and muffins. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and was super nice and helpful. There isn't a single thing I could even remotely complain about when it comes to our wonderful dinner at Dave's. We had a good time, good food and made some good memories!”
