“Had incredible time here for happy hour. I recommend the pomegranate margarita, and the mojito. The quesadilla was amazing and so were the pork and beef tacos. Beautiful atmosphere and the staff was excellent. FYI happy hour is for the bar only so don’t worry about booking a reservation if you’re looking to do happy hour.“
“We dine frequently at La Piquette with a friend who lives nearby and it's consistently lovely. The food quality and portions, the wine, the warm atmosphere, the attentive but unobtrusive service - everything lends itself to just the evening we're hoping for.“
“Delicious gluten-free breads and other baked goods! They make sandwiches with said GF breads as well and label their ingredients thoroughly, which I deeply appreciate. The owner, JC, is a genuine gem! He started out with the mission of making food and breads his wife could eat. From there, he branched out to offer this shared labor of love with other folks with dietary restrictions. The effort and love that goes into the community through happy tummies cannot be understated!Vegetarian options: There are some GF crepes and GF sandwich options which include no meat. Additionally, you can ask them to remove the meat in an otherwise meat inclusive option.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread and GF options!“
“D Light Cafe is SO good, but it is unfortunately very difficult to find space here, especially after 1pm. I came here today around 3pm, hoping to try the lemon tart cake, but left after there was no seating, so I hope that D Light is able to figure out options for outdoor seating, similar to what Ruta's in Eastern Market does. The servers are so kind, and care a lot about the safety of their customers. I just feel bad that they are targeted by individuals trying to rob them and harass their patrons because this place does have a space in my heart.I really like the coffees and desserts here. Their cakes are always tasty, although the honey cake could have used a bit more moisture. Their croissants are also amazing, and complement the coffees that they serve. My favorite coffees would have to be the pink dream latte and red eye.I hope to come back here again. Highly recommend visiting if you are ever in Adam's Morgan.“
“I really liked everything about this place. Food was fancy/good but still fairly affordable (about ~$40/person for lunch). Our waiter was just such a delight, I don't remember his name (I wish I did) but he was friendly and funny ?♥️“
“I got the chai cupcake from Baked and Wired, and I personally didn't like the flavor as much. The cupcake itself felt a little dry, but the icing was decent. The thai iced tea was pretty good though. Regarding the atmosphere, it honestly felt a bit too noisy with the music and crowd to study, so I wouldn't recommend this place as a study spot, but the coffee was nice. Also, getting wifi is a problem here because it's so close to the waterfront.“
“The clams were amazing! All of the food is super fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is amazing and the dancing is incredible! The service is great and everyone is so nice! Definitely recommend, the food is very authentic and is to die for!“
“Christina is the Best! She so pleasant and nice. She could run the entire Resturant. She’s always smiling. Knows everyone by name. Knows most regulars drinks and just super pleasant! Always great to see her and drink my morning caffeine drink.“
“Found them on Google with great reviews. Ordered the Chocolate Delight cake and it was both beautiful as well as delicious and not overly sweet. Sam was great to work with, quickly responded to my questions and very professional. I can't wait to try some of his other cakes!“
“While in line for La Tejana breakfast tacos, I kept seeing people walk past on the sidewalk with fresh breads and a cute canvas tote bag with a drawing of cats (and cat butts). So after we were done with tacos, we visited Elle to share sweets and coffee: Thai iced tea donut, guava turnover, snickerdoodle cookie and chocolate chip cookie. Got the last baguette and donuts at 12:30pm. Please try the sourdough baguette especially if you want to impress folks with a quality cheese board. The donut was one of the best donuts of my life. Thai iced tea flavor was not overdone with a balanced sweet icing. The donut was the springy, soft and nicely fried, I was impressed. Long line went quickly and employees were friendly and efficient with our treats and coffee (Tandem Coffee Roasters from Portland, ME). Rose Cardamom latte was very strong on the cardamom and could not pick out the rose flavor. Would ask for less flavoring next time, and I love cardamom. Trendy indoor space with a bar, sit-down restaurant and cafe section right inside the front door. Cute floral arrangements and unique original art on the walls.“
“Amazing croissants. So flakey and full of wonderful filling. A great value! The mango pannacotta was amazing! The value for the price was fantastic as well! I briefly met the owner. The sweetest person you will ever meet! If I lived in town, I would be here ALL THE TIME!“
“Absolutely loved the place and the pizza. I got the honey Sriracha chicken pizza and they have a ton of condiments to add to your liking. Plus it was free ice cream day so they let me pick one as well. Lady behind the counter was super friendly as well. 11/10“
“Great overall experience! Sean made our experience even better by serving perfect drinks and laughter. Food was amazing and we will be back. Thanks Sean for staying on top of our orders and taking the time to make sure we enjoyed our time there.“
“I stopped by Old Town's Farmers Market, snagged a few goodies from Taste of Eurasia's booth. Tasty treats were the word of the day, but I settled on some egg and cheese pastry. This item was a delicious concoction of egg and cheese, making for the perfect breakfast. I really loved runny egg yolk in the center of the pastry.. yum!The next time I stop by the market, I am most certainly making Taste of Eurasia my go to stop.“
“We live nearby, and this was our first time visiting Spice Kraft. This will DEFINITELY be added to our roster of regular stops. The food was delicious, the portions were large, and the service was great. AND they have happy hour on the weekends! The only ‘complaint’ I have is that I asked for one of the dishes to be extra spicy, and it simply wasn’t. They brought me more hot sauce, and that didn’t get to the level I’m used to either. This is absolutely a ‘me’ thing as I like my food intolerably spicy, and I will know for next time to specify that I want it “extra spicy as if I were in India” to get the right spice level!Dietary restrictions: We are both vegan, and one of us is gluten free as well, and there were plenty of options to choose from! Love that this place is so close!“
“You will lose your mind with every bite, the most incredible cookies ever! Every cookie is perfectly baked and consistent. The teamwork will help you if you ask for any information about the different products, they are fast and very friendly.Definitely, you never will regret.I only suggest some French tables inside the store considering the space available.“
“We tried 3 different croissants and all of them were amazing. We especially loved the “black sesame” one. We went there at 9am and there was a long line of people waiting outside but the croissants were worth the wait. Staff were friendly. We highly recommend it!“
“I had takeout Margherita pizza which was delicious. The best I’ve had in DC. Restaurant was crowded and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Only negative is pricing and also I asked the server for a suggestion for a salad with different meat options (i.e chopped or Greek type salad) server suggested some type of cheese filled dish with some type of meat. I don’t even know what it was but cheese was not good. I probably should have been more detailed. Tossed the salad but loved the pizza.“
“Had a good time here on a Sunday afternoon. For an appetizer i had, the Samosa, which was good, came with two dipping sauces, one sweet and one spicy. I did the create your on curry bowl. It came with curry (meat choice) with vindaloo sauce, basmathi rice, curried chickpeas, seasonal veggies, and Naan bread. To drink, I had the pretty in pink, which was just ok. The food alone was Def worth making this place a go-to restaurant anytime I'm in the area“
“My friend had her baby shower upstairs, and I fell in love with the place. I’d driven by it many times, but had never gone in. I was surprised by how cozy and welcoming the space was. There was a ton of meter parking right out front. The woman who helped us plan the shower was Kelly. She is AMAZING! She was sooo helpful and very professional. I made sure to save her info for our next event! Wonderful experience all around.“
“Title: A Bakery Bliss in DC's West EndReview:After a delicious dinner in another restaurant, I had the pleasure of visiting Tatte Bakery & Cafe shortly before closing, and it was a delightful experience. It was the perfect spot for a late-evening treat near my hotel. I ordered a cappuccino and a lemon mint tart, and both were exceptional. The cappuccino was perfectly brewed, and the tart was a refreshing blend of tangy lemon and cool mint, beautifully presented with just the right amount of sweetness. The bakery's ambiance added to the experience. It's a spacious and stylish spot with an inviting outdoor seating area that I look forward to enjoying on my next visit. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring my order was perfect even as the day was winding down. The service was impressively quick despite the late hour, adding to the overall positive experience. In addition to its delicious pastries, Tatte Bakery & Cafe offers a variety of breakfast and trim meal options, including pancakes and sandwiches, making it an excellent choice for any time of day.For anyone looking for a cozy place to end their day with a delicious pastry and a warm drink, Tatte Bakery & Cafe is a must-visit. It's a beautiful addition to the area and a spot I'll return to when I'm back in DC.“
“My beautiful grandson is in the NICU at the Children’s Hospital. Today as my daughter, her husband and grandmother arrived they were greeted with a delicious box lunch from your establishment. We’re not sure of the organization that gifted us this lunch so we say THANK YOU!“
“Was taken there for my birthday. My cocktail was superb and some of the best samosas I've had. They weren't too oily and mostly flaky and crispy. For Dinner, thw wife had Chicken Tikka Masala which tasted amazing and the chicken was very tender. It tasted "simple" and I do mean that in the nicest way considering I've had this dish at other restaurants and the flavors and spices are too overpowing. I had the Miz tandoori platter with a delicious lamb and chicken tikka. As good as they were, the star of the dish is the salmon. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Many restaurants don't get salmon right and it's usually overcooked and to my delight that was not the case here. Accompanied by the basket of naan that includes regular, onion, and garlic flavors and rice were a great combination. Raj and his staff deliver high quality of service and friendliness to the customer to go along with the delectable cuisine. Bravo Raj, bravo. I Can't wait to go back“
“In this cheery nook, where teas unite,Up the cozy stairs, a warm delight.Bubbles dance, and flavors shine so bright,A festival of teas, a merry sight.Though ramen's taste I did not seek,Its divine scent played hide and peek.Touch, taste, aroma in joyful blend,In this blissful haven, where moments mend.“
“Very accommodating for my allergy - I came in today with a large party and a restrictive dietary request. I'm currently breastfeeding an infant that has a milk protein allergy, so I cannot consume any type of dairy including butter. The manager ended up coming to our table and talking me through a number of modifications that I could do to accommodate the allergy. I really appreciated him taking the time as I was being a bit picky in my choice. Ended up with a great meal. Thanks againDietary restrictions: Dairy allergy - I would say a majority of the items contain some sort of dairy, but the manager was patient in talking me through the modifications possible. Ended up with the chicken sandwich with gluten free bun and no cheese. He also mentioned they would cook it separately“
“Fine furnishings and impeccably prepared food. Located in Park Hyatt, this restaurant could easily be stand alone location in DC. Locally sourced is the theme and open floor plan into kitchen. Probably one of best reubens I've had, top 3 easily.“
“Great food and service. Lotta breakfast dishes around $16, but portions are huge, and splitting them between 2 people is enough (but leave a larger tip.(the only downside is FOX news on large tvs. :( please consider putting sports or something instead).“
“Delicious food and gluten free options. I do wish the menu online was the same as the restaurant, it seemed there were more options for my friend than there wereDietary restrictions: There were lots of gluten free options, but fewer vegan options than I anticipated“
“Delicious food and great service. Rosie went above and beyond to make my meal perfect. When I accidentally left something in there and walked out, she came out of the building and caught my attention down the block. You can tell she really cares about her customers. I will be back!“
“This is great for a quick lunch or dinner. There is good variety and great flavors. We were a party of 5 and all ordered different variations. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. This is elevated grilled cheese for adults but lets the kids order something simple. Win win.“
“With so many options to choose from, I had to get the chef's platter to try it all! Everything was delicious. I could make a meal out of the bread and hommus! My only disappointment was that they only had 1 of the 3 Lebanese beers listed on the menu.“
“Ordering our wedding desserts from Out of the Bubble Bakery was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Several of our guests had dietary restrictions or allergies so knowing that our guests could enjoy dessert without worry was a relief, not to mention that Out of the Bubble’s desserts taste better than non-allergy friendly treats! We can’t wait to order from Out of the Bubble again. *Including a photo of the gorgeous strawberries & creme wedding cake Out of the Bubble made for us.Dietary restrictions: Allergy friendly. All desserts vegan.“
“Excellent vegan option. The herbivore is super good. Excellent tofu, it’s like a bit pan fried. Not just an afterthought like a lot of others places. Noodles super good. I did half salad half noodles. Such a fan.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“I enjoy eating at Bonefish. I usually go about 1-2 times a week with a friend. We always ask for Chaz for our server. He pays attention to detail and remembers what we like without asking. The new manager, Mollie, seems very nice and aims to please all customers.“
“A wonderful diner. Plenty of free parking. Tabletop jukeboxes (that work!), excellent service, and a variety of high quality meals ranging from traditional diner fare to organic vegetarian meals.Everything we had (a breakfast spread) was perfectly prepared. The kids meals were generous and inexpensive. Would highly recommend, especially for families looking for a hearty meal fixed fast and served in a clean, roomy environment. Great coffee too...Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu for every meal.“
“If you like interesting, delicious food... Go here!! Spicy, flavor packed. Possibly the best restaurant in Silver Spring. The pickled mango dishes are always mouth watering. Green tea salad is bitter in a good way.Yelp messed up my order and they were incredibly understanding (I advise calling them to order directly though).“
“I love Pasha Castle! All of the treats are delightful. The staff was very helpful, and we were able to taste test some things to help make our decision- which wasn’t easy with some many delicious options. The Pasha Special is to die for, and the Turkish Delight options make me feel at home. The only downside to this place is that there are limited seating options, and the atmosphere and design are very minimalistic for those who might want to eat there treats while here instead of taking them to-go.“
“Highly recommended, hot spot for coffee, breakfast, and gourmet baked morsels. Is fairly busy so can get a bit loud during peak times, but the delicious esspresso and bakery items makes it well worth the visit, plus ceiling to floor glass allows for plenty of light and scenery.“
“Breads, pastries, and sandwiches are all delicious. Always well staffed and workers are very friendly. Even when really busy you rarely wait more than a couple minutes. Can’t think of another place in Arlington of this quality that is also so reasonably priced.“
“The food was really good - couldn’t be faulted! Service was excellent too.My only gripe was the amount of single use plastic items in the cafe. Everything from the plate to the cup to the cutlery was disposable. We need to do better by our planet.“
“Lovely little spot with wonderful selection. When you walk in you can smell the freshly baked goods as everything is made here in house. For this trip, I arrived just in time for Pain Suisse ! Imagine flaky layers that crunch when you bite into the Pastry.Wanted to try their pistachio croissant for awhile and today was the day. It does not disappoint... Good balance of pistachio paste and buttery croissant dough.Their cortado is perfectly balance milk-coffee ratio as well!!“
“The ambiance of this restaurant is really stunning. Definitely perfect for a nice date spot and the staff is always coming by to checking in on your table to make sure everything is going well.We ordered both the steaks, oysters, and some kind of liver. The liver looked like ice cream but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the aftertaste.“
“Try the croissants!Industrial-minimalist decor, which I liked. I was told it was the best bakery in DC and it didn’t disappoint. I was not a fan that my entire order was prepared “to-go” when I wanted to sit down. It seemed wasteful with all the boxes and disposable cups. I moved everything to plates anyway. I suggest you let them know very clearly that you want dishes and ceramic mugs. The lady at the coffee counter was the sweetest, the cashier not so much.“
“One of the few restaurants that has stood the test of time. Tasty gluten free food in an unpretentious atmosphere. If you get the lunch special it's pretty good value. With it being a beer and wine store as well, the drink prices and options are above average. If you are gluten free this is a gem. If you aren't, it's definitely worth a try. The gelato is good too.“
“I am visiting NOVA to house-sit for a friend while she’s on vacation, and needed a coffee ship while I’m here. I wanted to avoid the chains and go local. So I tried this one from a google search. INCREDIBLE. It’s so good and the bankers items are delicious. I have gone everyday since being here. They are very friendly and the line is long but moves very quickly. It’s just one of those fun little local things you have to try. I am hoping to move to DC in the next several months, and have this on my list of places to keep in my phone. 10/10!“
“My recent brunch experience at Sequoia DC was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the elegant ambiance and stunning views of the waterfront. The menu options were truly impressive, offering a diverse selection of delectable dishes to suit every taste bud. From savory classics to innovative creations, each bite was a culinary delight. But it didn't stop there—dessert was a true highlight! The decadent treats offered a perfect sweet ending to the meal, leaving me completely satisfied and already planning my next visit. And of course, the bottomless mimosas were the cherry on top, perfectly crafted and flowing freely throughout the brunch. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the impeccable service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was flawless. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a leisurely brunch, Sequoia DC is the ultimate destination for a memorable dining experience. I can't recommend it highly enough!“
“It’s official. SEOULSPICE is our kpop dance team’s new post-practice eating spot. It’s decorated so cutely inside and the food was great! We were served by Destiny, who treated us with the warmest energy and like we were best friends. Cannot recommend this location enough. Will 1000% be going back ASAP!“
“The food is remarkable! Everything we ordered, we ordered in the "all Vegan" version; vegan enchiladas, vegan nachos, vegan mushroom taco, vegan butternut squash taco. All this food was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to order from Chaia again.“
“A bakery that offers fresh baked goods, delicious sandwiches, and other types of hot and cold drinks. There is also a refrigerator that serves types of fresh fruits and yogurt with oats. The product prices are average, suitable for all groups. The workers are friendly. I recommend visiting it.“
“Delicious pastries, salads, soups, and more. Has a relaxing atmosphere and encourages catching up with friends in a warm, friendly place.Parking: Limited handicapped parking (2 spaces).Kid-friendliness: Not kid unfriendly, but more of a mature-friendly location.“
