“We made a reservation here for my boyfriend’s birthday and had an amazing time! We sat outside on the deck, and the ambiance was great. The sourdough and smoked salmon dip was delicious and everyone loved their entrees. Molly, our server, was absolutely fantastic! She brought a dessert out for my boyfriend with a candle at the end of our meal and played a harmonica while we sang happy birthday. We couldn’t have asked for a better night. Will be back again!“

“Visiting from Houston, a group of us stopped in before our river weekend to check the place out because we frequently go dancing.

I personally love minors being involved in dancing, they need to learn somewhere! Lots of line dancing and dancing in general.

Why on earth don’t they have water coolers for the dancers? I bartend in one and frequent others in our city and almost all of them supply free water coolers and cups to stay hydrated.

It was overall a good vibe, some of the bartenders seem to pour short but if an ounce of liquor is their standard pour, maybe get a beer or seltzer where the alcohol content is consistent.

Door man from “the Deep South” was honestly the best part both letting us in the venue and on our way out. Give that man a hefty Christmas bonus, pls.“

“This place is absolutely awesome. The bartenders are super friendly, the atmosphere is so welcoming. I’m a big fan of their outdoor seating with a fire pit, lots of beautiful lights & screens. They have various games like ping pong & corn hole that’s just so entertaining. Their new menu is just delicious too! As a new resident of Buda TX, this is the perfect spot to enjoy an evening out with friends or alone 🤗✨.“

“We stopped by at this place for a business. I was very surprised to find a beautiful place, grand hosts and delicious apple cider 😋. The place is so beautiful and is nice for a family hang out time!“

“Well I would say yes & no! Nice place but the way the tables are set up is horrible. There isn’t a stage so if you are sitting at the small tables you can’t see the band that is performing because the higher table are in front. I think that the higher tables should go against the wall where the picnic table is or towards the back and the smaller tables should be up front. There are some people who are unable to sit and the higher tables but are unable to see the band other then that’s it’s a pretty nice place.“

“I loved everything about this restaurant! Atmosphere, food and especially the customer service! I just wanted to give a shout out to the Manager Jesus. His engagement with my husband and I was the best. And for him we will continue on coming in. We live in Dripping Springs and drove all the way there to have lunch. We left feeling so happy. Just food for thought please open a restaurant in Dripping Springs. We have to drive 45min to an hour outside of Dripping just to have a nice lunch.“

“Great down home Austin beer and cocktails spot. This place is huge and you can always find your own corner. Plenty of TV’s with all the premium sports channels. Dozens of Great selection of beers. “I don't get out often and I'm not much on being around large groups of people. But for being my first time here I was definitely impressed and I will definitely be coming back . Great service staff is very helpful and attentive food is good and reasonably priced. And the atmosphere is phenomenal and that's coming from an introvert lol. “Great smoked meat, hot off the griddle tortillas, and good guacamole. What more could you ask for? I went here twice in 3 days. the first time I got the smoked brisket plate. The brisket was wonderfully smoky. The second time I got the smoked goat and it was tender and delicious. The tortillas are so fresh that they're still puffy when they bring them to the table. If you don't live nearby, take a drive and get some great food at Antiguo!“

“My niece & I went out for drinks and dinner at Lala's South Pole off Davis Lane in South Austin. What a hidden gem this place is :-)
I've never been there before and was so happily surprised by the Christmas decorations. It was wonderful. The atmosphere is great.
The bartender, Rudy and the lady Bailey behind the bar were very welcoming, friendly and answered questions regarding drinks. And my niece has been there before but they were very kind to me, Aunt Rose. The Deadly Nightshade & Wormswort specialty drinks and the rum and coke were very tasty , & delicious drinks.
Also the cook Ricardo, he was nice too. We had a delicious Caesar salad and the pizza pie was fantastic.
And we had an appetizer of wings. We sat outside. It was a beautiful evening on October 21st. We will definitely be back again soon.“

“If you're into two stepping in live country music, this place is excellent. They do usually have a bit of a small cover somewhere between 5 and 10 bucks mostly. But I think a lot of that goes to the band.

Atmosphere is rustic, country western as designed,

The bar has several drafts and can also make decent cocktails.

They have a big back patio area with food trucks available.

This place is really about the dancing and the two stepping. Go check out the live music, have a beer and have some fun.“

“Saw Fat Tony a few weeks back. my first show in 8 months. Awesome show. But also fantastic venue. Sound was great as was the speed to get a drink or use the facilities. Was happy to see how safe and attentive the staff was. They were great about enforcing social distancing with utmost politeness. Love the awesome murals behind the stage by Eye Dr. Beautiful and triply. 👁 def impressed my date who’s new to Austin and hadn’t been able to see any live music yet. I’ve been keeping an eye out for my next show. Will def try the food next time as it looked amazing.“

That said, many of the employees were taking shots during my visit, which made the service feel unprofessional and inconsistent. As someone who’s worked as a server in the past, I’d hate to see such a good restaurant’s reputation affected by lapses in professionalism.

I’d still return for the food, but hope management keeps an eye on maintaining proper standards.“

They have legit Starbucks coffee here and a breakfast & dinner Bistro.

“I've had plenty of saké, but none quite like this! They brew their own saké, in house, to perfection, as well as import some really fine saké. Tried their saké bomb which was a shot of their own saké dropped into a rice lager that they make (which is also incredible). Also tried two unique drinks that I doubt you could find anywhere else: a dairy free saké based eggnog and a rice beer Oktoberfest style. If you make it in time for these seasonal drinks, they are well worth the money! Cute space, welcoming staff. Big shout out to Pete for being a very informative, helpful, and kind bartender! “I had great time having dinner with my husband. We were immediately greeted when we walked in and sat near the bar. Alexis was the bartender and our waitress and did an amazing job. The restaurant was busy a lot people were dining. Our drinks appetizers and food came out in short time considering the crowd. The ribs were delicious fall off the bone. We did miss the corn but the mushrooms were so good. Over all we had awesome dining experience and definitely will come back to this location.“
