“I reserved a table for 15 on Sunday and Dominic our server was awesome. They set us up so well in the side room and it was ready on time. The food was amazing and drinks were amazing. Mimosas with different flavors was amazing! We tried the unholy one, meatloaf and it was so good! The staff at front was sweet and our server was so friendly and took great care of every lady and even brought holders for our bags. All of my guests had nothing but great things to say about our server. The manager also stopped by to check on us. Very professional environment. I wish more places were like this. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.“

“I really wasn't sure what to expect for a restaurant inside a northstrom, but we wanted to try something new.
Honestly, it was a great experience. Food was good, chill vibe, good service - I know im spelling it wrong but Ossy was a cool dude.

We went on a Monday evening and the place was dead, which i thought was interesting. In their defense, I think it's more of a place for lunch.“

“Came to San Antonio for a medical appt and met the friendliest staff ever. Katalyna from the bistro bar was awesome. Very helpful with everything and very friendly..very knowledgeable in her area . Kazzandra inbthe front desk was very helpful, courteous, assisted in locations of San Antonio and directions. Jason and Jin also were super friendly and fast with our food items we ordered. Timely manner and on point. Will definitely come back to this location.“

I had even said something about the floor needed sweeping as the hostess sat us. She didnt even bother to come back to address that. We got up and left. If the staff is like that with upkeep upfront, I did not want to know how they maintain their kitchen. I can understand if they were very busy and did not have time but there was a couple of people in the bar area. They could have addressed that. Very dissappointed.“

“You walk in and see a buffet with all the food you could think of. They also have a menu and a kids sections just in case the buffet isn’t enough and they always have plenty of food for everyone. All the employees there are also really nice and greet you as you come in. The only problem is usually the tables have old syrup on them or they are sticky.“

Very chill, casual setup here with comfortable seating and easy to read menus.
I've gotten the mermaid oysters as an appetizer each time. They're delicious and have an extra sweetness to them that most oysters lack. As for main dishes, I am a huge fan of the gumbo here. Probably the best gumbo I've had in Texas. Its incredible. Simple yet full of flavor and perfectly balanced. Not super salty like most others.
Recently we had the coriander fish tacos either bacon, pico de gallo, jalapeños and Chipotle sauce. Omg that was 🤌😘
My wife got the Branzino which was served with broccolini and potatoes. A little more hearty of a meal, and very well prepared.
There hadn't been a miss we've tried yet. I'd definitely give this spot a try if you're in the area and in the mood for some fish! Super easy to order gluten-free here. They have a decent menu of cocktails and a full bar if you're looking to hang out.
