“Great scallops , steak was ok. Just wasn’t as entertaining as I have seen before . But still recommend . Don’t ask for chili oil tho.. sever said that’s for Chinese food not hibachi lol. Get the scallops .. they were A-1. Also take a min to admire the art on the walls .“

“We LOVE this place! Great sushi at a great price! Our daughter discovered Nori through DoorDash and ordered regularly.because one roll and fried rice could consistently last her 3 meals. She then asked us to take her on her birthday. My wife, who loves sushi, saw the lower prices and assumed the rolls must be small. She in turned ordered seeming 3 of every roll on the menu. The waitress' eyes got HUGE when she saw the order and said "that's WAY TOO MUCH!" We all laughed and she had my wife reduce the order to 1 roll each and even complete remove some rolls. When the rolls, sushimi, sushi arrived, we were like OMG what did we do??? It was SO MUCH! These are NOT small rolls. The table looked like a floating city (as they put the rolls in these 2 feet by 10 inch boats) of colorful art. It was beautiful, but overwhelmingly intense volume. We felt like if we really pushed ourselves we could mostly wipe it out. We may be hurting a little, but we wouldn't look like babies nibbling on our food and so we went to town. We enjoyed every bite of every piece and quickly put a sizable dent in the order. We were feeling proud and full and accomplished. That's when the remaining boats showed up... We cried uncle and threw our hands up in defeat. There was an entire additional boat we didn't touch. SO MUCH FOOD! We still laugh at that wonderful experience and we still don't let my wife forget. It's still funny and made for a great memory.“

“Though the name Chasu comes from Cantonese cuisine, this fusion eatery also features menu items from other countries in East and Southeast Asia. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with deciding what to order according to our tastes.The ambiance is reminiscent of a Hong Kong or Singaporean eatery, and I quite like the fact that it's not fully serviced (you order and pick up at the counter). “I have always ordered for pick up or delivery but I finally had a dine in experience over the weekend. The restaurant was very clean, and the server was really nice. We really appreciated that our server understood the assignment when my babe ordered his dishes extra spicy ! She even brought out sliced Serrano peppers and extra siracha for him. I ordered the Boyfriend Roll and the Golden Roll and my babe ordered the Monkey Brain and Spicy Edamame. Everything was fresh and delicious. “This is most likely my favorite Japanese restaurant in all of DFW. The food here is incredible - you genuinely cannot go wrong with anything you decide to pick from here. If you're obsessed with chicken Katsu like I am - then please try it from here! It comes with an egg-based Tatar side on the side to compliment probably the best flaky and crisp chicken Katsu of your life. The sauces that compliment it also are incredibly done. The service is great and the workers are very kind. If you're confused at all about what to get they will help guide you into getting the most out of your experience there. The ambiance is very modest and pretty inside - it makes a great little afternoon/evening date with your special someone. I 1000% recommend this place and will forever continue recommending this place to friends who visit the DFW area.“

“THIS is our absolute favorite sushi restaurant in North Dallas! The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. Henry was our waiter tonight and was AMAZING!!!! He was so kind, so quick, and seemed impressed we finished two entire plates of sushi! Tofu hibachi grill was good and came with two different sauces to try out. Wow bowl chicken was cooked perfectly. All of the dishes tasted good and safe bets but also nothing that would necessarily be a craving or bring me back. Quick service.For improvement: Galbi bowl was tough to eat with the plastic fork. The plastic fork was not strong enough to poke through the meat, not that the meat was tough. Need metal forks to eat the Galbi with. Menus set up high and spread across the full length of the bar so you can’t see the items on the left menu panel or even middle panel when you make it to the register— why do restaurants do this? Have a repeat of the menus— do one set at the front so people waiting in line can start thinking about what they want, then a same set of menus behind the register so we can remember. The Chief who made food for us in the center of table was pretty professional and, busy but in order. The new Asian waiter was pretty good. I had the uni ( my favorite) and hard to find where we live. My wife had King salmon, a first for her. We split the edamame, and as a surprise the chef came out with two hand rolls-tacos, that were unbelievably good and unique. The nori was covered in plastic that you removed right before you ate it to keep the nori crispy. We were both surprised how good they were. And to top that all they were on the house. I will say it is pricey. 2 adults one child on a Sunday came out to $162. 18% tip is automatically added to your bill fyi, wish i would have known that or atleast disclose it in menu. “This is my 3rd time dining at the restaurant and it has been the best experience I've had thus far living in Dallas. This particular time I was wowed by my server June. She was truly a joy to dine with today. She recommend the cucumber martini which was made with gluten free vodka and it was simply delicious. I always get the number 45 roll, the presentation and flavor is amazing also the surprising crunch adds a texture that is very pleasing. I noticed to dumplings looking delicious at another table and again came highly recommended by June bc she said they are homemade which sold me and I had to try them as well. “You’ll be surprised by the low prices of the menu items. So surprised that you’ll order a lot of food. Then something that was an inexpensive post workout meal turns into the amount of a mini grocery bill. The food was good but I can’t say it’s something that’s worth writing about. One negative was the Miso soup it was WAY too salty. One positive was that the Seaweed Salad was fresh and had no slime pooling at the bottom. As far as sushi goes it was average. Nothing special here just another sushi restaurant, no experience, no amazing anything. It’s really new and clean good for dates and lunches.“

“This restaurant is now my go-to place for sushi in the West Frisco area. I used to live nearby, and I've tried a lot of the other sushi options in the neighborhood. None of them compare to Hikari Sushi! Believe me, it took a while to write this review (read: months) because I put this place through a rigorous vetting process. Their call-in/take out service is top notch and their third-party app service (we've used GrubHub pickup and delivery here several times) was not only courteous but accurate and well packed. My last experience, I chose to dine-in and I was blown away by the quality of food (i.e. freshness) and hospitality. Service was great, the vibe inside is nice and relaxed. There's soft pop/lofi music playing that's in-offensive and not too loud, so you can carry a conversation or even read a book while dining. I'll definitely be back to bring friends and family because I trust that they can consistently deliver. They have a little bit of everything to suit all palettes which is what matters the most.
