“From the time we walked in, we were made to feel at home. Funny that we had Jack for a server. I remembered him from a couple years ago at your location in Round Rock. The man has not missed a step. Patient, kind, attentive without being a helicopter. Can't say enough good things about him.....and everyone else in our party of six has said the same things I just told you. Quite impressive! Jack should be proud of all of you. (yes, I'm talking about Jack Gilmore) I've been a huge fan since we were introduced at the Kitchen on 71 probably 12 or 14 years ago. Keep doing what y'all do! “Rented out the little house for a party on Thursday 6/6 evening with food and drinks and had a blast. The wait staff was fantastic and friendly and all we had to do was show up and order. “Great find on east side of campus. Cafeteria style lunch / dinner. All vegan / macrobiotic. Very tasty. Meal came with beans, grains, salad, vegetables and soup. Various teas included in price. Relaxed atmosphere, nice vibes. Very healthful meal. Definitely recommended.“

This loaction does follow the dusturbing trend of asking for a tip for counter service, but at least it wasn't difficult to opt out of, and the minimum was set to 5% - much more reasonable than some other places. Difficult area to park in, but if you are already on the UT campus, it is convenient. Would visit again.“

“We are staying in the Domain for the weekend. We arrived at dinner time on a Friday. We walked into the Plank and immediately sat at the bar. We had the Boiled Oysters and a Spicy Tuna Sushi roll. Both were excellent! The vibe was quiet, with the restaurant about 30% full. Our bartender was average; he may have been busy as the only bartender. The Plank isn’t a bad choice if you are looking for seafood.“

As a vegetarian I never know if there will be anything more substantial than fried snacks for me to eat at casual places like this, but the veggie sandwich was SO good and the vegan soft serve was a nice sweet finish. The meat eaters and non drinkers in the group were also pleased with the offerings. Already trying to plan our next trip back!

“1000 times, YES. The chicken is delicious--the best chicken I've ever eaten--the portions are huge and the sides, banana pudding, cesar salad, fries. All delicious. The hand-made sauces range in heat and are all in-freaking-credible. 5-stars!“

The salmon was flavorful but overcooked as it was pretty firm.

“Had brunch here today. I had the American breakfast and my wife had a French dip. Both were outstanding! I would rank the American breakfast as one of the best if not the best in Austin. There’s a well known breakfast place nearby but it can’t compare to Teddy’s. The French dip is also one of the best. Highly recommend that everyone gives Teddy’s a try. You will not be disappointed!“

“The staff at this location is AWESOME! We were greeted immediately on arrival, as were all other patrons. Each staff member had a great sunny personality and seemed happy to be working together. I wasn’t crazy for the chicken in my spicy bacon bowl, but the whipped feta dip & herbed focaccia is a MUST and for $5 you cannot beat it. It’s so nice to go to a place & the staff be genuinely nice and have real personalities. It makes dining out a fun experience .“
