“i really like the food
we ordered two different bases and got the non spicy and regular mixed, but the non spicy (tomato) honestly really overpowered the other flavors and it just tasted like the whole broth was the non spicy, i didnt taste any of the sauerkraut in it and that was disappointing
i am a huge fan of the milk mochi though thats really really good i recommend getting it“

“I was amazed by how it taste: the lamb skew, fried noodles, the grilled veggies, tendons and everything that we ordered. I spent years in Beijing and this place even beats most places back in china, I guarantee you. I would definitely come back every chance I get.“

“We came here just shy of closing time around 8:30 pm but the host kindly seated us. Even though they were in a rush for the last call, we ordered quite a few dishes and they came out in record time.
We got the veg and shrimp steamed dumplings. Both expertly made although my only comment would be that the filling was slightly under seasoned.
The stir fried green beans were perfection. Lightly crunchy, savoury and slightly sweet. Similarly we had the silky scallion oil noodles that was smooth, nutty and perfectly savoury.
Finally, we got the deep fried bao with condensed milk. Like a perfectly fluffy yeasty doughnut - it was quite heavy as a dessert but would have been a great take home snack!
Excellent service and cute atmosphere!“

“No. 1 Noodles Allen never disappoints! The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and fast from start to finish. The food was just as impressive—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
The standout for me was the black pepper noodles—they were absolutely delicious with the perfect balance of spice and savory flavor. Definitely a must-try!
Great experience all around. I’ll definitely be back!“

“This review is for delivery. Ordered the pan fried pork buns, assortment of steamed dumplings, and the glutinous rice ball (with sesame) soup. Everything was delicious and visually appealing. I wished the pork buns had a crispier bottom, but the flavor and amount of juice inside was excellent.“

“If you’re looking for authentic duck, this is the spot. The skin was thin, crispy, and full of flavor. But what made the night special was the service. The owner is a man of a different time—so kind and attentive. He walked us through the menu and made sure our experience was perfect. It’s rare to find food this good paired with such genuine heart.“

“We (wife and I) were at Marble Dental two doors down yesetrday and decided to check out Rice Garden for the first time. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. My wife and I had the combo with meat and chicken (opted out of the shrimp) and with jalapenos in the brown rice. Very delicious.
The meal was more than ample for us to split. We also got two small bowls of the hot and sour soup ($2.99 each) and I must say it was the best hot and sour soup I have ever tasted/eaten. Very hearty and tasty. I'm thinking about it right now. Would be nice to have a bucket of it in the refrigerator at home to get through the cold winter days and nights. :-) Definitely will be back to Rice Garden.“

“The BEST ever chinese pork burger! Freshly made buns. Very good texture. And the chopped pork tastes soooo GOOD!
Also, the dry noodles with soybean paste are so chewy and tasty. Handmade noodles!

“This place felt like a hidden gem for Hunan cuisine lovers! The flavors hit hard—bold, spicy, and full of that smoky wok magic. Honestly, they don’t hold back on the heat, but it’s so satisfying you won’t care. The kind of spot where the dishes feel like they’ve been made with heart. Service was casual but chill, like they actually enjoy having you there. If you’re into dishes that pack a punch and want something low-key but memorable, this is it. The vibe just works.“

“Very late to the hotpot party as I know this location has been here for awhile! Been going around the suburbs trying out all the hot pot places like HaiDiLao, Nan, Liuyishou, Shoo Loong Kan, etc.
This place had a refreshingly simple and straight forward pricing. The price included everything so broth and sauces weren't extra like some of the other places and that made the value aspect nicer! We also loved how thick the meat was sliced, definitely noticeabley thicker than some of the other places.
Service was solid too and we would recommend this place to anyone!“

“This is a jewel of a restaurant! Spring rolls were crisp and delicious, broccoli beef was tender and broccoli had a nice flavor on its own. Sweet and sour pork was top notch. Subtle soft music gave a nice background for a truly memorable meal.“

“This is hands down some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in my entire life, and I don’t say that lightly. The food is always hot, fresh, and ready fast every single time we come in. It’s a family-owned business, which makes it even better knowing you’re supporting a local family but even without that, the quality of the food is absolutely phenomenal.
You don’t need to dress fancy or make it a whole thing—this place has such a comfortable, chill, homey feel. Me, my fiancé, and my sister have been coming here once or twice a week for months, and somehow it never misses. Ever. Everything tastes amazing every single time without fail, which is rare. And on top of that, it is generally speaking a very affordable place.
Easily a 10/10. Highly, highly recommend. If you’re thinking about trying it do it. You won’t regret it.“

“The food was good. hot, fresh, and flavorful. We ordered the General Tso’s chicken and the sesame chicken. I was a little surprised by the batter on the crispy chicken, it reminded me more of a sweet and sour tempura style rather than the usual coating. but it was still delicious! The only small drawback was the portion size of the fried rice that came with it, which was pretty small. Other than that, everything was very tasty!“

“The food is good and the prices are ok. I have been coming to this location for years. The last two times they did not have the dishes I ordered. I asked for snow pea chicken and was told no snow peas. I asked for pork with garlic and they gave me broccoli stems instead of bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. Very disappointed. My wife and sons dishes were good and the soup is good too. This is a good place to eat if they have the ingredients.“

“It was such a fun experience sharing the food around the table. The food was amazing and they were able to work around my gluten allergy. I had chicken and broccoli with a side of sticky rice and it was very tasty for this celiac. Thank you for a wonderful experience.“

“I don’t know how this place gets anything less than 5 stars. The owners are super friendly (and they recognize me and know my voice!), the food is good, and you get a lot of it. It’s comfort food for me, and when I don’t want to cook this is the first place I think of.“

“The lady was annoyed with me once I got my take out order bc I asked for soy sauce, mind you it was my first time there and everything looked so good, I like a little substitution sometimes... I wasn't rude though. Lol dang... The food was fire 🔥 though, I'd go back and order from her short answer giving self!“
“Took our family of 10 here and were seated immediately, which was a great start. We had a few people in our group who needed gluten-free options, and the staff was very helpful in confirming which dishes could be modified. It would be even better if those options were clearly labeled on the menu. The food came out quickly and everything was excellent. Standouts included the egg drop soup with crispy wontons, chicken dumplings, Mongolian beef, Kung Pao chicken, green beans, garlic edamame, and the three-flavored chicken. Every dish was flavorful and well prepared. Also a big plus that the restaurant is halal.
Overall, a fantastic experience. Great service, great food, and we will definitely be back soon!“

“These people really get it when it comes to serving Szechuan style food to round eyes. My wife and I hit this place most Sundays after church and it remains a treat. I like the tendons. I like the tripe. I like the tongue. Almost everything they've got is top shelf and well made and actually has some Szechuan seasoning which is what I'm looking for. Don't miss the dumplings either. They have two kinds and they're both killer... Killer staph is attentive but unobtrusive. If you're hankering for some Szechuan food at lunch or dinner, this is your new go-to... 100% worth a shot.“

“i just went to get to-go at TKS and it was also the very first time eating food from there. service was great, they spoke mandarin and was super polite and quick at the cashier. order dim sum and salt and pepper fried tofu that my wife loves. got home and ate the food and the quality of the dim sum were good and the tofu was great! this will be a go-to spot from now on and it's dangerous that it is located less than 5 minutes from my house. i foresee dim sum on the regular from here instead of driving all the way to Richardson for Golden Joy. 2 thumbs up. highly recommended to dim sum lovers and lovers of awesome chinese foood.“

“We ordered takeout a few nights ago and were quite satisfied with everything we got. The menu is mid-sized, but there are a TON of customizations you can make for every dish--well done, extra meat, spice level, added ingredients, etc--and our order was ready super quick! I ordered Szechuan shrimp and it was LOADED with shrimp! We received complementary fried wonton strips with each entrée. The gentleman at the counter also made sure we got our drinks which was very nice.
Ordering through their website gives you a decent discount, to boot, but did take a little getting used to. This place is open a bit later than all the other Chinese restaurants, so I can imagine we'll be ordering here often.“
“I'm from Northeast China, so it was a pleasant surprise to find this place in the zTao market food court. My only complaint is the pork meat pie. There was barely any filling inside. Just a very thin layer. It was basically all dough. The fried pork buns, on the other hand, were full and flavorful. Overall, everything looked homemade, and I'd definitely come again.“

“Atmospherenis great. This was where China Pearl was supposed to be but I guess they bought them out.
I love the Cantonese Aunties. Some servers speak Cantonese and Mandarin so just soeak your tongue. 🤣 The youngernkids speaks only English. Theyre genuinely so kind and nice. I would come back for their service.
The food isnt that memorable. Its similar to Kirin Court Richardson. Not much dim sum option as the Richardson but food is still decent.
Im glad they open a Plano location because its more spacious both inside and outside parking.
We made a reservation for 10 people last month and they have it.“

“My family and I have been going here for 8 years every Saturday, their Won Ton soup is amazing! I know the lady at the front desk, the staff there is very nice and I just love coming here every weekend. I do miss their old location right next door, mainly because of how nostalgic it was but I still adore coming here! Lovely respectful workers and great food thank you guys for everything and all the memories I made ❤️“

“This has been a place for family or friends gathering when we are carving for traditional Chinese food. Good portions with very reasonable price. Dishes are delicious, even simple ones like sautéed green beans and eggplant. Pretty much we order more than we can eat so that we can box leftovers to enjoy later. Services are as good as expected as a comfortable food place, appreciate that they are happy to recommend.“

“I had their wonton along with some side dishes (seaweed and bean curd). Also bought some beef patties and baos. If you spend more than $10, you get free soy milk and soup, which are self serve. The soy milk and hot and sour soup were delicious. Their sweet baos and soy milk do not come with added sugar, so everything is in very neutral state; you have to add it yourself. They have a big menu with lots of choices, so I can’t wait to try other dishes. They are northern Chinese and speak a certain way that may come off as rude, but it’s just the way they speak. With that cultural understanding, we had no issues. This is a food stall at ztao food court. They give you a pager for when the food is ready. You can sit anywhere, and there are trash cans to return food tray when finished.“

“This hidden gem was a great find. I swung by here for lunch and there was no wait. It has a cool vibe, but you can really tell it looks so much cooler at night, can't wait to check it out. I went with a classic Combination Fried Rice, and you know you have a great meal when you dont have to add any sauce or other seasonings to it, and this was extremely tasty. I also got a chicken egg roll, but I think the best part of the meal had to be the Pork Belly skwer! It had a flavorful savory/tangy punch to it, and the meat just melted in my mouth. A definite must have!“

“We found a Groupon for here and decided to try it… glad we did 😊
The food was very good. I had Hot and Sour Soup (it’s complimentary if dining in), the Avocado Roll, and Kung Pao Chicken. Huge portions of the KPC, enough to bring 1/2 home for lunch the next day.
We were surprised not that many dining in, but they were VERY busy with takeout orders.
We will go back for sure.“

“I lived in McKinney for a bit and this was my go-to place for Chinese takeout. The food is always excellent and the delivery was so fast. I have a lot of weird dietary restrictions so would often ask for certain ingredients to be removed or adjusted, and everything always showed up EXACTLY how I requested.“
