“Basically a Mexican restaurant featuring fish dishes. Not a bad thing. Reminds me of Mambo's. Breading on fish too thick. Had to use knife to cut instead of fork. Sides good although you can skip the fries. Salad actually had tomato in it! Prices reasonable. Service outstanding.“

“I've never eaten here but decided to try the food after a day out on the scooter. I'm glad I did! Oscar hipped me to the happy hour (M-F 5-close) and I was sold. I liked that Shiner is considered "Domestic " here. The chicken tenders were moist and not overly crunchy and the honey mustard sauce was dreamy. Highly recommend this place when you're out and about or those nights when you don't feel like cooking. Will definitely be back!“

“This place was highly recommended by a friend so I made the 30min drive from the heights and was NOT disappointed. From the warm greeting when you walk in to the amazing customer service. Everything is superb. I tried the Reminisce cocktail and it was sooo delicious. Bryson at the bar made me feel so comfortable and gave some great recommendations. The owners are very hands on which makes all the difference. You can tell that they care about their customers not just to get people in but to give them a great dining experience. “We dine at Bacaro often because it is close to home and the food is consistently very good. The only issue we have is that service can be spotty; longer than expected waits between courses, multiple requests required for bread to be delivered, etc. We feel a little self-conscious when we have to "raise our hands" and call attention to ourselves when we need another beverage or want to pay our bill. We will certainly continue to be "regulars" here!“

“We arrived here late afternoon and the place had lots of space. Service was great, attendants were very friendly and attentive and encourage to try best options . Atmosphere was good I gave one less star only because some areas may need more lighting. But then again it could be that time of the day that we were there- dwindling sunlight, etc. the wall paintings were also very Houston / Tx so it was good for visitors like us!The food was great and very tasty which is what matters the most! Their sauces were very savory and the crawfish was excellent! Water station was dispensing cold water in the warm afternoon day so it was very refreshing!They asked us to pay by using the QR code which we did, very convenient but I suppose their system does not update right way because when we were walking outside, one attendant politely inquired if we had taken cared of the bill ?, I had to show her the electronic receipt and I have her the opportunity to go back inside to check their system. She came back and apologized. I did not feel embarrassed at all because they handled it very gracefully but I could understand if others may feel uncomfortable being out and in that situation. my advice to ownership is to look into how fast their system updates so customers wouldn’t be put in that predicament.This was just a lucky google search when we were driving in the area so it was such a lucky choice! My girlfriends & I came for steak & cocktails, Claudia was super attentive and always attended to our needs, she was also so bubbly and made us feel so comfortable and enjoyed our food & drinks made by her. “First time coming here. Only went here because another place I was going to was packed. Google searched to see what other crawfish places were nearby. Glad I tried this place out!! I bought 3lbs of their kickin style flavor. A little on the sweet side for my liking but still very tasty. Corn was good. Sausage was OK. I don't ever care for potatoes but the wife wanted some. Also got the shrimp and fish basket with Cajun fries. Overall we were extremely satisfied. Crawfish was 8.99/lb. Decent size. Only a few dead ones. The shrimp was seasoned and fried perfectly. And so was the fish (I requested for catfish). All in all I would definitely go back again. The wife isn't a big crawfish eater or fried food but even she liked it a lot!!“

“We decided to try Lynn’s since it was up the road from us, and hadn’t tried it before. We were celebrating our 3 yr anniversary! I made a reservation for a Tuesday evening, and our experience was beyond anything we could have imagined. The staff was incredibly welcoming, surprised us with champagne, and a delicious dessert at the end of our meal, and even a sweet card signed by the entire staff. Aside from that incredible experience, the food was DIVINE. Everything we ate was INCREDIBLE. From the lobster bisque, to the filets, a delectable blue cheese sauce, and the bacon lyonnaise potatoes and parmesan brussel sprouts. “My husband and I came here on a date and it was perfect. The atmosphere is very nice, upbeat music playing a far off so that it isn't overpowering, attentive service, and great food.We made sure that we spaced our meal so that we could enjoy everything without becoming too full too quickly.We started with strawberry tea- perfectly sweetened and mozzarella cheese bites that were piled high with a side of chunky marinara sauce. After that my husband had the extremely moist rosemary half chicken with roasted brussel sprouts and I had the perfectly grilled salmon with lemon butter and roasted carrots topped with honey and pistachios. After dinner and gazing in eachother's eyes, my husband enjoyed a large slice of keylime pie and I enjoyed the creme Brulee.We both agreed that everything was perfect and we look forward to our next visit. Not many people. The "Hostess" did not want to seat me. I looked around the empty restaurant and asked why she would not seat me and told me the wait would be 20 minutes. I called the manager. And he gave me an excuse that they were short in personnel and I have to wait, instead of seating us and committing to provide a good positive experience regardless as they have always done it. My positive experience has not been the same and they keep raising their prices to a point that it’s ridiculous high. Lunch for three people, a beef quesadilla, two tacos, a small tortilla soup, water and two drinks $40 per person? Something in their management has changed.“

“Not sure why this place is not more popular....... the food is really very good. Most people seem to come here for the crawfish, but frankly so many of the other dishes are absolutely amazing. I'm generally not a fan of Pho, but theirs was amazing. The brisket fried rice easily one of the best friend rices I've ever had....... in general all the food we ordered was really very good! The only thing that put me off was the attitude of the waitress who not only behaved like it was a bit of a hassle attending to us - and the very few tables that were occupied - but she literally behaved like she was an owner of the restaurant. At one point I in fact even asked her casually if she was an owner of the restaurant (she wasn't!). Bottomline - this restaurant would do a LOT better if it was in a better location and had more better staff. Many other restaurants have come and gone in this location. As the old adage goes, in the restaurant business, it's all about location, location, location!“

I especially like the grilled salmon and baby greens salad, as well as any of the fresh fish selections (especially the red fish). My wife likes most anything on the menu as long as it comes with grilled shrimp or grilled shrimp is added. The atmosphere is great - you can actually carry on a conversation. We ordered a mixed fajita family plater for 3 or 4 people. 2 big eaters and one light eater and we had enough food for 2 more people. It was seasoned very well and everything was cooked just right. I loved the steak but the mac and cheese wasn’t incredible.my bf tried the filet and it was not as soft as other filets we’ve tried. the menu advises they have a different style of cooking the meat so maybe that was it but we didn’t live it.the appetizer was the hong kong shrimp and I enjoyed that a lot.for dessert we tried the chocolate cake slice and that was redeeming for my bf. he loved it. it was moist and decadent.“
