“Wonderful food my husband and I frequent this place however my last experience tonight, was bad the staff is rude and unprofessional. One team member in general was cussing the whole time we dined in bashing the place tell another customer he liked working here because it was never busy and he could do what he wanted. That was all after I asked for my sauce on side as to not make my biscuit soggy (which I know happens from experience) he said it won’t get soggy but whatever.“

We were in town for a concert and just happened to find CAPT when looking to make a reservation. Soooooooo glad I found it. All four of us fell in love. The Pig Pizza was amazing! The crust was absolutely perfect, may be the best pizza we've ever had. Our friends had the Veggie on Cauliflower crust and said it was terrific...but after trying our Pig pizza, they also agreed the crust was amazing and prob the best they've had. The HH Old Fashioned was delicious! It wad a perfect balance of sweet, sour, bourbon. The artisan tonic water they used in the voda-tonic made all the difference apparently cause it was just soo smooth and tasty. Everything we had was fantastic. And not to be left out, the service was outstanding. From hostess stand to waiter to bartenders, top notch. Pleeeeeeease open one in Cypress! This is a must have,, anytime we are up in the Las Colinas area from now on.“

Drinks hit the table fast, and after a long day podcasting at DFW distilleries, my wife ordered the “Smash That” bourbon cocktail, while I cooled off with a bold and refreshing Texas Mule. Both hit the spot. Then came the Hillview Court Bean Dip—courtesy of Rob and Amy—and it was smashing delicious. Rich, flavorful, and the perfect start to the meal. I went with a perfectly seared prime ribeye, served with fresh veggies and a crisp salad. Cooked just right, packed with flavor. My wife ordered the Thai Shrimp Tacos, and that sauce? It made them pop—a spicy-sweet punch that brought the dish to life. We closed the night with homemade cheesecake and their decadent bourbon bread pudding—a dessert pairing that could make a grown man tear up. And to finish? “Absolutely love the pizzas here!! The unique variety they offer takes pizza to the next level. I do have 3 issues pertaining to service though. 1. We had to ask for a couple specific pizzas to be brought to our table because they hadn't been offered while others were brought multiple times. 2. They don't inform you of their auto-gratuity policy when checking in for your reservation, nor upon giving you the bill. I would have expected better service when you're predetermining your own tip. 3. We also were asked to vacate our table for the next reservation while we were still actively spending money on after dinner drinks. These are all simple fixes on their end and I hope they can communicate better in the future.“

But now, living in DFW for a decade,searching high and low for great, salt of the earth Mexican cuisine -honestly this is the best in DFW.

You get more than you paid for in service and quality and best of all the place is unassuming.

Coming sporadically for 10 years, the quality never fails.

The only thing I see that can improve is the lighting...it's a little too dark in the restaurant.“

“After a 10hour flight from Spain to DFW airport I was tired and wanted something delicious with a 3hour layover wait. I walked in and received excellent service my drink Jack Daniel’s straight on the rocks my meal Shrimp and Scallops pasta was phenomenal . Binju suggested the parrillada, and I ordered it with shrimp and sausage. It was amazing—full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We also tried the chimichangas based on her suggestion, and they were delicious! Crispy on the outside and tasty inside, I really enjoyed them.

The service was quick and attentive, and Binju was very patient with us throughout the meal. Although today wasn’t happy hour, we’ll definitely be back soon to enjoy that and try more dishes. Highly recommend!“
