“Be prepared to wait - but it’s definitely worth it. We got there just after 9 am on a Friday and we got our food right at noon, so we spent an hour in line after they technically opened. We ordered basically one of everything off the menu and that was the way to do it. Everything was phenomenal! Truly cannot recommend their ribs enough. They were some of the best ribs I’ve ever eaten in my life. And their sides are great too! I loved the beans and their coleslaw.“
“I have been here twice now and the food and service is so good! We love the pulled pork loco moco style and the firecracker chicken/shrimp. The corn is fantastic and the aloha sauce is really really good. The staff treats you like family and the atmosphere is fantastic, very chill vibe and has a play area for kids. “Our first time here! We were a group of three. We ordered the three meat plate with brisket, turkey, and pulled pork. We also chose fhe Mac and cheese and potato salad as our sides. We added the pinto beans, side salad, and small potato skins to share.The turkey was the favorite out of the meats. I enjoyed the Mac and cheese the best but the other two people preferred the beans. The potato skins were not what I imagined (they were like nachos made out of potato skins) but the table agreed they were very good. The other people think they would have been better without the queso. I'm not sure.We arrived around 11:30 on a Saturday. There was no line and it was quick to order. The cashier was happy to answer questions. The food arrived quickly.Pretty much immediately after we picked up our food a long line developed. It just kept getting longer and longer.“

“This place is fantastic. Food is 5 stars+ and on par with the best BBQ joints in DFW. The brisket is out of this world, possibly the best in NTX area. The beef sausage is equally as good, as are the sides. Mac n Cheese, Potato Salad, Corn, etc. I'm only giving it 4 Stars because of the service. There's only one person taking orders for the entire place and then it takes a solid 15-20mins to get your order after that. Every other top BBQ place in DFW you order at the counter and get your food as you pay. The food is fantastic but the fact that after you order you still have to wait 20mins to get your food... it's not the greatest.“
“Went for breakfast and had a great experience. Staff were friendly, food was brought out quickly, and tasted great. The chilaquiles was a standout dish. Even got to enjoy watching The Lone Ranger while we sipped on the complimentary coffee. Got out of there with two breakfasts, two coffees, and an OJ for just over $30 which I feel is pretty rare these days. I can't wait to go back and try their lunch/dinner menu.“
“This was some good BBQ. I had the chopped brisket sandwich and potato salad & both were good. Wife had some sliced brisket and enjoyed that. Another of our party had the sausage and it wasn't that good. Keep in mind bbq taste is mostly a preference and one may like it and another not. I can't comment on the sausage. The peach cobbler was great. We also had the jalapeño poppers which I could have made a meal from...fantastic. I would most definitely try this place again. Heard some foul language coming from the kitchen...don't care for that and makes the place seem a little unprofessional imo.“
“This place really has me speechless. I don't usually get burgers at BBQ joints, but man this was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Service was a taddd slow but nothing concerning. There were a lot of people there and I arrived only 30 minutes after they opened. That shows you how good this place is. The restaurant can get a little loud but there's a nice patio that is also pet friendly.“

“This place has been in burleson for awhile and never disappoints from the Kimchi burritos to the Rice bowls and Boba. Service is always stellar! I’ve notice they are always respectful, attentive and caring. “Delicious barbecue! Being our first time, we weren't sure what to order. The staff recommended the sausage & even gave us some samples of sausage to try. We enjoyed it so much, we ordered the sausage plate & sandwich with sausage & pulled pork. We both got baked potatoes with all the toppings, as well as sides of creamed corn & green beans to share. We ended up taking the baked potatoes home.A nice surprise to see that soft serve ice cream in cones is included with the purchase of every order. It's the perfect palette cleanser & way to top a meal.“
“Came in during a super busy time and was very happy to see this place was so welcoming and efficient!! We were seated quickly and our waitress was extremely friendly. Even though every table in the house was full, she was constantly checking in and never once forgot about us. The food was hot and delicious. “This is the first time I've been to this location - have experienced Hard Eight in a couple different locations before. The food is always excellent but this one stood out because there was one staff member that went above and beyond with each of us in our group. I'm assuming it was a manager and he was so very kind to our baseball players (we had a team dinner there) and parents !“

“Great bang for the buck BBQ place in Fort Worth. Not the best I've had, but excellent value, so my scoring is based on the price point. I got a 2 meat plate, with ribs, brisket, potato salad, and Mac n cheese. Add a large craft beer, and my total was 24.99, after tax. The flavor profile on the meat was excellent. Could have been a little moister, so I wonder how fresh it was... But the flavor was good enough that I used very minimal sauce. My sides were fine, nothing special, and no complaints. Beer selection was good, both draft and bottles. Common American beers and some local crafts. Service was counter service for ordering, but they have people walking around to ask if you need anything. Everyone was polite and friendly. Def check this place out if you are looking for a no frills BBQ place.“
