“Stopped in on Friday April 4th! I eat BBQ all over the state and have tried several of the Top places! This is hands down the best! This is what I think of when I think Texas BBQ! The brisket was best I have ever had! If I could have eaten the bone on the ribs, I would have and that Jalapeno Sausage, WOW! Sides were excellent as well. Best Beans I have ever had! Can not wait to make another trip back down!“

“We looked for a good food truck & are SO glad we found Red's! The brisket was Moist, a great smoke ring & a fantastic flavor! We got some of the point & the flat. We also loved the BBQ beans! The owner was extremely friendly & even offered to make me creamed corn, even though they were out! All of us were Extremely pleased with our meals & will recommend the truck, as well as their catering to our friends!“

“I think our waitress was overwhelmed or forgot we had ordered food. But, we were finishing up a game of pool and planned to leave. So we requested to cancel the food order as it had already been almost 20 mins (if not more. Idk how long before we actually ordered) The manager looked at the time from when the server put in the order and decided not to allow us to cancel because the food was done and it had only been 19 mins and that's normal. We were visiting from out of town. So it's not like we will be repeat customers. But, I would say the way it was handled felt unprofessional. The food was old and had sat in the window for a while. We were not there to argue. So we went about the rest of our game and left.
I would just venture to say that it could have been handled better. Instead my friends felt it was met with attitude. The only time we saw our server was when she took the order for the 1 drink and food. No refills or anything after that until she was approached to cancel. Again it was busy in there. I have been a server at many different establishments. I get it.. The manager should have stepped in to talk to us instead of sending the waitress to say her manager is not taking it off because 19mins isn't a long time. So again not a bad place. Didn't wait long for a table or anything. We enjoyed the environment.“

“I visited The Pit for the first time and WOW! The gentleman that took my order was knowledgeable and helpful in me making my decision. I went with a brisket sandwich and was a bit skeptical as I've never gotten one I really enjoyed. This sammich was sooo dang good! The brisket is flavorful, not dry at all, and their orginal BBQ sauce? Sooo yum! I give the food and service a 5! y'all need to get you some! I'll def be back!“

“Incredibly delicious and authentic Indonesian food! My wife and I ate there today, and wow was it good! It took us back to the street food in Jakarta. The ayam bakar (grilled chicken) meal was perfectly cooked and tasted so authentic. Crispy skin, moist chicken, rice and lalapan (lalapan is like a salad - it’s fresh lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, y’all get the idea) The yellow rice (nasi kuning) had that unique coconut fragrance that immediately brought back memories. The homemade sambal (hot sauce) was straight up delicious and if you like spicy, this is for you. It’s pretty spicy, but doesn’t set ya on fire ya know? Highly recommend this spot! Good Indonesian food is hard to find, period. Sate Texas BBQ brings those Indonesian flavors to Texas in a big way! We can’t wait to go back, Selamat Makan!! (Enjoy the food, y’all)!“

“Today was my first order with Ambur Fire from our work's lunchdrop. On a whim I ordered a mushroom swiss bacon burger with cajun crinkle cut fries. It was nearly the cutoff time. It was great. Thank you for providing a spectacular menu of great food.“

“I’ve came here about 4 times already, the guy taking your order is a pretty cool guy, very attentive and knows how to properly take an order. I recommend the chicken bbq bowl its FOOD WAS AMAZING I WOULD RECOMMEND Specially THE CHICKEN BOWL“
“I have a weird affinity for hotel breakfast. The buffet here is a decent spread of super fresh fruits and berries, oatmeal and toppings, yogurts, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Items are refreshed frequently. There is also a breakfast menu with plates and a la carte items as well. Wait staff were attentive without being obtrusive. We did have a small lurch -- ordered a la carte turkey sausage, but it wasn't available (at 9am). Small matter -- we asked if we could have a plate of the pork sausage from the buffet for the a la carte price (the recipient hadn't ordered the buffet). The coffee was hot and plentiful, with the carafe left at the table as the good Lord intended. If you order juice, they leave the decanter at the table as well. Quiet, pleasant ambience allows a good conversation without having to shout or strain to hear and a humane start to the day.“

Outlaw ribeye was great. Texas Tonion was good. I think the best would have to be their new fire roasted corn on the cob.“

We get takeout at least once a week now. The BBQ is pretty darn good! The staff has always been pleasant. We haven't dined in yet, but the dining room looks great!“
