“This is a small eating place not far from the DonWes flea market on the opposite side of Business 83. Food is very good, and they have some great specials! We especially like the fried shrimp and Basa fish plates! The soup is excellent, too! Everyone we have taken there likes it!“

“I have to say, this place has some of the BEST seafood we’ve had in the Valley! I ordered the shrimp tacos, and hands down they are the best I’ve ever tried—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. We also had the fried tilapia, and it completely stood out compared to other places. Most restaurants serve tilapia that tastes oily or like burnt oil, but here it was fried perfectly—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and absolutely delicious without any burnt taste.

I also ordered a tostada, and it was so good that I ate it before I even remembered to take a picture! That says everything about how tasty it was.

Overall, the food here is fresh, clean, and packed with flavor. If you’re in San Carlos or nearby, you HAVE to stop by Mariscos Los Dos Carnales—you won’t regret it!“

“Tonia, presented me with thier famous pozole. I am a very critical person when it comes to Pozole. It was DELICIOUS !!! Plate presentation was SUPERB, and everything I wanted, they provided !!! The service Tonia provided was PERFECT !!! I highly recommend this restaurant . Place is clean and Tv playing Mexican videos …. This is our 3rd time here, & every time we try something new. “Walking in the whole place was filled with Halloween decor which was pretty cool! Was greeted right away and sat quickly. Ordered a beer while I looked at the menu and mentioned I saw their tostada special. The waitress was very informative in telling me what was on the tostadas and made a couple of recommendations. I got the aguachile negro and I got the tropical scallop tostada. They were delicious! Both were really good but once I finished with both of them I ordered another of the tropical one, that one was epic. Ordered a shrimp cocktail and a vampiro to go and it was ready in a timely fashion. I don't know why someone in the reviews complained about the price point. Everything here is reasonable priced and the 2.50 tostadas I got were loaded! Easy 5-7 dollars anywhere else. Needless to say I was extremely pleased with this place and I will definitely be a regular. Can't wait to get back. Wish y'all much success!!!“

“We had heard about this place that they have very good seafood and with my craving for fresh fried fish that I haven't been satisfied anywhere here in the mid-valley, so we stopped there and found out.... and boy did it satisfy it. Now I took off one star cuz the environment needs a little fixing. A lil facelift here and there and it will look classy to go wit the meals. Their presentation of the food was impressive.“

“Casa de Marisco is a staple in Weslaco. Don't let the name fool you. It isn't just seafood they serve here. But they have an awesome shrimp cocktail and the Tierra y Mar dishes are an awesome choice for those who want fried shrimp and fish while also hitting the spot for the chicken and beef fajitas. I always recommend it when asked for a good place to eat. This is my botana place. The botanita (for one) easily feeds 2 or 3. So much food. It's been a while since I've dined in but I see some familiar faces and they've always had great service. KEEP IT UP GUYS!!!“
