“Great food and friendly staff, fast service“

“I’ve been coming here since 2015, and after more than a decade it is still one of my favorite restaurants. The food is consistently fresh and beautifully prepared. The ginger dressing is hands-down the best I’ve ever had, the vegetables are perfectly cooked, and even the jasmine rice with toasted black sesame seeds shows the attention to detail they put into every meal. The staff is warm, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Today they refilled my miso soup without me asking and even boxed my leftovers for me at the table—something I usually only experience in fine dining restaurants. And all of that, including iced tea, came to under $17. This place is an absolute gem.“

Food:
I’m fairly new to the area and I was in search of a good sushi place and Nori Sushi did not disappoint. The selection and prices are amazing. Today I ordered a chicken katsu bento box and the vegetable fried rice in order to try a variety of food. The katsu was amazing and so were the California rolls. I did also enjoy the cabbage slaw and salad but personally I’m not a fan of too much dressing or slaw but they were still enjoyable.
Customer Service:
When I walked in I was initially greeted and able to sit wherever I wanted. I also receive excellent service throughout the duration of my meal.
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere visually is good and the place has a nice vibe. They chose very nice decor and made great use of the space here. I greatly appreciate that. Also from what I’ve noticed the place seems to be a “mom and pop” kind of place and I also appreciate this too as I like to spend my money with the local businesses rather than large corporations.

Yes, with great sounding jazz playing in the background. So cool! Everything we ordered was shared ( including the seafood Ramen) so we could try several items on the menu. Everything was so so good. Quite possibly the best Japanese cuisine we ever experienced. Not kidding. For our last ordered item we requested chef to just make us something memorable and oh my heavens did he ever. The Futomaki roll he sent was the best sushi roll we ever ate. (See pic) All agreed. We can't wait to come back.

Every dish showed the chef’s skill, attention to detail, and clear passion for Japanese cuisine. “As a vegan, Musume has a number of natively vegan options, and other dishes that can be made vegan with slight modifications. The restaurant has a nice, upscale atmosphere without feeling stuffy. Our server, Andy was the star of the show, however. He was super-friendly and very knowledgeable about which menu items we could order as vegans. If you should happen to make a stop at Musume, make sure to ask for Andy.“
