“Qdoba is my go-to spot when I'm craving a quick and delicious meal. The food is consistently great, I always leave satisfied! But honestly, what really makes the place special are Ronny and Bianca. Whenever I see either of them working the line, I know I'm in for a great experience. They're both super friendly and always make me feel welcome. If I happen to pop in and see anyone else behind the counter, I'll usually just head somewhere else.“

Now there are only two, Alamo Heights, and this one which is in Monte Vista. The food is heavenly. The atmosphere is sublime. Service: exceptional. If you don’t eat TexMex anywhere else while in town you should make time for a late afternoon lunch at La Fonda on Main. It’s in a league of its own. ❤️“

“Maria's was the 5th spot we tried on our search for best breakfast tacos in SA. The bacon, egg, potato and cheese was really good especially with that hot sauce and its spicy kick. The bean and cheese, while also good wasn't as flavorful as beans I've had elsewhere. The carne guisada and cheese was the best taco for sure. It's a bit of nitpicking, but the meat wasn't quite as tender as compared to other spots and the tortillas overall were on the chewy side. That being said, I really enjoyed this spot and would definitely return for more breakfast tacos as well as to try all the other options on their menu. 4.2 out of 5“

“Wow wow wow.. This was the best barbacoa I have ever had in my life!! I can see why people line up here!

My coworker actually told me about this place and we came here after our nightshift. I was surprised this place opens at 530am... So early! But you have to come early or they'll sell out. There were already other people coming in as well.

You can buy the barbacoa in two different ways so I got one pound of each. I also got some big red to go with it (apparently a must), corn tortillas, pico de gallo, and hot sauce.

The barbacoa literally melts in your mouth!!! I ate almost all of the two pounds myself lol.

I also love that this place is family owned. The girl at the counter was so nice :)“

From the moment you walk in, the decorations really catch your eye — colorful, festive, and full of character everywhere you look. It feels like you’re stepping into a piece of San Antonio’s history. We absolutely loved the food, and to make it even better, a mariachi band came by our table and performed for us, which made the night feel extra special.
