“Dare I say that this spot rivals LSA Burger in terms of taste, and LSA has some of the best burgers I've ever had.
I ordered 2 sliders for $14, the Main Street and the Rail Sliders. Maria, the chef, cooked the beef to absolute perfection, medium rare, amazingly juicy patties, perfectly complimented with each ingredient. The Main Street used a slight bit of mustard with fried onion strings (basically small strings of onion rings), with cheddar, to create an almost sweet, rich slider. The Rail used cooked onion strings instead, with barbecue sauce and gouda cheese. This made for a much richer, deeply savory slider, one you'll definitely want to eat slowly.
I can't stress enough how well every component was cooked as well as how the all go together to create flavors that are so elegant. I'll definitely be returning. I will say that they are so decadent that you'll probably wish that the slider was a full sized burger instead. Hopefully one day!

“As someone from the Mississippi Delta, I have a fairly high standard when it comes to BBQ (especially brisket and ribs). I groan when someone convinces me to try a spot that “has amazing brisket!” knowing that 19/20 times I am disappointed. I was in Lewisville, TX this week for work and was introduced to Sullivan’s as a place with “some really great BBQ and brisket” I am here to tell you, this bbq/brisket/ribs/sausage is not great… It is OUTSTANDING. The ribs/pork/sides etc. are all a 10/10 in my book… But that brisket…. That brisket is in a league of its own. Without a doubt the BEST brisket I’ve ever had. Perfect tenderness - beautiful smoke ring - exceptional bark - and flavor that is just unbelievable. Even then, with the exceptional quality of food, it pales in comparison to the hospitality of this place. When coming here for the first time, I was immediately treated as if I had been a regular visitor for 20 years. I’ve been 4 times now in 12 days and will surely be back before my return home. Sullivan’s is a prime example of what a local restaurant should and could be and I give my thanks and kudos to the owner and the amazing staff that make an experience like this possible.“

& as many as you want, which is something you can't find at other Bar B Que places. the one I am reviewing has been in business at that same spot for a Very Long Time. At least 15 or so years. So it's nice to see them still in business and going strong. I don't get to dine there very often, but when I do. I know I will have a good experience. The Food is freshly served and Always delicious. The staff there is always friendly and helpful. More than enough Parking spaces. Well lit and a warm atmosphere. Lots of families and some people that are dating tend to dine there. So it's a real pleasure to experience. OKAY so I'm going to add one last thought to this review. I Really miss the excitement and enthusiasm that the staff at Spring Creek used to exhibit. Now days it feels more like a lubys cafeteria or a funeral home. I'm not sure which one. Believe me. I've dined at Spring Creek off and on since at least 2000 and it's just not the same. Not to mention that I spent almost 70.00s for just myself and my girlfriend for two meals. I am seriously thinking about going back to and staying with Hard Eights BBQ, at least there they doesn't feel so.....Dead.“

“Turning Point is one of our favorite breweries in the DFW area and we make it a point to to stop in anytime we are in the area visiting family. Having visited breweries across the US, one thing that is usually lacking in quality 99% of the time is food. I am not sure how long Godspeed has been serving up their delicious BBQ at Turning Point but the brewery should do everything they can to retain them. Godspeed has some of THE BEST brisket I have ever had in my life. It was melt in your mouth good and the bark was perfection. They have bbq sauce available but this is one of those times you should let the meat speak for itself and savor the flavor of it on its own before you douse it in sauce. I promise you will thank me later for this. Also, the beans were FANTASTIC!!! I can understand if y’all don’t want to share the recipe but they were some of the best beans I have ever had! We were hoping to find some fantastic BBQ on our visit and decided to end our at at Turning Point. Who knew we would find some of the best BBQ we have ever had in our entire lives??? The family that runs it is super friendly too. Shout out to the owner’s Dad who was so kind and generous with his time chatting us up! “This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. I highly recommend Manna Shabu & BBQ and can’t wait to come back with my family the next time I’m in town. Thank you for making my first visit such a wonderful one!“

“Five Stars Aren’t Enough – These Ribs Deserve a Standing Ovation!
If heaven had a smokehouse, it would be the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Irving. I walked in expecting a decent meal, but what I got was a life-altering encounter with the most glorious ribs to ever grace a grill.
From the moment they hit the table, the aroma alone was enough to silence every thought in my head. These weren’t just ribs—they were slow-smoked symphonies, each bite an explosion of smoky, tender perfection. The meat? So juicy it practically leapt off the bone in surrender. The bark? A masterclass in caramelized, smoky bliss with just the right whisper of heat. And that sauce—oh, that sauce—it was like sweet Southern poetry with a smoky kick that made my taste buds weep tears of joy.
I don’t know what kind of barbecue sorcery is going on in that kitchen, but whoever’s manning the pit deserves a trophy, a medal, and probably a national holiday. Honestly, after these ribs, I’m questioning every other barbecue experience I’ve ever had. Were those even ribs? Or just sad pretenders to the smoky throne?“

“I was starving when I landed here today so I was already looking up the food places in the airport before we even landed. I almost settled for Subway but instead came to Counsin’s. People always rave about Texas BBQ and every time I’ve had Texas BBQ it was horrible BUTTTTT y’all got the cheat code. Everything was delicious from the pulled pork, to the potatoe salad, and the collard greens. The greens were good and spicy just how I like them 😋“

“Some of the best desi kabobs we’ve had in the Dallas area. Everything was great quality and portions were large. Seating inside is limited and nothing fancy. Only thing I’d add is a sweet chutney like a imli style to pair with some of the kabobs. Definitely visiting often. Oh and it’s right next door to a masjid which is convenient.“

It is one of my absolute favorite restaurants and I have eaten in some of the best restaurants across the globe and I have cooked some of the finest cuisine and Vaqueros in my hometown of Allen Texas beats all of that!
