“Walked in and sat at the bar. Bar tender attended me right away. I decided to try their 14 oz steak with Okra’, sweet potatoes, and bread! Man, that steak came out nice and hot! It tasted just the way I like it! No evidence was left on my plate of its existence! The sides and bread were the right touch to satisfy my evening hungry!

Very please with the bar tender’s attention and speed of the food.

Place has a lot of seating space for large parties to single person.“

We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. Meets and exceeds our high standards to perfection. Don't miss this delightful experience. There are many things that makes the pulled pork extraordinary. Quality. Pecan smoked, not common to Texas. The owner came to our table and was very nice and helpful. The pickled radishes, kimchi and the kimchi pickles sides are my favorite. (We even bought a jar of kimchi to take with us). “We came in from out of town. Our family recommended us to go eat there! It was our first time eating Korean BBQ! We loved it!!!! Our children liked the shrimp tempura, shrimp friend rice and ramen. Make sure you order just the regular broth with the ramen 🍜 if it’s for your kids. If not it’s a bit spicy if you don’t. It’s very temp hot too. Ethan are server was pleasant and attentive. The lady who took my order and gave me my food was so nice, I wish I had gotten her name. She hoped I had a blessed day, and she was so sunny and cheerful when she said it, I knew she meant it.

“Came here for the first time. Ordered the BBQ Mix Plate which consists of 2 scoops white rice, 1 scoop mac salad, bbq chicken, bbq beef, and bbq kalbi. The whole plate is legit and tastes exactly like back home in Hawaii. Not too many people can perfect the mac salad from home, but this place is delicious. It’s a perfect side dish to along the powerful flavor of the bbq meats. I also ordered the spam musubi. And just like home, the plate is expensive too lol, but it’s definitely worth it whenever I’m at any L&L because I don’t have one near my side of town. On this particular day, we had a Hawaii live music event. Kainoa & Friends also plays at various L&L locations for free, so please be sure to check him and his crew out. They’re amazing and worth going. I’ve posted the 2025 schedule for Kainoa.

Great service, I needed help with a office lunch order. I tried ordering online and the earliest time it gave was 12:15 after calling 2 other bill millers that told me no they can't change the time this one said it was fine to let them know when order was placed and they would work with me on pickup. I got there and staff already knew so it was a breeze getting in and out. Good was hot and tasty“

I'm so used to the serving sizes other barbecue places give for that amount, that I was astonished at the amount of sausage and brisket I was given. Travis, the manager, brought our food out to us and held the receipt with pencil lines through each item indicating that he personally made sure we got everything we paid for! There were about 10 cars in front of me in the drive thru line but within 14 minutes I was in and out of the parking lot.
My kids love the buckaroo chicken tender meal, very fair in size it almost seems to be the size of a regular combo #4. Only difference that I noticed is a kids drink versus a regular sized cup.
