“First time visiting and I wasnt disappointed. Atmosphere was nice. Even had someone meet us at the door to let us in. Shockingly, it wasn't crowded for it to be a Saturday night but that's a plus for me. Food was bomb, drink was so good that it drunked me hell . Our server was great(Ella) I think that was her name. “Pappadeaux at DFW is an escape from the chaos of the airport. The food is excellent, and the service is even better! Miguel provided great service, and the manager accommodated my shellfish allergy and made this a 5/5 experience. Highly recommend stopping by if you have time!“

“Moved here from south Louisiana last summer, this is the best crawfish I’ve had in a long time. They were massive and flavored perfectly! Service was great and pricing was very reasonable given the current crawfish farming situation. We will be back!“

“Consistently good service and great food. I have been to this location numerous times and overall it is always an enjoyable visit. We started our meal with the calamari appetizer. Calamari is well cooked and the dips it is accompanied by complement the flavors well. For my meal I had the salmon entree with crawfish tails and shrimp. The sauce this entree comes with is the star of the dish. The salmon was cooked well, but the portion size seemed off and smaller than a normal entree at most locations. The green beans side is fairly bland, unless you mix with the sauce on the plate. Service was on point and I never had to wait for a drink. Great spot to grab a bite before a flight. Highly recommend!“

“Shrimp po boy and jambalaya pasta was great!! I didn’t think I’d like this sort of food but it was amazing! Definitely will be going back. Pasta was delicious and so was the po boy, fries were a lil soft for my liking but fiance loved them. They were seasoned well. Server was a lil shy and quiet but overall great experience.“

“During my lunch break, I decided to check this place out. This place is across the street from a high school. I said if there are a lot of teens in here , the food will most likely will be good.I walked in and there were quite a few teens. I asked a group of boys if the chicken is good, they all immediately replied yes.The chicken, fries was seasoned very well and fresh. I went back after work to take dinner home for my family. “My only complaint is the lady taking the order was in her bonnet. She was very nice. No atmosphere as it's pickup only. Food was the bomb! Had macaroni and cheese stuffed leg and it was everything! Hush puppies were a little dry, but had flavor.“

The fish was cooked and seasoned to a great perfection, the hush puppies made the meal even better. Only complaint is you only get 2 ?. The theme here is incredible, with all of the fish and photos on the walls. I honestly didn’t expect this little restaurant to reel me in, but it is definitely the best fish spot in the downtown area.“

“Eating here is an absolute pleasure. I came with friends, and we had the shrimp etouffee, seafood combo basket, fried chicken basket, and the beignets. The portions were huge and filling, and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. The shrimp etouffee was rich, well spiced, and generous with the shrimp; the fried baskets were fresh and not greasy; and the beignets were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. You can really tell that the awesome chef/owner has spent almost half of his life in New Orleans from how it tastes. It's really properly home cooked food, and was well worth the drive from UTD. “They had Louisana Hot Sauce, so they start off with 4 stars just for that. The boudin balls were delicious. I could have done without the mustard sauce, but I guess it depends on your preference. It was my first time having gumbo, and it was ??. In the event my wife gets sick, she wants me to come get her gumbo from here. She is aware that we live 25 minutes away. She said it's that good. Fish was crispy, hot, and fresh. This is a nice spot to check out!!“

“I have eaten here twice with my family and both times were a great experience. The food was delicious and well portioned and the cook Jose was super friendly and definitely had our food on point. “Met some friends here for dinner. The 4 of us got the sack #9 and we ate till we couldn't possibly eat any more. It was an amazing amount of food.My favorites were the lobster tails, and the sausage... But that's not to say that everything that arrived at our table wasn't absolutely top notch. The seasoning and spice level was perfect in my opinion.The staff was very attentive with checking on us and refilling our drinks. The atmosphere was pretty chill. The bathrooms were clean. “Completely amazing. Our server was David he served me and my grandfather the night we came. We ordered a crawfish, shrimp, potato, corn, and crab bowl and he warned us that the amount of food would have been a lot which was good because we wouldn’t have been able to eat 2 bowls if we ordered separately. He engaged in conversation with us and all in all was actually a pretty cool guy. He stopped by our table like 50 times? which was good because he was making sure we didn’t need anything. Definitely one of my favorite servers in my life and I’ve been to some top need places. He’s what I feel the ideal server should be. Food was exquisite and you know it was good cause me and my grandfather ain’t say a word the whole time we ate beside the occasional *grunt* and nod of our heads to signal that the food was great. “Owned by Flava Flav, it's hard not to like the amazing Flavas coming from this truck. A mix of seductive Soul Food with Cajun flair, very nice people, very good at recommending things, and the 2 or 3 different dishes we've tried so far have been spectacular. Part of the Food Truck Park on the south side of Westheimer just a little bit West of Hillcroft/Voss, east of Fondren. It's a mostly Mid-Eastern food park with some of the best Iraqi and Turkish food in the entire State. But there are other amazing items on offer here, and Flava is one of them. “I picked up my friend from her job. We went to eat at Rockfish before I took her home. I had never eaten there but I can say the food was great. I had the fried shrimp basket. I would have liked the french fries a little crispier. The jalapeno hush puppies were very good, not too spicy.
