Place an online order for delivery Friday and had some confusion and got delayed called and spoke with someone.Got it taken care. The app showed issues the next day so I stopped in at the store and cici( I believe that was her name) Was a wonderful help. She got my order right away for me. So helpful and kind. Spoke with some of the other employees and they all seemed so nice and optimistic. Adding another photo”

“we made reservation for 3 at 1:30pm on a Sunday and were seated right away. The atmosphere and decor already me 😍. My husband, son, and I are HUGE pizza fans. We've traveled all over for it so we thought why not try a new pie in our favorite city. It did not disappoint. We went for the hot honey pepperoni and veggie deluxe and they were both amazing. My husband got the spicy rigatoni and it was VERY close, if not better than the dish we just had in Chicago. We will 100% be back! The staff were also very welcoming. Great experience!”

“We went here for our annual office Christmas dinner. The food was incredible- but the service was TOP NOTCH. All the servers were great but our main server Grace was knowledgeable as most of us had never been there before, our guys can get obnoxious and she handled them great and she was on top of everything. We didn’t feel rushed or like we were waiting for anything even though we spent over four hours enjoying our experience. 5 out of 5 stars would def recommend and am going to personally bring family back for celebrations. Great times were had by us all.”

It has been said that we eat with our eyes too. Dishes were finely presented and they tasted as good as they looked. Dishes are light and complex without being fussy. I believe they have set the bar for Asian cuisine in Knoxville.”

The gal who waited on us - I think she’s an owner - was so helpful and patient with us newbies!! 💕 We got savory spicy chicken crepe sandwiches and bubble teas to start. It was cool to watch the sandwich making process from beginning to end! And both the teas and sandwiches were DELICIOUS!! Of course, we saved room for dessert. Thankful we did!! I do declare that fine little red headed filly then comensed singing the waffle house song while she washed every dish in the place 3 times all by herself. “The lady at the Casey's off of gallaher in waterbridge the lady that works there is very sweet she always lets me get us some ice for my cooler so I don't have to pay $4 for a 7 lb bag of ice that melts within three hours out in this heat she really helps me and my crew out we only get paid biweekly and I also have stage 4 breast cancer with metastatic disease so I miss a lot of work she is a blessing now remember I only ask 1 time a week and if it's my pay week I buy it, yeah she is such a blessing to my crew without her help we would have to drink hot water all day long thank you for hiring such a sweet and caring people at your stores”

So you order your food and they give you a number on a stand which you place on the seating of your choice. Five minutes later two young ladies brought our orders to our table and came back multiple times to check and see if we needed anything else. Five stars are definitely in order for this restaurant.”

“I love this place! Healthy choices and a unique menu with plenty of options to customize your meal. I typically order the kids meal which is an afforable option for a light lunch and comes with a drink. The cucumber mint is my favorite drink and I always get the pita chips with crazy feta and skhug sauce. We tried the cinnamon pita chips today with honey. Perfect ending to a great meal. Thankful to my daughter in law for introducing me to CAVA.”

“Oh downtown Knox where do I begin… ever since my days at UT back in ‘96 I loved going downtown. Of course back then you would catch me at the hill or one of the other bars the fellas would be at. But now I come for a different reason… ICE CREAM. My wife’s boyfriend reccomended this place to me a while back, and ever since then we’ve been going at it nonstop (and I’m not talking about just the ice cream😉. He’s actually a really cool dude and, he hits the spot just right. At first I didn’t tell my wife that I was going out with her boyfriend, but when she found out she wasn’t actually that mad. She even lets me watch from the closet sometimes when Im good. Other than that, the ice cream is delicious and they always have fun flavors. I love the Santa’s cookie!!!! “Jig and Reel is a Knoxville staple. I’ve been coming here since college. The whiskey menu is extensive so if that’s your thing, this is the place. The food is shockingly good. I have always loved their fish and chips - super crispy, great fries, and homemade tartar sauce. My husband loves their scotch egg. We reserved their side room for an event recently and were so impressed. There was no fee for renting as we had about 30 people there that would be eating and ordering drinks. We were able to decorate the room to our liking (but of course took everything down afterwards). We ordered a charcuterie board and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Our server (can’t remember his name but he kinda looks like the DJ ‘Eliminate’) was fantastic. He was fast with orders, very observant of the room, and offered help wherever we needed. I was also happy to see that we were still treated well with it being a queer event - there was no hostility. We’ll happily have more events in the future here.”

The wonderful slaw is always chilled. In addition, the servers are friendly and efficient, although possibly overworked. What a great experience!”

“They say you should never meet your heroes, but clearly they’ve never met Candy. I ordered a simple unsweet tea, macaroni, a burger slider… and she turned it into a five-star experience. Halfway through my meal, a flock of rogue pigeons somehow burst through the front door (long story), and one made a dive straight for my slider. In one fluid motion, Candy blocked it with a cocktail shaker, slid me to safety, and single-handedly negotiated peace with the birds. She refilled my tea before I even knew I was thirsty again. Her tea pouring technique should be studied in hospitality schools, and if she ever writes a memoir, I’ll be first in line… assuming she isn’t too busy saving the world. 5 stars, no notes”

I accidentally spilled an entire coffee and not only did they refuse to let me help clean it up, they also replaced my coffee without hesitation and without me even asking. “On brief vacation with my lovely wife, our hotel clerk suggested Monterrey which was close by. Visited of Friday evening and the place was packed. Many of the patrons appeared to be of Mexican descent, always a good sign of good, authentic food. We were quickly seated in a super clean, delicious smelling dining room and immediately greeted by a lovely young lady who brought us hot, fresh tortilla chips and a wonderfully tasty, fresh salsa which must have been made in house with chunks of fresh tomato and the perfect blend of chillies and herbs. We noticed that everyone was super clean and superbly efficient in doing their assigned tasks without being in the way, all the while appearing to be genuinely happy! This is a sign of an excellently managed business. A handsome, well I groomed gentleman (who I think is a part of the nuclear family who has operated this business for 35 years) stopped at our table to greet us and express his genuine appreciation for our patronage. He recommended a house specialty 'POLLO MONTERREY'. What a magnificent dish! Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked chicken with spinach and some secret ingredients and spiced most excellently. Sizzling hot dancing sauces made this dish visually stunning and aromatically enticing. I cannot recommend this dish too highly. It was so delightfully good that we came back today, Saturday, for a repeat performance. This restaurant shows me how well an establishment can be operated. Nothing but excellence, unpretentious class, and the utmost in genuine customer service and satisfaction. Just so you know, my wife and I are not food critics, just common folks who appreciate being so well cared for in every respect. I forgot to mention the prices! We found the entire experience to be a tremendously good value. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. I expect you'll become regulars. We would be except that we live on Jane beautiful west (best) coast of Florida. Once again, Monterrey is in our decades long experience, right at the top of restaurants we would chose to frequent. U Brew has an impressive selection of high-quality coffees to choose from, along with excellent equipment and brewing options. You can tell Andrew really knows his craft and genuinely enjoys helping people learn and find what they like. The shop itself has a great vibe. Comfortable couches, plenty of tables, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Overall, this was a fantastic first visit, and we’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend checking it out if you enjoy great coffee and an inviting, welcoming experience.”

IF THIS IS NOT THE MOST STUPID RESPONSE OF THIS MANAGERS INEPTITUDE TO RUN A BUSINESS. HE BLAMES IT ON A TOTALLY IRRELEVANT OTHER PARTY INSTEAD OF TAKING RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SERVICE PAID FOR. Place an online order for delivery Friday and had some confusion and got delayed called and spoke with someone.Got it taken care. The app showed issues the next day so I stopped in at the store and cici( I believe that was her name) Was a wonderful help. She got my order right away for me. So helpful and kind. Spoke with some of the other employees and they all seemed so nice and optimistic. Adding another photo”

“We went here for the first time about a week ago. For ALMOST all things (except for one) I recommend the diner. Our waitress was new and had someone showing her the ropes. They were both amazing. The food came pretty quick and honestly it was very good. My one complaint…..but it’s a pretty big one. It was FREEZING in there. So cold we almost left. One of the workers had to go get her jacket and was standing in the sunshine shivering when we left. Ridiculously cold. I get the kitchen gets hot but there needs to be a middle ground.”

“Every Christmas my personal highlight was grandmother's molasses cookies. After many tries and looking (she passed away in 1973), I finally found some just as good: Burns Like Molasses. My daughter turned me on to Mama Bear's. I dealt with the Mama herself. She was most helpful, always responded promptly and I got a nice thank you note. My only issue is I need to quit sharing the cookies with others so I will have some for myself!”
