“First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.“

The Insalata Caprese was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! I had the Pollo Bronx Parmigiana and my husband had Fettuccine di Parma with shrimp. The portions are huge!!! Can’t wait to go back!! “Came here for dinner. The food was really good especially the shrimp fried rice! The only issue was the price really got a minimal amount of shrimp even though we asked for double shrimp portions it was like 5 extra shrimp from my husbands order that had 3 items 1 shrimp, 1 mussels, 1 calamari. The calamari was so rubbery it was hard to eat. The flavors of the sauce were decent. Wouldn’t go back since there are tons of other similar style restaurants in the SA area.“

He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. When I finally made it to the right one and explained my mistake, the Hwy 151 team kindly remade my food so I wouldn’t have to eat something that had been sitting for a while — all without me even asking. “Lovely place! Amazing food and service. The owner greeted their guest with welcoming arms. I was able to eat their famous shrimp quesadilla(tacos) along with yummy rice and vegetables. My second dish was their fried oysters with onion rings. The oysters were fried perfectly .with soft crunchy texture. The onion rings were also fried better than most establishments and the skin actually stayed on during eating. The waitresses really were very attentive to their guest which is always a good sign good leadership. Never needed to ask for anything as my waitresses was absolutely divine!. The atmosphere was awesome 👌! They had a large mural on the back wall that depicted the people of the Gulf of Mexico working together on a beach. Whoever the artist was did an amazing job. The inside of restaurant aims for the "By the Sea" theme. They have been in the community for a good long time and it is a testimony to their AMAZING food and service! Thank you Hector!

Nice woman behind the counter hooked me up with a 3 piece fish. Made to order. And I am going to assume it was delicious because my mom didn't seem to have any complaints.“

“Bob's is just what you want a classic steakhouse to be. The service was impeccable (thank you, Paul #2), the steak was cooked perfectly, and crab cakes were delicate and flavorful. They were all booked up, and since we were passing through, we didn't have reservations. But, rather than having to eat at the bar, they found us a little tucked away booth, and treated us like VIPs. “I had heard bad things about Fred's so never ate there. But, once I saw them advertised on Texas Eats, we went to our local Fred's and I was very pleasantly surprised. The facility is so clean--no smells of rancid grease or 'seafood' when you walk in; a nice little eating area; order at the counter. I got Seafood Platter #1, which had three pieces of fish, 2 shrimp, 2 oysters, plenty of white bread, fries and a jalapeno. It was all quite good, piping hot and crispy. I'm glad to know that I can get a simple, fast, tasty, economical seafood dinner close by.“
