“Fish Place is amazing. The best way to describe it is like a home cooked meal that makes you feel warm inside and good for your soul. We've had many things from their Cajun pasta, redfish with crawfish, ettoufee, jambalaya rice, red beans and rice, blackened chicken...and their veggies are AMAZING (green beans and mixed veggies esp). There hasn't been anything that we haven't liked yet, somehow we drove by it for years before trying it out, don't make the same mistake!“

“Today was a nice day and I decided to go to Mikkis for my Seniors dinner. When I arrived a staff member opened the door for me. Then the lines was not jammed. My order was placed and the staff were prompt in responding. The turkey wings are fall off the bone good. The gravy is just the right consistency. The mashed potatoes are so creamy and delicious. The cabbage is fresh and sweet as candy. The yams, my goodness, can anyone do yams like this restaurant. Absolutely not. The cornbread is such a good texture, it is almost like cake. The staff has changed to a more friendly and polite team. Always enjoy my visits here.“

It gave me that true Louisiana backyard boil vibe. The sides were just as solid—especially the corn and potatoes, which soaked up all that delicious flavor. “Today was my third attempt at hoping to give this place another chance. Just as the two prior experiences it was horrible and the the absolute worst. It started with seating and continued to go downhill from there. The poor waitress, who by the way had only been on the job a week did her very best to try and save us from this disaster, how much can she do when she was only one of three servers working. The food was subpar at best and the think that a meal with an average price point of nearly $100 we would not have been served food to be eaten on Styrofoam plates and plastic forks. Three of four in our party ordered crab only to not be offered shell crackers or zippers, when we asked for some we were told they were locked in the office and the manager was in a meeting so she could not retrieve them! When we asked for the manager she offered an apology but confirmed this was the owner's policy, my guess is they must cost a million bucks to replace. The food was watery and luke-warm, the drinks had very little spirits and overall food was under seasoned. I beg you to NEVER wast your money or time on this place!“

“If you are looking for well seasoned crawfish, this is the place for you!!! OMG! SO, SO, good! I have only had the crawfish, so I can't speak on anything else! When you go, ask for Lynn! She is the hostess with the mostest!!! She is warm and so friendly! She will make recommendations on how to save too!! I absolutely love her! Honestly, I've had bigger crawfish from a competitor, but the taste was just not there! I'll sacrifice size for great taste!!! Try it and thank me later!!!!!“

“I’ve tried wings, fish, shrimp, and shrimp fried rice. Everything flavored well, proportioned well. Don’t care for the shrimp much, they’re large shrimp cut in half and sold as full when doing a combination plate. Only reason I don’t give 5 starts due to ordering my food and waiting on them to fix credit card machine, had to leave and get cash, and come back. Called to have food prepped since the process took 45 mins of my lunch, nothing was given for accommodations. However I do like the food and will still most likely return but with cash. Lol“

“I’ve been here multiple times and have not been disappointed yet. Their sauce and seasoning options are really good. Both the crawfish and snow crab clusters (sorry about the crappy pic but we were hungry!) were fresh, cooked just right and so yummy! I get the garlic butter & Cajun style sauce made spicy. Now have I felt sometimes the weight doesn’t match what I ordered…maybe.
Their pho options are also really good and you can adjust heat as you’d like (pictured is the Cajun pho). The awesome garlic noodles are garlicky and the beignets (though heavy on the powdered sugar) are delicious. Was not too impressed with the crawfish empanadas (I felt like they lacked seasoning).
Staff are nice. TV monitors with different channels playing. Decent seating.“
