There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. I've heard terms like "never had pizza this good", "the service was excellent", "wonderful place." I highly recommend this particular location for events. EXCELLENT.“

“First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! “Awesome diner. We found this gem while visiting San Antonio for 4 days from Arizona. The food was made fresh and was delicious. Very good prices and good portions. If you love diner food this is the spot to go in San Antonio. It's 24 hours which is a good thing also. Donny our server was excellent and provided outstanding customer service. “We took our 9 yr old with some friends for his birthday and the staff was phenomenal! Every single staff member we came in contact with went above and beyond for us. (Note: We did not book a party, we just walked in and free played) I tried to remember names, and I know I forgot some, but the ones I can remember are: Ariel - helped us figure out the best bang for our buck and so friendly! Any questions I had, she answered. Skye - she was great with the kids in laser tag and the prize area. So helpful. James - the kids were waiting for us to finish the transaction and he was helping them do some free play with the games. Right off the bat great service from the time we walked in until we left. Another time James was so helpful was with the ropes course - 2/4 kids were not having it. He tried to convince them they were okay and he wouldn’t let them fall but also let them know they didn’t have to do it if they didn’t want to and helped them back down to the floor. He also had a partner in the ropes course but I forgot his name. He was so nice and polite! James also gave a little gift to my child. Made his day (and ours!!). Ivan - we had an issue with a game and a prize getting stuck. He came over right away and helped and asked if there was anything else he could do for us. Kelvin - he was our waiter in the Bowling area. He was so friendly and always made sure we had what we needed. Helped me with choices on the menu. Great fella! Again, we cannot get over how friendly as well as above and beyond the staff is at Main Event on 1604 & 281! Thank you for making our day! We will definitely be back!!“

“We are from NY and this was our 2nd time in SA, I met your server Ashley across the street & she informed she worked for you. We came for dinner the following evening and Ashley was 1000 amazing! I wasn’t feeling well and she treated me like a Queen. As an ex server myself I must say she was wonderful!!! Best service !! She deserves a raise !! she was perfect in every way. She was the sweetest and kindest person to us. Even got me a water to go for my upset stomach! We will definitely come again when we come back to visit! Ashley you ROCK!!!“

“Last week I was one in a group of twelve who had an amazing experience dining at Ida Claire. All agreed that the food was excellently prepared and tasty. Those of us who ordered bread pudding thought it was wonderful. The service was top notch, thanks to our awesome server King. King was not at all intimidated by the number in our party. We were amazed by the freshness of all the ingredients and the presentation. The quail was exquisite. The beet salad was to die for, and the venison melted in your mouth. The fried oysters and crispy salmon were amazing. All the staff were very attentive, but I must give high praise to our server Catherine, who made our special evening even more special. “J. Alexander's Restaurant converted me from disliking black beans to loving them! Highly recommend adding to your meal their black bean soup flavored with just the right spices! I added rice on the side which is how I was raised...beans and rice. We also added a slice of Key Lime pie which is so huge you can easily split 3-4 ways.“

“This was our first time at Clementine, but it won't be our last! What an amazing experience! Once seated, our server Jason explained the menu and nuances of Clementine. We opted for the 6-course "Feed Me" experience and came away filled, but not bursting. Who'd have thought crunchy kale and crunchy halibut were a thing, and a thing done to perfection! The service was also amazing. We couldn't take 2 sips from our water glasses without having one of the servers fill our glasses. Servers rotated bringing our courses, and in the course of the night, pun intended, we got to meet all of them. Service was, again, amazing. Important note: don't just drop in; you'll need a reservation. We were the first ones to arrive, but by the time we left, most of the tables were occupied. “We visited J. Alexander's for the first time, and it was a great experience. It's only about a 6-minute drive from La Cantera Mall. The restaurant had a clean, elegant, and upscale atmosphere, and the host, server, and manager were all friendly and attentive.

We tried some of their most popular dishes—Old Fashioned Cheeseburger, Steak & Fries, and Thai Chicken Kai Salad, and everything was delicious. The fries were incredibly thin and unique. We originally ordered the steak medium, but it came out looking well done. After we mentioned it, they promptly made us a new one, and the service was excellent. My son even said it was the best steak he's ever had. We would definitely come back.“

The owner is usually around to say hello and thank us for coming. Very few places serve as many types of veggies and unusual sides as 410 Diner. Fish to Filets-they have it all/or most of it.“
