A friend at work recommended I visit Los Gallos Bakery and that turned out to be great advice! The good people at Los Gallos were happy to help me select a nice variety of Mexican holiday pastries and treats. The price for the number of items I picked out was more than fair - and the baked goods were the hit of the dinner! I highly recommend Los Gallos Bakery as THE place to go for fresh, delicious baked goods!“

“I've been going to this breakfast burrito place for at least 5 years now off and on. I'll try another place other than this one every once in a while and always come back to this very place . There is no other one that is even on the same level or could even stand a chance against it because on the 5 star rating they are above and beyond the other competitors on authenticity, the consistent friendly and welcoming staff, her coffee is the best in town by far than the other breakfast burrito places. Just the food alone is amazing, but they are my go to for breakfast burritos, tamales, and just a great cup of coffee as well. Would recommend you at least try one time and it will speak for itself I already know. “On Thursday August 3rd my 92 year old grandma lost her cane at the restaurant. We were hung up on when we called. Owner was listened to my concerns on how we were treated. But, the male tall waiter, kind of bald, was rude. Even after a very good tip. Shame on you, sir, for such poor manners. If you have my grandma's cane please return.“

“The food here was good. Wasn't anything amazing but not too bad either. The service was pleasant and attentive but the atmosphere feels old. A lot could be done with the place to spruce it up a bit. It doesn't look nearly as good as in the pictures- it's frankly a bit run down looking/feeling.

I will say, I ordered a meal with jalapeños and most places get rid of most spice - I like my meals spicy so that was good they left the heat intact - but be warmed they do not de-seed their jalapeños and I got a very spicy one in my meal. Not expecting it but some may have had a huge issue with that heat. If you order anything with spice be sure to manage it according to your tolerance. Wow it was a scorcher. I can relatively handle heat and it made me sweat and eyes water.“

“Steak & Fish Tacos is what caught our eyes on the menu. Both were excellent. Came with 6 street taco size tortills to build our own. Don't live in San Angelo, but is in our GPS under favorites, so will definitely go back the next time we're in town.“
