“My fiancée and I are always looking for fun and unique date night spots, and Vigilante has quickly become one of our favorites. We love bringing our own card game to play while enjoying the great food and drinks. Every time we’ve visited, we’ve said we’re going to try one of the many games they have available, but we end up getting so caught up in our own game that we never do! It’s still fun watching the staff enthusiastically teach other groups how to play new games, and it really adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The cocktails are outstanding. We both enjoy Old Fashioneds, and Vigilante makes one of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve had in the Austin area. We’ve also tried several of their other cocktails, and every one has been exceptionally well crafted. The food has been just as delicious. We usually order a couple of our favorite staples along with something from the rotating menu, and we’ve yet to be disappointed. What really sets Vigilante apart, though, is the staff. Every employee we’ve interacted with has been genuinely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. They proactively check on us throughout the evening, offer great recommendations for both food and drinks, and are always happy to answer questions about the menu or games. The call button at each table is also a great touch. It makes it easy to get service when you need it without interrupting your game. It’s not often that you find a place that consistently delivers great drinks, great food, excellent service, and such a unique atmosphere, but Vigilante does exactly that. It’s quickly become one of our favorite date night spots, and we’ve already recommended it to several friends. We’ll definitely be back.“
