“We had an amazing experience at Balboa! Starting with the complimentary valet, which was quick and friendly service. The entry to the restaurant was super nice and a great photo opportunity spot. Kyrah took excellent care of us during our visit, and we loved the team style service. It felt like we had a team serving us, and they are so quick and quiet that you can continue to hold conversations and visit but someone is always near if you need anything. Kyrah took special care to "refresh" our cocktail glasses when we finished about half of our drinks, and made excellent recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing. Our table tried the fried shrimp, oysters, spicy ahi tuna roll, crab cake, Post Oak ribeye with pureed potatoes, salmon with the most delicious and unique salad, and heirloom tomatoes. The cocktails were delicious, including the Gold Rush, Rum Dum, and el Guero. The restaurant vibe is romantic but fun and sophisticated and has an open kitchen concept where you can see the food being made if you care to watch. I will most definitely be back and can confidently recommend this place to anyone!“

“The crawfish were huge, juicy, and packed with flavor! Perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Definitely some of the best crawfish I’ve had in a long time. The Bayou Wings with the Cajun fries are a hit — full of flavor and cooked fresh. You have to try the mango green tea, and don’t forget to order the beignet fries… crispy in every bite and absolutely delicious. Great service and great food — I’ll definitely be back! The mango green tea was so refreshing I had to order another one for the road. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Definitely a spot worth stopping by! The staff is very friendly and attentive!“

“Love, love, love this restaurant. Great menu and a great place for seafood lovers (My husband). Even if you don't eat seafood (which I don't) I love their Chicken Enchiladas Verdes, grilled chicken sandwich, burger, but my all time favorite is their chicken fried rice! (Yes, best Asian rice in the city.) A good value, and very sweet staff...plus they have Mexican Coca-Cola and other sodas from our friends South of the Border. Hubs likes their margaritas.“

“We ordered the jjampong, tangsuyuk, and jjajang. Everything was very good! Compared to Dallas Korean Chinese food restaurants I’ve tried and Paek’s Korean Chinese restaurant, Crab Ave was the best. The food tasted authentic and the jjampong had a good amount of seafood. Probably the best in Texas! Definitely recommend trying it.“

“This is a fairly new place that has been open only for a month and some. The owner was super nice and explained everything. They gave us some complimentary shrimp corn bisque which was delicious. “I’ve been coming here ever since I was a kid before they built this current location. Prices have gone up over the years, but honestly, so has everything else. The gulf oysters are good and large, gumbo is rich, fried platters are generous and satisfying, and the micheladas are out of this world. Seating is limited… most people wait for spots at the inner bar, but if you notice open seats around the outer perimeter, just ask the staff. They’ll usually let you sit there and skip the wait.“

I've tried a variety of things and the dishes are staples of what one would expect from the other restaurants mentioned
Now there are only two things that I didn't care for one was time , they are making it fresh and they do get busy so maybe it's just my impatients and 2 the gumbo , I've tried twice but both times it's been just too dark for my liking the rue is overcooked or maybe the spices but , I'd skip
Other than that sit down enjoy and be pleasantly surprised with the bill“
