“We love Hat Creek for the kids, just watch your things. My child has left something in the play area 2x now & clearly they walk off. It is her responsibility (and mine) to watch her things but both times I called when we were less than 15 min away from the restaurant to be told that her items were unable to be located - or “someone must have taken them.” It’s been highly disappointing as her initial loss was a headband with her name on it & her most recent loss was a jacket + a bracelet from her sister.“

“Awesome food spot, all the shrimp was excellent. The videos of surfing were a really cool touch, as well as all the surfboards in the rafters. They pile butter on the rice which we did not like, but everything else was fantastic. Will definitely be back!“

“I ordered from Doordash, and that was a fiasco, so I would not recommend this if staying at a hotel (the dasher left my food outside). I was livid, to say the least, but when I dug in with my fingers (I got no utensils or napkins), the food was FANTASTIC! I have eaten tex mex in California and Mexico, and it was great, but Tommy Tamale is the absolute truth. I literally ate cheese, beans, and tamales with my hands because it was that good. I'm not upset anymore... I am full!“

“Short version:Beautiful place, awkward start, very good food.Long Version:This visit was quite interesting. On Easter Sunday, just after noon, I expected this place to be packed. However, we were seated immediately and there were very few occupied tables. The building is very nicely done on the outside, and there is plenty of parking. Inside, it has a very elegant feel with stone and dark wood throuout and modern lighting fixtures. There is a beautiful bar set to the side with its own seating and even a semi-private area beyond it. I noticed a completely private room to the left of the entry which looks inviting for private lunch/dinner meetings. They have effectively used a lot of glass windows to create an uncongested feel.The thing that really struck me as a first impresssion is how we were seated and what happened next. Nothing. The entire restaurant is set up with completely blank tables, which creates a very uneasy feeling that we were there before they were open or ready for us. Not even a center piece or even salt and pepper. The Hostess placed a menus for the two of us and we just sat. It was very quiet and they did have music playing softly, but there was no real buzz or excitement. So, for 5 minutes we just sat. A lady did stop by and place a basket of chips and a couple small salsas and did say a polite 'hello'. Then, we continued to sit, without contact or even a napkin for 10 minutes. I only mention this because it was really uncomfotable. We saw a busser pass through and two waiters who pushed a few tables together for a 10 top family that was coming and ran food to the bar table. Still, just walking by and not even looking at us. Just odd.Finally, a waiter stopped and asked if we needed something to drink. He did not introduce himself which makes an odd situation even more odd. Yes, chips & salsa with no napkins, etc was awkward and making us thirsty. We ordered the queso with beef and sodas.Here is where it gets better. When he very quickly brought the queso he provided a utensil roll. At that time he asked about ordering. I asked for recommendations and he very estutely inquired about what I was looking for. He provided a primary and secondary recommdation. I asked about another item in comparison and he stuck with his primary as a choice, so that's what I ordered. Well done.The menu is extensive and diverse. Quite a few options.The food came out in a timely manner and both items we ordered were quite good and pleasantly suprising on portion size. Both of us could only eat about half. We had the Cocina Changa and the Pollo Moderno. We very much enjoyed the presentation and flavor or the food. The Moderno lets you create your own rolls with the pico/guac/ and the sauteed veggies or onion, mushroom and cabbage make for a fun and engaging experience and crafted to your own taste. The rice with the Moderno was delicious, too. The Changas (combo beef and chicken as our choice) were quite good and quite large. The chicken edged out the beef, I believe but both are quite good.When we werew done, the waiter brought a tray with to go containers so we didn't have to ask. Then, he took our items, packaged them for us in very nice folding boxes, added a bag of fresh chips and salsa container, and placed in a very nice to-go bag (impressive and classy).As a side note, the bathrooms were also very modern, well kept, and clean.The buzz only picked up slightly while we were there, but still remained very quiet.So even though I made some interesting observations because of the slightly odd experience, I will definetely return and recommend to others.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessable“

“We were looking to try something different and this restaurant came up in a Google search. One the main reasons for trying this restaurant was the GF menu items. Everything we had (we sampled several dishes) was great. Service was a little slow, but we still enjoyed the food and will be back. ☺️Dietary restrictions: They have GF options for nearly all their Apps and Entreys“

“So the for the first time in we tried the pickup order. It wasn't very clear walking in where you were supposed to go. The walls were really busy and it was fairly busy at the line so it's possible I just missed it. I eventually had to ask the staff were to go and they told me to walk around the back, there I found the to go counter.Ok, food. The brisket was very good. It was not overpowered with smoke and had a very good balance to it. The sausage was good, but it kind of hit like a breakfast sausage. Not a deal killer, just not what I'm used to. The okra was a tad greasy but it was good.Mac and cheese was great, the kids killed that. And the desert was the banana pudding. It was alright, it tasted a bit artificial to me. However, it was sweet and worked out fine; although I don't think I'll be getting that again. I'll probably try the cobbler.I liked the atmosphere there, I'll probably come back again with the family and have a sit down. Overall it was a good first visit, and I'll likely come back.“

“I needed to order a cake for someone with a VERY strict diet. DeVivo Bros. was the only place that would consider taking this vegan and dairy free cake order. They were up front with me and told me this is a first-time order but he did his research and was willing to give it a try. This cake not only turned out beautiful but was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! “Went here today for my parents 41st Anniversary dinner. Not only was the food amazing, but the entire experience was wonderful! The hostess showed us all of the specials and explained each one, the waiter Michael was extremely attentive and provided amazing service. The manager came over to introduce herself as well and even made our dessert at the table. My wife says the Gnocchi is the best she’s ever had! The steak is better than any other steakhouse in the area! Beyond all of this, my mother is handicap and uses a walker. At the end of our night Michael walked us out and held the door open for us. Best experience at a restaurant you could ask for. Highly recommend to everyone!“

“I went here and spent $20 on basically a half a bag worth of pastries! I got them for my mom's birthday, I wish I got to try some but she ate ALL of them in 24 hours!! So it had to be good then BreadHaus makes their stuff fresh EVERY day and each item looks SO good!!! The lady that served me was really nice! And the place just looks German!! “I love this place so much! They have so many things that are great for your gut health! It’s so fresh and pretty affordable. The coffee is out of this world! It’s organic and super fresh and tasty. I use to go to Starbucks everyday and the coffee there started giving me gut issues and it was making me feel bad. I come here almost every day now and the energy I get is clean and it’s helps me with my digestive issues and I don’t crash at the end of the day. I was having issues with my pancreas and this place really helped me man. The dessert is also so damn good ?“

“I ordered the beef pho, which was not highlighted on the menu but was exceptionally good. My son ordered the wonton soup, and it was so perfectly earthy that we actually got another set of bowls so we could share each other’s dishes. My fiancé ordered the classic Tom Yum, and “yum” perfectly described it.I still can’t believe how good the food was!The service was great as well, very intimate, and we were checked on often. A few of the servers were on their phones at the front of the house, which is always a negative, but our server wasn’t, so I’m not holding it against her.They also gave us Thai Tea on the house, which was delightful! “My husband and I gave this place one last try last night (we have had either bad/slow service or not-so-great food the last several times we came) but we love the variety of the menu and had our first date here, so like I said, we agreed one last chance before we pick a new date night spot. Thankfully, we had the absolute best service and food ever! I feel bad bc I forgot the girl's name, but I think it was Clarissa. Anyways, she was delightfully present and had such a warm personality, without being annoying or overly present. Like, she brought my extra thirsty husband refills without interupting our conversation, but since she got our order right the first time and didn't forget any of our condiment requests as I'm used to, we didn't have to run her as much as servers in the past and it was quite nice. Oh and we had never tried yalls deserts, as we usually go for ice cream afterwards, but when we mentioned that, she suggested we save a trip and try the "best ever vanilla cheesecake." “My husband and I love this place! Both their food and service is really amazing! We've tried multiple Thai places, and this is the very best. Our favorite is always chicken pad thai, but their curry is also pretty amazing. “We ordered an 8" round red velvet cake for my son's 40th birthday on a short 2-day notice and said they didn't need to do anything fancy with the icing. I spoke with Sharon when I placed the order, and she was very helpful and kind. She said they would get it done with no problem; it was quite a relief. The day I picked it up, the staff was friendly, and the store was clean and cute. We were so pleased with the way it looked; they added extra touches to the icing. Everyone loved the cake; it was delicious and very moist. Next time, we may need a bigger cake. :-) We will be buying all of our (Fort Worth family) cakes from Creative Memories from now on and will definitely be recommending them. Wish we had Creative Memories in Houston.“

“My Daughter and I love coming to the shop. It’s out mother and daughter tradition that we come every Wednesday after practice and have delicious ice cream. I love their different flavors. My daughters favorite so far is coconut cream die. I’m still trying to decide which one is best cause they’re so many. I love how they have other ice creams if we missed last week. You can choose your own topping and of course they have not just ice cream but also shakes, root beer, and they even sell ice cream cakes and pie too. It’s worth going with the kids and family and the owner is very sweet too.“

We paid with a credit card, but not thinking, I paid the delivery person again in cash and tip I collected from our family for lunch. “I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this weekly standby! I’ve had several of their dishes and have enjoyed them all. I especially love the chili-garlic green beans appetizer, the veggie spring rolls, and kung pao shrimp. Extra heat please, which they’re always glad to provide. “This is a great coffee spot in the area that offers lots of seating and a pretty solid collection of board games, makes it a great spot to do work or catch up with friends. “AMAZING!! My daughter and I shared a small. Yes this was a small!! It was so delicious I almost went back and ordered a second one. I had been to this same location a couple of years ago, and they had the hard crunchy snow cones, so I hadn’t been back. “It has been years since I’ve had Coal Vines, and this was my first visit to the Southlake location.Very quaint and inviting ambience inside with low light and tabletop candles - somewhat noisy but nice atmosphere.Complimentary zucchini chips were great.Spinach salad was also very good, but would prefer more pear and walnuts and less Gorgonzola, as it is VERY Gorgonzola heavy between the cheese and dressing itself.Pizza was probably the best I’ve had in a long time! Sauce had a perfect flavor, high-quality cheese and the crust has thin, but substantial enough to not be soggy like some neopolitan styles can be.Service was attentive and friendly. Will absolutely come back - I prefer this pizza to the other local options.“

“My family has spent the last few years looking for what we believe to be the best sushi near us. We all love Cowtown Sushi because of the consistency and quality of their menu. The staff is always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It's nice enough for a date, but not overly stuffy. The pride in the craft is apparent not only in the taste, but also in the presentation, especially the Mt Fuji roll that has become a must have on the list of rolls we order during a visit. If I had to point out a flaw, it would only be the halogen track lighting, while mostly well controlled and balanced so you can see your food and dining companions a handful of seat positions in the restaurant get the spotlight effect and it can be straining on your eyes.“

I'm sure this is by design, so you end up filling it up and buying more yogurt which is priced by the ounce, but I feel like it melts faster when you have just a little in the bottom of a huge container. I would rather a smaller cup where it's not so spread out and stays frozen long enough to eat it. Regardless I would definitely go back; the selection is good and the prices reasonable.“
