“Was Hungry looking for something i Haven’t had before and Stumbled across this place . Read the Reviews and instantly thought CAP! lol but I was Wrong the Food was Bomb , everything was so flavorful from the food to the Lemonade ( which I would say is a MUST TRY! ) Most definitely will be returning ✨??“
“If I could give more stars for service I would. From when I came through the doors to when I left I was welcomed, seated promptly, waited on immediately, menu explained and food started coming. Now let's talk the food, do not skip the shabu, it is a 5 dollar additional fee, but we'll worth it, and the mushroom choices are soo tasty. I had shrimp, steak, kalbi, salmon and they were all very good. Definitely coming back Herr, bring your appetite.“
“They came by our apts today, super nice, food was seriously on point.. we caught them as they were gonna get ready to head out and we’re blessed with xtra rice, beans, and Mac.. Prices are very reasonable and def fair for the quality your getting..Thank you guys for making our Fri night dinner an awesome one“
“First time in TR, great service! even the manager went to our table checking if we were good! We had to wait for an hour but I heard there is an APP where you can add yourself to the waiting list. Couldn't finish my steak (I was full), I wanted it well done but still had some red in it, but the taste was perfect. I already missed TR. They really make you feel special.Parking: Had to park in front of the chicken wings restaurant, it's far but not that far.“
“I ordered the three meat plate. Marble brisket, sausage, and chicken.Normally, I avoid chicken at barbecue places because it tends to be dry, but this chicken was perfection seasoned Well, yummy skin. Marbled brisket was tender, sausage had a nice crisp to the skin but juicy meat. Dee's beans were very good, and the star was the sweet potato casserole! It was such a treat. The honey mustard sauce was such a nice touch overall. Would recommend“
“Staff was very helpful with making suggestions. Food was fantastic. Served on styrofoam plates and plastic silverware. Wasn’t a problem for us. I had brisket nachos and husband had brisket combo. Ate outside because it was such a pleasant day.“
“It was our first time there . Found it on TikTok as a food review. It was reviewed as the best Barbacoa. As soon as we walked in we were greeted . Makes you feel at home . Both people in front were friendly .It was a lot of food for a great price . Good barbacoa, tamales .Corn and flour tortillas . We will be going there every time we come back to San Antonio . 956 to the 210“
“Let me tell you about Pigpen in San Antonio - it's the kind of place that steals your heart faster than you can say "oink!" The first time I waltzed in, it was like stumbling upon a hidden gem - fairly empty, which I secretly loved. But let me warn you, every other time? Jam-packed, and for good reason! Now, onto the main event - the food. I dove into a plate of wings and a chicken slider, and let me just say, yum, yum, yum! It's like a flavor explosion in your mouth that makes you want to dance a little jig of joy. Finally, a spot serving up killer bar food that isn't just another taco joint - Pigpen, you're doing it oh-so-right!And let's not forget about the libations. We sipped on classic cocktails and beer all night long, thanks to the fabulous Courtney, our bartender extraordinaire. She's not just attentive, she's like your long-lost drinking buddy who knows exactly what you need before you even ask.But here's the real kicker - the nachos. Oh boy, oh boy, were we in for a treat! Brisket on everything? Yes, please! Pigpen knows what's up, and let me tell you, it's a flavor sensation you won't soon forget. So, do yourself a favor and trot on over to Pigpen immediately. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you later!“
“Way underated...this is a weekly spot. The Gogi bowl is awesome but the wife likes the Hill Country... Bimimbop. Oh, get the wings too, a bit spicy, but awesome! Drive though is open but go in to make sure order is correct. Prices are very reasonable and fast.“
“Love this place! The entertainment was great, the set up and the stage is nice and easy to see, and the staff is friendly and kind. it's also not ridiculously expensive! Most places for cover bands want to charge crazy money for a table or VIP experience, but this was very reasonable. We had a great table upfront and the table for two was only $50 for really high-quality entertainment. I didn't want no VIP package, I just wanted to listen to some good music, and the band Radio Journey was on point! They sang great rock hits from the 70s and 80s of course from Journey, but also Pat Benatar, Heart, Loverboy, Night Ranger, Van Halen and more!Anyway, great people, good place, reasonable prices; what more is there to say? check them out! You'll be glad you did!“
“Pack your bags and immediately go to El Monte for the best BBQ that you’ll be tasting. Tender, juicy, smoky, and did I mention tender? It was Easter Sunday. They were open for another hour. We were hungry. We headed there after some birding at Government Canyon State Natural Area. No yellow-cheeked warblers today, but we were okay with it because we did get ribs, sausage, Barbacoa tacos with fresh tortillas, creamed corn, and coconut cake at El Monte’s BBQ. The owner and staff were so friendly. The owner even showed us the smoker, which his dad had made from a propane tank in 1978. Having this history to go along with the meal was really special. The owner even gave us some brisket burnt ends to try. Wowza!!! I’ve tasted nothing like this in my life. The smoke was perfect. The seasoning was right on. Thank you El Monte!!“
“You know I haven't been to an L&L in so long. It was always the place to get food to fill you up good local favorites. I have to say after not having L&L in so long it was such a treat to eat here again specially this location. The service was full of aloha and Kat was such a great part of our experience. I had the chicken katsu, musubi, and bbq chicken, everything was grindz! So good. I also loved the vibe and the decor inside made me feel like I was back home, local music playing and the delicious smells in the air. Also they have little get togethers in the back where they play music and eat and drink so cool. I definitely recommend trying this place if you're missing those bomb plate lunches.“
“I haven't had good brisket in a while! They stopped me and had me try a sample of brisket, tried it out, it was already heaven in my mouth. I had to order. Got myself the Brisket Sandwhich and oh boy, that was worth every penny. They definitely got me sold and I look forward to ordering more from them.“
“At this Longhorn Restaurant they all know what it takes to satisfy their customers & with a very welcoming smile,, I go out of my way to eat here,,Thank you all for an amazing dining experience,, I give You All 5 Stairs out of 5 ?...The longhorn on 281 south & Stone Oak Pkwy could learn some customer service from the above !!!!Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I’m new to San antonio and was looking for a good barbacoa place, I found this one online and decided to try it. Pepe’s did not disappoint! The barbacoa was delicious, the price was good and the staff was so friendly! I would recommend to anyone in the San Antonio area!“
“My daughter was visiting so it was a great excuse to order takeout from Smokey Mo’s! This has been our “go-to” BBQ place since 2008. Always great food, prompt service, friendly staff. We ordered the Large Family pack so there would be leftovers, lol.“
“I had the 1 meat plate with smoked turkey, spicy creamed corn, and potato salad. The turkey was ok - a little dry. The potato salad was a loaded baked potato in a cup. My husband had the 2 meat plate with sausage and marbled brisket along with okra and potato salad. The sausage was good. The brisket was tender.“
“Located at the end of a small shopping Plaza the fare is a simple menu. Fries, salads, chicken tenders and a few other staples. I ordered a margarita flight which was very tasty and the chicken tenders. They have a full bar and they emphasize their homemade sauces.“
“We went in and waited a bit but it was our mistake for not making ourselves known. However Classic Cheeseburger was delicious. My girlfriend got the Tender meal and it was also delicious. The Cook/Waiter guy was friendly and made the visit awesome. Will definitely come back with friends and family.“
“Ordered delivery from here for the first time and was very delighted with the results. We got a baked potato with pork burnt ends, and a brisket sandwich and some of the jalapeño cheese sausage. All of it was very good the sausage, especially because they cut it so thinly for some reason that made it better. will try this place in person next time.“
“Just stop in for our first time. Service was very quick. We order brisket, ribs and cream corn. The ribs were very dry and tough and we had to soak them in bbq sauce. The brisket and corn were very good. The brisket was cut thick and it was juice but was a little on the cold side. They gave free pickles, onions and bread which was a plus considering that bbq joints are charging now.“
“Some of the best BBQ and sides I've had in town, it's true as they advertise. Also, one of the few places in town that serves Kool-Aid. Awesome.Only gripe (and it's enough for me to drop a star of my rating) is that the place forces all orders to be to-go when ordering 30 minutes before close, which is stated nowhere on their operating hours. This should be mentioned somewhere on the business hours since most other establishment I've been to allow indoor seating up until close unless specifically stated otherwise. (So yes, I arrived before close and was expecting to dine in, and that did not happen.)“
“We were visiting from out of state and knew we had to try Texas BBQ. We debated where to go and decided on Blanco. We were glad we did. It was very good and the service was fast. The BBQ sauce is very good too. We don't have anything to compare it against, but you won't be disappointed and it's reasonably priced.“
“We have been going to Mo's since they opened the Stone Oak store. Most of the time I pick it up on my way home. When we have visitors we always have at least one family meal from them. Just like making it at home but a lot more convenient!“
“I had a ribeye and it was salty and a little overcooked; loaded potato was not loaded at all however we did speak to the manager Kayla and she re-did my baked potato was very professional and friendly. The Loghotn Steak was absolutely fabulous! The service could be a little better with better organized and knowledgeable waiters. Overall a 4 stars. ** We did pay for our food** Thank you Kayla!“
“Everything was Amazing! The food, the atmosphere and the service! This place knows how to do BBQ. The fresh baked bread with the honey butter served as a great appetizer. I ordered the 2 meat combo. The service was also very good and our food arrived fresh and fast.“
“First time here and liked it. We spent 65 Dlb for the BBQ starters (with the addition of 2 drinks and a extra side)Mac & Cheese was amazing 9/10 ?❤️But the cream corn had a jalapeño quick and flavor which is not of our liking 4/10potato salad was okay as we are not too big fans of the celery 3/10But everything else was greatSelf serve condiments and sauces which they have a lot of optionsThe price for us was perfect as we have tried more BBQ places and for the prices and taste this have been and is at our top of the list“
“It's one of the best Texas BBQ in town. The meats are very tender, juicy, and delicious. The meat marinated in a thick molasses-based sauce that gives the meat a sweet and moist flavor. Excellent customer service with plenty of tables available for dining.“
“This is literally the whole in the wall that has great barbacoa and tamales and even better that it's on the NE side! Thank God! Their Menudo, tamales and barbacoa is so delicious!! They sell out fast so you gotta get there early. It's so worth the wait and I'm so glad i don't have to drive across town to get some good barbacoa, cause it's right here on my side of town! Let's support this local business in OUR neighborhood (if you're from these parts) and tell our friends and neighbors about this place! For years we have not been dissapointed! So glad that my grandma found this place years ago ! Now i buy it for my family to enjoy!! Thank you Tony's Barbacoa for serving us !!Kid-friendliness: It's a small place so there's not much room for kids to run. You're in line with other customers. It's more of an in and out place. No tables or chairsWheelchair accessibility: Yes and no. It's a tiny spot , and it gets really packed. As far as parking and to get inside, yes it's wheelchair accessible“
“Welp, I'm not from Texas. So what do I know about BBQ. I do know what tastes good...AND this is some fine tasting Q! I had the half chicken. It was a lot chicken and super moist. Paired with the "Rudy's BAR-BQ Sauce" it's a yum in every bit. I loved the old school vibe, staff was friendly and the line to order, although long, was not that bad. Besides, there's some tasty Q on the other side. Don't forget to grab that Peach Cobbler for dessert!“
“Great food and the owner was a great story teller! He sure has lived a wild life but has a lot of wisdom from it. I ordered the beef shoulder and chicken plate. It was $25 but once I had a taste of the food, I forgot about the price! Everything has a fresh taste!“
“I came here with mt fiance and my god, I had the most amazing server. Their name was Cooper and they were absolutely amazing, they provided us with exceptional service, always checked on us to see how we were doing, made sure I had gotten what I asked for and right off the bat treated us like we mattered. I will 100 percent be coming back to enjoy more of Texas roadhouse, but only if Cooper is my server again.“
“Stopped here while at HEB to get dinner to take home. First time here. Got 1/2 pound of the Lwan Brisket 1/2 pound of the Turkey, Cole Slaw and cream corn for sides along with peach cobbler and a banana pudding. Overall everything was good, nothing really would me. It was good BBQ, but not outstanding.“
“Not only does this place have the best Barbacoa and hot sauce. Today they had cake they had a pink cake with white frosting and they had a German chocolate cake. I Purchased the German chocolate cake OMG!!!!IT IS DELICIOUS?❤️!!!!Thank y’all for all your hard work & outstanding customer service. The cake is a success???#veryhappycustomer?“
“This is a good spot if you are looking for a local dive bar near the airport with cheap drinks and decent bar food. It has a "Cheers" feel to it where everybody knows your name. With happy hour prices it's full of locals but open to guests. Jukebox app to play your favorite songs, play darts, shoot pool... Just check it out.It is Kid friendly before 9pm.“
“The baby back ribs were tender, crusty and sweet with tons of meat. The fried fish was corn meal breaded with a light lemon taste. It was a very large filet, and very tasty. Not fishy at all. The sliced bbq sandwich was stacked high with tender brisket. We had all of this served to us within 15 minutes of ordering. Our server was professional and very attentive. We will go back to try the many different things on the menu! Jesse knows how to cook!!Dietary restrictions: My husband is diabetic, and he had a ton of options!“
“Had one of the best dining experiences today. Although the wait was a tad long, it's to be expected when you want to eat good food!! My waitress, Jazmyne was AMAZING!! Very attentive and very sweet! Always checked on me and made sure I had what I needed! Thank you Jazmyne for being so wonderful!! TXRH sure did pick a good one :)“
