“The food is so freaking good! We had brunch recently and from the cocktails, pastry, main entree to dessert everything was delicious! Highly recommend the scallops with the leek risotto. Don't get me started on the pastry board and berries & cream...so yummy. Their dinner service is also devine! It was worth every penny!! Make sure to make a reservation“
“Cappy’s is hands down my favorite restaurant in San Antonio and I make a point to come every time I visit. You can’t go wrong with the mustang chicken and the crispy brussel sprouts are to die for.My young daughter would be upset with me if I didn’t mention her favorite part of the meal— the delicious bread they serve before the meal. Our waitress was kind enough to box up an extra loaf for her to take home when she realized kiddo was adamant about bringing home the last small piece.Make reservations, you need them!“
“Had a couple drink that came out super quick as well as the Nashville chicken sandwich it was great the service here was above and beyond make sure yall ask for Bella when you come out she really quick and great to talk to even during a rush she made time to have conversations“
“This is a beautiful fine dining restaurant with excellent service. The food is good. I enjoyed the Brussels sprouts, hummus, and in house made, flat bread. The salad with salmon was very good as well, and the crab cake. The crab cake is delicious, but the order comes with one cake only.“
“Been going to Willie's for along time, lately I've noticed it has been hit and miss. But today they were great. Great service and management. We had 11 in our party, 2 babies, 2 elderly folks. Thanks ya'llDietary restrictions: Accommodation for non-dairy.“
“The food is excellent, especially the mole enchiladas. My only knock on this place is that it's LOUD. Eating in the little dining room is like eating in a New York subway terminal. And to make it even worse they insist on playing loud music. It's SO loud you can't enjoy your food.If you want to have a conversation with your dining partners, try to snag a table in the bar (and when has dining in the bar been quieter than the dining room?) or even better on the patio.Wheelchair accessibility: Most of the restaurants are easily accessible. Unfortunately, there are only two handicapped parking spaces. I'm not sure how they get away with that.“
“This was my last meal on my visit to San Antonio, and boy it didn't disappoint. The food and service were excellent! I had breakfast on that visit. I can't wait to come back and try lunch or dinner at this restaurant. 5 stars all the way!“
“It’s very refreshing. When you go into a restaurant and you’re waitress like we had to attended us here and her name was Carina, even during lunch rush hour, she made sure we were ok and didn’t need anything. And was very kind and very attentive.“
“Amazing gluts and service for a local they thought was a country bumpkin!OUTSTANDING sweet, coffee flavored water for asthma!Way too loud, for me, because I've always used live cartridges for hearing protection, like my Godfather, Uncle Remy, taught me. He was SMPD. LOVE YOU REMY!Wish they would allow OC since they allow CC, according to the signage, but hear no evil, speak no evil see no evil, seems to be their way.Write in Chairman Craig T. “I'm from an area that doesn't have Shake Shacks but had to try it based on my love of the movie 'Something Borrowed.' So glad I tried the Avocado bacon burger! It's been a must-visit each time I visit San Antonio. Chose this location hoping to view the eclipse. At least the burger/fries were great!“
“Food and atmosphere was amazing but what really stood out to me was the quality of service from my server Eva. She was extremely kind and respectful and constantly checked up on our table. Definitely took our experience at the restaurant to a whole different level. I can safely say I’ll be back very soon!“
“Everything was AMAZING! It was our first time here and we were welcomed with "Oyster nachos" and a few soups to try out. All of the items were so delicious. My wife's recommendation is the "Lobster Bisque", and mine is the "Gumbo". Our waitress Amal, was amazing, funny, and very professional. Highly recommend this place if you want great seafood at an amazing price.“
“Had a really great time here for our first time. Lots of menu items but we all wanted breakfast. French toast was absolutely delicious, thick, fresh. Our server was great at explaining and answering questions, very attentive. We will definitely be back!“
“Having a meal at Perry’s is always a great experience. We were immediately greeted by our server, Gibby. We dined at the restaurant last night and had the 10 ounce fillet, macaroni and cheese, and twice baked whipped potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare and very hot. The macaroni and cheese was great, The twice baked potatoes were melt in your mouth delicious! The service was fantastic. Gibby seemed to appear whenever we needed something, yet he did not hover. There are a number of high-end steakhouses in San Antonio, and Perry’s never disappoints! We definitely will be back.“
“Great food, service, and drinks. My husband ordered Ribeye and gratin which was amazing. I ordered special of the day, lamb with mash and veggie medley. Delicious! He ordered an old fashion which is one of his favorites. I got the cheesecake which was amazing but had to share since I couldn't finish it on my own. My step son ordered the ribeye , gratin, and the lobster tail which he loved. Also, the vanilla brûlée which hit the spot.“
“I'm from Wisconsin originally and going to Culver's with my parents, friends, or even by myself is something I truly missed. Then I found out there was one just a few miles from where I live!! I am so happy to have a bit of home that brings back the good times of being w my dad in the drive thru. I'm going to have to go back for some fish, but I couldn't resist a butter burger w cheese with some fried cheese curds and a concrete mixer. It was so satisfying. My daughter and I are warming our leftovers as I type this. Can't wait ti go back!!“
“In-N-Out not only has delicious food, but it's always extremely clean inside the restaurant and the workers are always so friendly. As a food service worker myself, I know it's hard to be friendly to some people-- especially if you have a bad day --but their workers are always on their A-game. Their handmade fries are my favorite fries from any restaurant, as they always have a perfect golden color, just the right amount of crispiness, and they're always salted just right. The burgers are always juicy and flavorful, and the ice cream they use for their shakes has a nice, authentic ice cream texture to go along with its great flavor. 10/10 restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There are some tables in the lobby designated to be wheel-chair accesible.“
“Love the food here,Everything is always Hot and Fresh and So delicious! The severs are always attentive and I appreciate that the manager will stop by and check on us as well. The place is always clean when we come by. Always a great time at this Willie’s,Will return soon“
“Played a show here and had a great time. The Brisket Grilled Cheese was awesome. The beer was ice cold and the stage was perfect for our trio. The crowd enjoyed their evening along side our friends and family. Can't wait to be back there.“
“Everything was delicious, service was excellent and fast and hot! I dinged one star bc I only found one banana in my banana pudding that didn’t seem as great as the rest of the food so I was a little disappointed with that dish but overall everything else was soo good the entire place still deserves 5 stars for service and taste. Excited to to more things on the menu! Mac and cheese was delicious!“
“I really enjoy this place. The atmosphere is great, outdoor seating is fantastic. Most of all the food is always good! I highly recommend the “Dips & Spreads” its pimento cheese, hummus, & spinach artichoke. Their Pimento Cheese is awesome. Happy hour from 3-6 might be one of the best deals in the immediate area of the quarry“
“In the corner of a strip mall area. Breaky and avocado toast meals were also pretty good. Husband did not like the biscuits and gravy. Gravy was too soupy and didn't like the biscuit either. Another friend had the Pecan Pie pancakes. He liked them.“
“if you’re cruising down San Pedro Avenue in San Antonio, you gotta hit up My Juicy. It’s just a quick hop from the Pearl district—like, under 3 miles. They’ve got parking and a drive-thru, which is super convenient. The menu is fire! The cheeseburgers, hamburgers, and chicken sandwiches? Delicious.Plus, they don’t just have your usual drinks; they’re serving up some awesome shakes. But here’s the real kicker: they’ve got beer and boozy shakes at the drive-thru.Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for some good eats and chill vibes!”“
“My favorite restaurant! Our waitress Shaina always goes above and beyond even when the restaurant is extremely busy she is extremely attentive to each of her tables and leaves no one unattended! Will request her as our waitress every visit! This girl deserves waitress of the year! Not only that but the food is always on point, delicious and brought in a timely manner!“
“Another fine time at Yard House. Party of 5 on a weekday at 7pm. No wait (they don't take reservations, but use the waitlist app). I would recommend this on a Friday/Sat. Service was very attentive and the food was excellent. Pork Burger and fries, Spicy Garlic Beef noodles, Beef Bowl, BLT, Chicken Avocado sandwich all rated excellent. Price is acceptable. Parking can be tricky. Limited Handicapped considering size of La Cantera...this has been an issue for quite some time (but that's not Yard-House's issue). Music was a bit loud this time around and conversation was a bit difficult.Parking: Limited Handicapped considering size of La Cantera...this has been an issue for quite some time (but that's not Yard-House's issue).“
“All I can say is WOW! My bf and I were craving pizza at 1:53 AM on a Tuesday and called here. The owner was extremely kind and friendly. He even stayed open later than his normal hours to get us pizza. And the pizza was AMAZING! Delicious NY style and it was bigger than most large pizzas. Awesome service, awesome pizza! 10/10“
“I stumbled on this place through an Instagram post (which normally is more hype than substance), but dang this place is great. The burger was perfect, huge, and a great price. I got a side of tots that were cooked to perfection. This is my new favorite burger spot in town. Highly recommend.“
“I love this place. Reminds me of NYC delis but cleaner and better quality food. Plus, they have some fantastic cocktails so it's a win all around.Happy hours here are definitely worth looking into. The five dollar burger on Tuesday is perhaps the best deal in town- it's cheaper than McDonald's but like actual high quality food and dang tasty. My favorite is Elaine's big salad (or whatever it's called). The ranch dressing is exquisite.Staff is super friendly - shout out to Austin and Alyssa for running the bar like absolute pros while also taking care of tables!“
“Fine dining about 10 minutes from downtown. Food, service and ambiance were excellent. Wine list long and very good. A great option to get away from tourist district and treat yourself. Prices very reasonable for quality of the food.Parking: If lot is too full shopping area across street.“
“Husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and our visit was wonderful. Our server was knowledgeable on drink and food menu. Our 8 oz filet mignon was cooked perfectly.Never had fried cheddar cheese placed on mashed potatoes but it made the dish unique.“
“My daughter is Gluten Free, and she could take everything but one item to gluten free. If you haven’t tried the strawberry shortcake pancake I highly recommend. 10/10 waiter was amazing being this was are first time here he explained everything and kept our drinks full“
“Atmosphere: I like the look & feel of the restaurant. The minute you walk in, you're greeted with the wonderful smell of smoke from wood burning.Service: the young lady's working this evening were awesome. Very patient and attentive. We had a gift card we wanted to use and ended up just shy of the balance. We couldn't leave without a tip so the server had a clever way of setting it up so we could use a debit card to leave a tip.Food: smokehouse burger is on point! It's huge, full of flavor and put together very nicely. The chicken parm on penne pasta is great. The chicken is massive lol you will not leave hungry when you eat here!Drinks: I didn't grab a pic but I had the cucumber & jalapeño margarita and I loved it. The description says it's refreshing and fully lives up to it!“
“This was my second time coming to Snooze albeit a different location and I can tell you it is worth going too. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere of the place makes you feel just in good spirits. Can't wait to come back and try that Crab omelet.“
“This is one of my favorite go to spots. I live for the matzo ball soup, I don't recall a time that I've visited and not paired it with my meal! The pimento cheese app is delicious as well. Another great option is the Elaine's big Salad. The staff is kind and the restaurant is always clean and organized.“
“The pizza puffs are sooooooo good!!!! The kids and I are obsessed with the grapes and the wings are mouth watering! Peach cobbler is delicious but we saved it to warm it up. The owner is super sweet and really puts her heart into what she does. We love this spot!“
“I heard good things about their beer, so I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. I'm a big fan of German and Belgian style beers and that appears to be their specialty. The Tripel Volunteer was pretty authentic for a Belgian Tripel. However, the MKII Doppelbock fell well short of an authentic German Doppelbock... it went flat in a hurry, tasting as if it spent some time in a whiskey barrel, and also had a smell of vinegar on the nose. Even so, I recommend Longtab as a good craft beer venue. Prompt friendly service. I'm a veteran and I give these veterans a big thumbs up!“
“This is my favorite place for jerk and stew chicken in San Antonio. I am working on bringing everyone in my family here, I love this place because of the food and the people. Chicken is so tender and juicy, jerk Chicken is perfect amount of spicy.“
“Excellent food in a relaxed but fun atmosphere. Service is always spot on. I had the Honey Chipotle Shrimp Tacos from the regular menu and they were delish. They always a specialty taco on the blackboard which i love. I generally don't like chains but this is one exception.“
“Magnolia Pancake Haus was good, tried , banana french toast, waffles, eggs, overall it was great. My only recommendation: hashbrowns need a bit more flavor and standard pancakes are normal. Example on another place I tried pancakes that are already buttery crispy on the outside not soft. The name says is Pancake Haus so I'm sure that can improve ?“
“First time in TR, great service! even the manager went to our table checking if we were good! We had to wait for an hour but I heard there is an APP where you can add yourself to the waiting list. Couldn't finish my steak (I was full), I wanted it well done but still had some red in it, but the taste was perfect. I already missed TR. They really make you feel special.Parking: Had to park in front of the chicken wings restaurant, it's far but not that far.“
“The restaurant is clean and quiet. Food was fantastic as well. Our waitress, Sunshine, was an absolute joy. I recommend this restaurant whole heartedly for family night or for fun occasions. Also, ask to pet the lobsters, you won't regret it!“
“A good time was had, and our waiter was entertaining (Viking Hiccup). Good variety of menu selectionsParking: Unusual parking lot, but plenty of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Arcade games, face painting, autograph booklet for waiter/characters. Bubble/fogging drinks.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair/walker ramps inside and out.“
“Jim's restaurants are our favorite go to place to place for a memorable breakfast. Their cowboy waffle with eggs is a special treat, give it a try. Any Jim's restaurant in San Antonio or the surrounding is area is well worth the stop.“
“JP had an awesome attitude and was extremely attentive. The appetizers were delicious and appropriately sized. Don't expect an entree size, the price is for flavor alone. The steaks were cooked immaculately, and even the strip was tender. 5 across the board, well worth the price if you want a top-quality steak.“
“This place is overall pretty good! Food and drinks are solid from what I’ve tried. They have a nice outside area and sometimes they have a little live music. It does get pretty crowded at times because there are a lot of locals that go there regularly.“
“The roasted poblano soup is quite possibly one of the best things I’ve ever had. So much flavor, a hint of poblano spice without it melting your face off. Pair it with the Vermont salad and you’ll be on cloud 9.Cheryl, the owner, is also so wonderful. She came over to great us, introduced herself, and clearly runs a phenomenal restaurant. Her staff are courteous and thoughtful. We will absolutely be coming back!“
“My son graduated from the air force training today and we decide to stop by chicken and pickle to eat with all my family and it was delicious! We went right as it opened and we got serviced by a sweet young lady named Gracia and she was awesome! She made great food recommendations and gave us such a wonderful experience here. Will definitely come back if we are ever back in San Antonio!“
“Cappy's "little sister" lives up to Cappy's example in food quality and pricing. The food is more 'casual', soups and sandwiches, with some interesting salads, and desserts. The sticky toffee pudding is a personal favorite. My only real complaint is the fact that the chocolate cake has nuts on it! I love chocolate and can't tolerate nuts so I am doomed to not be able to enjoy the chocolate cake that I love...“
“We went to The Rustic today, and are so glad we did. They have a “Jam and Toast Brunch” on Sunday. It is a lot of food for a very reasonable price. We enjoyed migas, French toast bites, biscuits and gravy, a jicama and cucumber salad, thick-sliced pepper bacon, fried chicken, freshly cut fried potatoes and lemon bars. The standouts were the migas. They were prepared an unorthodox way, but they were delicious nonetheless. The potatoes were perfectly done and were covered with a delicious sauce. The peppered bacon slice was substantial. The small biscuits were a little dense, but the cream gravy was great. Our only complaint was the front doors and the large garage doors were open to hear the live music. Their solution was to offer blankets, a nice touch, but it was not enough to knock off the chill in the restaurant. We will look forward to returning to The Rustic for brunch again.“
“Had one of the best dining experiences today. Although the wait was a tad long, it's to be expected when you want to eat good food!! My waitress, Jazmyne was AMAZING!! Very attentive and very sweet! Always checked on me and made sure I had what I needed! Thank you Jazmyne for being so wonderful!! TXRH sure did pick a good one :)“
