“This place is a nice little spot, with seating inside and nice on the front patio as well (hopefully they get more comfortable chairs for the inside one day) Its a nice vibe and pretty solid spot for a date. The service was pretty good and they were all nice and very accommodating. I wanted to give the food 5 star because some of it i do rate very highly but some others weren't quite there. To start the shrimp cocktail was good, the shrimp are massive and both sauces served with them are good as well. Bills burger (no tomato and grill the onions) is a Top 5 burger I have ever had, the patties are made with brisket and short rib and those things are flavor packed, and you combine that with great cheese, sauce and a great bun and its hard to beat. The chicken fried steak was a bit on the tougher side but not terrible, and the crawfish Mac & cheese was solid but not quite as good as I expected but was still solid for sure. I cant wait to go back and try more stuff! The burger I give a 9.0/10 and Overall I give the place an 8.1/10“

“We are briefly visiting Austin, Texas for the first time and your restaurant was recommended at the last minute by our hotel, and we are so grateful. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary there last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I believe the hostess name was Amanda and she saw we were a bit low-spirited and overwhelmed at arrival and made sure everything was handled with care for what was left of our anniversary. From the beautiful table, to picture taking, ambience, and a flaming baked Alaska at the end, we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you Amanda and Truluck’s for providing an 11th hour extremely special experience.“

“I saw The Shore on my Google map and clicked on the link. I saw their Happy Hour Menu and noticed they had 1/2 price Oysters and several other choices. We decided to stop there on our way back home. We got there at 3:30 and found that they would not open until 4 pm due to an earlier water leak. We asked if we could just sit at the bar until they opened because we really wanted to have oysters for our anniversary. The manager said since we were wanting oysters we could sit at the bar and get drinks and the oysters. Chef Cody explained all the different oysters offered and we decided to let him choose the oysters and we were not disappointed . He chose the gulf coast, summer time, Black moon and pink moon. All the options were fresh tasting with just a touch of saltiness . We also had the mussels with fries. We have not had mussels this good in a very long time. the broth was thick with butter, wine and capers. The grilled ciabatta bread was so buttery and crispy we ordered additional pieces. The calamari was lightly breaded rings and tentacles and were heavenly. We also tried the Hi Mexican Lager on tap, it was light and smooth. Our bartender was very sweet and helpful with our choices. We also would like to thank the manager who being so accommodating to us and making our 42nd anniversary so special. We will definitely stop there again!!!!!“

“We made a reservation here for my boyfriend’s birthday and had an amazing time! We sat outside on the deck, and the ambiance was great. The sourdough and smoked salmon dip was delicious and everyone loved their entrees. Molly, our server, was absolutely fantastic! She brought a dessert out for my boyfriend with a candle at the end of our meal and played a harmonica while we sang happy birthday. We couldn’t have asked for a better night. Will be back again!“

“Went last night for the second time, and just like the first, it was SO good! Everything from the calamari, Tarzan sauce, pad Sew ew (sorry if that’s a little off) and crawfish etouffee, so so amazing. My husband and I couldn’t stop talking about it. Definitely try it out. “First, we were late and I don't want to encourage being late, but it's the truth and we walked in at exactly 15 minutes after. The staff saw my frazzled self as I apologetically explained and they said not to worry. They'd take care of us. I'm not gonna lie, we were seated and still frustrated with ourselves and our waitress managed to make us feel warm and welcomed and totally calmed us down with her understanding and calm manner. From there on, we enjoyed a wonderful selection of dishes. The first was the fire roasted tomatoes with burrata. It's too good to describe. I had the lobster scampi this time and omg it was delicious. My husband always has the red fish which is favorite and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you, Red Ash, for understanding and making us feel so welcomed and thank you to our waitress, whose name I can't recall, for soothing us.“

“Got a chance to try Beaux Southern Seafood and it was a delicious trip down South. The fried catfish plate came out golden and flaky, and their jumbo shrimp po’boy with remoulade sauce was perfectly balanced. Also dug into their shrimp & grits — creamy, comforting, and full of flavor.
The setting is cozy and unpretentious, which works well for this style of food. Staff were welcoming and quick to answer menu questions (especially about spice levels and daily catches). A great spot for southern seafood done right.“
