“We had an amazing experience at Gringo’s thanks to our waiter, Carlo. He was an excellent server — very attentive, friendly, and on top of everything all night. Our drinks were always full, and he checked on us often without ever being intrusive. Most importantly, he went above and beyond to make my 7-year-old daughter’s birthday feel truly special. He made her smile, made sure she felt celebrated, and created a fun and memorable experience for her. She talked about it the whole way home! “I was in the area and looked up “food near me” and this popped up. AMAZING! That’s all I have to say. I had the brown stew chicken with rice, cabbage, and fried plantains and I want to say it’s some of the best Jamaican food I’ve had in a while.

I do have to say, when I went it was 11:00am and it was very quiet. They didn’t have any music playing which would’ve been nice but it was still peaceful. Give it a try!”

The lady who runs the place might come off a little intense at first lol, but don’t take it the wrong way, she just takes pride in her business like everyone els would. She genuinely wants every customer to have the best meal possible. It’s not rude, it’s passion.

Food and drink prices are quite reasonable and the portions are of good size. I enjoyed one of the best burgers I’ve ever had: lots of flavor, perfectly cooked, and generous toppings. The onion rings are huge and delicious and the sweet potato fries were perfect. The service was as good as the food. “My family ordered the Thanksgiving Heat and Serve Feast. The Rosenberg location had the drive through pick up set up which made it super convenient. The food was neatly packed in a sturdy box and the pie was separate in a bag. We had the opportunity to meet with the store manager Maryann and she was so pleasant and friendly to talk to. She made sure everything was up to par and had excellent communication with her staff. Her staff were also friendly. Despite all the hustle and bustle due to the holiday season, the staff here were amazing and polite. We truly love this location and the food here!”

“Alba and Tiffany handle the front counter with style and grace. I’ve always been a thigh guy (just ask my wife😂) but I have to admit I was nervous about trying a chicken buffet. I came in around 11:30 on Friday and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. Food was more than fresh it was HOT! I wanted to eat my chicken faster but my fingers couldn’t handle the burn 🔥. I can’t wait to bring my family to fully enjoy the buffet. Inside is spacious and clean…they even had some radio tunes playing. On nights we don’t feel like cooking we will be here taking advantage of great service and local pricing! Thank you Calvin for blessing the Rosenberg community!”

“The food is SO good here!!! Growing up in South Texas my parents would take us out to eat at little hole in the wall type of places and the food was soooo good. This place took me back to those days. The staff is friendly. I've had the classic and their fish sandwich(grilled), both were so delicious!! Can't wait to go back and try all their burgers!!”
