“Visited when in town for a wedding and Franklin Ave became our go-to stop. Their food is delicious. On our last night they were busy and we could only be seated downstairs. We sat at the bar and had appetizers while we watched three incredible bartenders show their talents with all of the mixers, tinctures,etc. Very highly recommend!“

“This restaurant is a gem!! It is nestled in the Avenues of SLC. The restaurant’s atmosphere is so charming- it’s in an old home that was converted to the restaurant. There are lovely windows in the front that you can look out onto the Avenue. There is outdoor seating when the weather is warm. The service is fantastic! Cascade was our server. She is exceptional!! They are able to accommodate food allergies easily. The food is amazing!! It is so flavorful and cooked to perfection! The presentation is beautiful! We had the Pickled Beet Salad, Fish and Chips and Mountain Hamburger. Again, everything was cooked and presented with perfection!! I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.“

“The staff at Hug-Hes tonight were truly a godsend. We were about an hour from home, looking for a place to eat, and decided to stop in. We had our 5-year-old with us and were pleasantly surprised by the variety on the kids’ menu.

While we were waiting for our food, our son suddenly got sick and threw up—nothing related to the restaurant at all. He was panicked, and we needed to head home quickly. As my wife helped clean him up, I worked with the staff to take care of the mess. They were incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful throughout the entire situation.

I was very apologetic and asked if we could cancel our order, and there was absolutely no hesitation. Their only concern was making sure we could get our child home and taken care of. The manager was especially amazing—I didn’t catch her name, but she went out of her way to support us and make sure everything was handled smoothly.

Because of the staff alone, we will definitely be returning. Also, the beer bread was excellent“

“My husband and I had dinner there a few nights ago and the food was fabulous. My pork osso buco was so tender and my husband’s chicken provoleta was equally delicious. We also had the spinach and artichoke dip with artisan flat bread and the multi layer chocolate cake and loved both. My education is in design so I pay close attention to my surroundings. The restaurant is beautifully designed and not overdone and from what I saw every table in the restaurant has a view of the city. The flatware was the perfect weight and designed by the well known British designer Robert Welch and lastly the beautiful linens are manufactured in Italy for a beautiful soft finishing touch. All and all it was a wonderful dinner and the staff was perfect, especially our server Sam she was very professional. When we were leaving we saw one of the chefs and told him how much we loved our dinner. He informed us that they have only been open for a week and a half. We were really surprised. I’ve been to other restaurants that have been open for months and can’t get the food and staff in sync no matter how hard they try. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back and will be bringing friends.“

“The experience at Tucson Bistro was incredible, thanks to Mr. Keval! They are an amazing mixologist who created the best drinks anyone has ever had. “We were trying to eat downtown but couldn’t find a parking spot and from not knowing the area got kinda frustrated. We saw Legends on the map and a parking lot! Pulling up I was unsure but don’t let the weird mini strip mall scare you! The food was great! 5 star dive bar! Home made fries, chili and the spicy aioli were all so good!“

They have ludicrous hours (closing the grill at 6:45, the peak of dinner time???). My wife and I have also noticed multiple times where the grill workers will move at a snails pace from 6:15 until they close it at 6:45. I don't know if that's intentional, but it's frustrating to be in line for 25 minutes and then they just close the grill station. At no other time of day, no matter how busy, does it take 25 minutes at the grill.“

Parking: We have a disabled placard which made parking in visitor parking easy. We went on a Monday and there was both self & valet parking at the Huntsman. A flute & a string instrument played by 2 volunteers set ambience of the day! The whole experience was impressive.“

“This is a beautiful lounge located within the Grand American Hotel. The place is super classy and a great establishment to visit for date night or a sophisticated after work meeting place. We couldn't recommend Gibson Lounge highly enough. Loved the atmosphere here, and the bread pudding is awesome, BTW!“

Alice’s is located in a very industrial area but the interior is quirky, fun, and relaxed. Great service. I’d recommend it! I’d love to try their breakfast sometime. Looks like they’re open until 2:00 pm with strong breakfast and lunch options.“
