“Delicious, fresh seafood and reasonable prices for large portions. I’ve been three times now and it’s becoming my go-to spot when I visit the Way South Food Truck Park. I highly recommend trying Beaux if you’re a fan of Po Boys or fish. Try the fried oysters and the coleslaw!“

Looks iffy but the drive is open from both directions on 5th and that valet service is excellent and friendly. We all had fish for some reason and it was great. Waiter was top notch.“

“I have had oysters in Oregon, NYC, Chicago & Houston. This is my first oyster bar in Austin and it has topped my previous experiences in the places before! From MA, PEI to RI they were shucked to perfection. The service was just as awesome. Chef sent two TX oysters & even though gulf isn’t my favorite; these two were definitely up to par.
Lobster was great, they were served with skinny fries but not the annoying skinny you can barely eat…they were so good!
If i was a tiktoker i would so make a video about this place! 100/10“

“I saw The Shore on my Google map and clicked on the link. I saw their Happy Hour Menu and noticed they had 1/2 price Oysters and several other choices. We decided to stop there on our way back home. We got there at 3:30 and found that they would not open until 4 pm due to an earlier water leak. We asked if we could just sit at the bar until they opened because we really wanted to have oysters for our anniversary. The manager said since we were wanting oysters we could sit at the bar and get drinks and the oysters. Chef Cody explained all the different oysters offered and we decided to let him choose the oysters and we were not disappointed . He chose the gulf coast, summer time, Black moon and pink moon. All the options were fresh tasting with just a touch of saltiness . We also had the mussels with fries. We have not had mussels this good in a very long time. the broth was thick with butter, wine and capers. The grilled ciabatta bread was so buttery and crispy we ordered additional pieces. The calamari was lightly breaded rings and tentacles and were heavenly. We also tried the Hi Mexican Lager on tap, it was light and smooth. Our bartender was very sweet and helpful with our choices. We also would like to thank the manager who being so accommodating to us and making our 42nd anniversary so special. We will definitely stop there again!!!!!“

“My wife and I had a wonderful Mothers' Day dinner at downtown Austin's Truluck's. My New York Strip steak was an excellent cut of beef and perfectly cooked. Our waitress saw to our every request, including letting me sample two wines to make sure I got the one I preferred. The Baked Alaska desert was even better than the one I had in Anchorage. Everything was clean and the interior was very attractive.“

The flavor depth was unbelievable, and the heat from their inhouse salsa was at that perfect level where it hurts but you can't stop. The quality of the fish was amazing. “My best friend brought me to this neighborhood spot place as I love mezcals. The hostess greeted us with a smile and took us to the patio where the ambiance and interior is inviting taking you on an escape from Austin as if in another part of the world. The spirits selection is amazing. But this was just a simple night out to have an after dinner drink and a birthday dessert. What made a simple night into something extraordinary and awesome was the donning experience.

She greeted us with a warming smile and guided us through the cocktail menu. Recommending a a take on a penicillin which is my favorite go to, was served up not on the rocks and tasted amazing. She engaged great conversation with us that just felt real and genuine. She brought a piece of back home with the experience she brought to the table. Looking forward to the full dinner adventure for next time.

I grabbed one of each. The toppings were so fresh and crispy and delicious. But let's talk about the seafood. Fried to utter perfection the taste was delicious. Some of the best seafood tacos I've had in a very long time.

I finally got to a place i really wanted to eat at, because i have been here before and i absolutely love the food, only to find out i do not have enough to tip. I was devastated.

However, our server was not. She actually was amazing throughout our entire experience. She made us feel like family. From the complimentary butter, to the oh so properly dressed drinks, she was 100% on point. And i did not tip. My goodness i felt like royalty with the level of service that this server/bartender was able to provide. Almost immediately upon entering we were greeted with a coloring page for our child. Now that is top tier. ALSO, i was otw to the bathroom, the same server looks down the hallway and says the code for the door! I didn’t even know about the keypad! This woman was on top of absolutely everything!

She let me come in a little sooner than our reservation so I could set up the table with birthday decor! The food and drinks were delicious! We had a beautiful table out on the patio for 12 and Ian took very good care of us! Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday brunch so special! We will be back and will definitely recommend this spot to our friends!“
