“Good was lovely … only complaint I have is the staff with the To-go orders I ordered twice in one day and both times they messed the order up so if you do order online make sure to check your items they forgot my drink a1 sauce for the steak and sauce for my broccoli second time I was missing my bread and silverware and drink . Please be considerate of those who order to-go treat them as if we are dining in thank you .“

“Every dish was great - the flounder, redfish, and fried chicken mains, the crunchy Brussles sprouts leaves side and Brussels Caesar salad, the glass jar of sublime chicken liver mousse with pickled onions and thin crunchy ciabatta toasts, and the sweet, crisp banana fritters with a superb vanilla ice cream. Our server, Sara, knew all about everything on the menu, and she made great suggestions on what to order. We enjoyed sitting outside on a lovely evening. All said, a perfect experience!“

“This was about our 5th time going and we brought our friends from out of town. We hyped up the Bucatini because it's one of our top 3 favorite dishes in Austin. It was a huge let down to find out that they removed it from the menu. I would give fewer stars because of how upset I am about the Bucatini being gone, but our food was good and our waiter Jeremiah was exceptional.“

It was a hot day but most tables were in shade and there were fans around so the heat wasn’t really a big deal. “My friends and I went tonight for the first time to celebrate a friends birthday. The atmosphere was exquisite, staff was impeccable, food was amazing and the Manager Elliot was so awesome!!! For the dining experience we had, they should be charging 2-3x more for their food and we would gladly pay it. It is a small restaurant so reservations are needed to make sure they have availability. I highly recommend The Carillon Restaurant, it’s truly a gem. We will be back very soon 😋“

“Considering that I'm a vegetarian and this is (obviously) a very meat-y restaurant, this was a very good experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming, the decor is elegant, the semi-outdoor seating was pleasantly breezy on a hot day (I could do without the huge TVs, but that's me). I simply wanted to get a quick drink with an old friend and we chose Carve purely because of its location. We arrived during their happy hour (which starts at 3:00). We ordered a couple of tasty cocktails and an order of the cheesy cauliflower sticks -- delicious! The happy hour prices certainly made me happy, and the charming waiter checked back in at sensible intervals and remained good humored and attentive even when it must have become obvious that we were not going to be ordering more. I noticed that the menu includes some attractive vegetarian/vegan options and will bear Carve in mind for family celebration meals where there are carnivores as well as vegetarians to feed. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that they failed to include the tip I thought I'd added to the credit card slip and I realized when I checked my account that I hadn't left a tip at all -- apologies if that was my fault!!“

“The food was delicious and we loved being able to order a bunch of sides to dine family style. While there was no smaller steak portion than 16oz, my husband and I happily shared it and it was more than plenty for 2. The waitress was great, super attentiive and patient with a group of 8 who did a lot of talking before being ready to order. The rolls and jalapeno cornbread were delish, the green beans amazing and the macaroni and cheese was decadent. We loved the desert..sad the carrot cake was out, but the pumpkin cheesecake was delicous as was the montrosity of tiramisu chocolate cake. The ambiance was great and we enjoyed being very relaxed and not rushed to enjoy the conversation and the dinner.“
