“We enjoyed an absolutely beautiful meal here with breathtaking views. The food was exquisite and high quality. The servers were attentive and accommodating. One area of improvement was the cocktail - just ok. Overall, one of the best meals to day. Get the bison tenderloin.“

“The lodge is good enough and had a fireplace to warm up nearby. I would expect for Solitude that they would have a stellar lodge and so I was a little disappointed it was pretty average (food, ambiance, seating).It is a convenient place to sit and work or read while my kids are boarding. I usually bring my noise cancelling headset which helps drown out the loudness of all the kiddos in the lodge. They have a few charging plugs available for patrons as well. I make sure to charge up and then unplug so other people have a chance to share the outlets. You'll usually see several people working on their laptops.“

This was supplemented by a fantastic popover, dark chocolate, a refreshing palate cleanser, and a mini appetizer at the start (all complimentary). “We had a wonderful experience celebrating our anniversary at Powder! Food was top-notch! Super yummy and got some unique and special choices, and large selection of wine. The free bread is super soft and fresh. We've got Scollops and a poached fish dish for entrées. The dishes are not only delicious, but beautifully presented as well! They gifted us a dessert - crème brûlée - we were too full to finish it but it's creamy and tasty as well. The outdoor seating in Summer time is so peaceful and comfortable, but beware of wasp. ;) The staff were all awesome and friendly. Our service (Shirley, if I remember correctly) was very helpful and caring. Pricing is in the mid/high range but it's definitely decent value for the quality. P.S. Valet parking is free, just don't forget to tip ;)“

“This was my first time at Apex Steak and it was such a great experience! The food tasted amazing and the presentation was impeccable. The sourdough bread loaf was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Melted in my mouth with the honey butter. The Empire salad had interesting and unique flavors and was a refreshing start to the meal. We also had the filet and lobster, both absolutely delicious. The mac and cheese was good, but probably the least exciting part of the meal. The asparagus au gratin was delightful. Then just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the desserts arrived and they were out of this world! My wife and I shared a creme brûlée and chocolate conifer for dessert--they both looked incredible and tasted even better. One of the best meals I've had in a long time!“

But as far as American eateries, The Farm is pretty good. I commend Vail Resorts, the manager, for that.
The menu Is creative with many interesting dishes.
Service was very good.
The venue is nice at the base of the maintain. Dishes are somewhat pricy.
