Service was very attentive and came to refill drinks and check if we needed anything multiple times. We were there to celebrate my son's graduation and they brought out some complimentary Thai donuts! We definitely plan on returning.“

With all 5 star reviews I had to check it out as I've been wanting some drunken noodles for awhile now. It's located in a small inside eating shopping center within a bigger outside shopping center. I got the drunken noodles, with a medium spice and added chicken. It was good (not the best I've had but good) so much so that I planned on only eating half but found it hard to want to save some because I just wanted to eat it all. Would I go again, yes.“

“I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “Decided to try mae ornnit with my sister based on the strong reviews they have. Our server provided excellent, attentive service from start to finish. Mixed reviews on the food: Papaya salad was a downer. Lacks that nice flavor with fish sauce and papaya slices were sliced a bit too thick. Tom kha gai and chicken wonton soups were a winner. Lovely coconut milk flavor for tom kha soup. Fried tofu was pretty decent. The sweet and sour sauce for crispy flounder rocked, but I was expecting a slightly fresher flounder than what we had. Overall a pretty nice experience and we may return if we pass by the area again.“

Stopped by after an event, and we were warmly welcomed by one of the staff. We did takeout and the portions were generous!

We got chicken cashew, pad Thai and pad see yew with their fresh Thai tea.

Service was quick, and the surrounding ambiance is pleasant. Very clean with fresh flowers on the tables.

But really, the staff were so friendly and kind, and the food is delicious!

“Best Cashew Chicken in Northern Virginia!!

We have been going to Natta Thai for years and their cashew chicken is my comfort food, one of my favorite birthday dinners and just all around best meals. The chicken is always cooked perfectly, and the sauce is amazing, no other cashew chicken comes close!

The Satay chicken is also incredibly good and they give you great portions. I always get at least 2 meals out of the cashew chicken.“

However, I ventured out of that standard order this past time and decided to get the Drunken Noodles as well. They were just plain noodles with oil, and no sauce. I'm not sure if the cook forgot the sauce or if this was standard for them, but steer clear of the Drunken Noodles. Everything else I've had has been fantastic though!“

The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Our party ranged from age 14 to 55, some loved Thai and some had never tried it. There was something for everyone to enjoy on the menu. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. We had a large party and it didn't break the bank, as they say. Great food and comradery was had by all! Two appetizers and a soft drink with 20% tip for $37 . Fair prices for two medium size appetizers and a Diet Coke. These were the highlights of our visit here.

The downside:

Glasses & dishwater looked old. Scratch or wear marks on rims of glasses.

The ice water they gave us tasted like it came from a faucet or unfiltered.

There were no happy hour drink specials or dining specials.

Service was quick to seat us yet slow in taking our orders.

Even though the calamari was the best I ever had and the highlights of this restaurant, I was not compelled to re-visit this place as soon as possible like other restaurants in the past.

There are other Thai places in the area that offer excellent prices for excellent & larger quantities of food with dining specials. Yet this place is convenient and close to the movie theater and stores . The food is excellent to good for fair prices as well.“

I was impressed by the many menu items I’d never heard of before, especially the ones that said there was no option to substitute ingredients, even the meat. The service is as good as ever; however, I was surprised at how much they have increased on their prices. I guess expansion and growth (they opened another branch in Arlingnton several years ago) is inevitable and capitalizing on this popularity has its own upside and downside. I ordered their Paa Tad fish dish which did not disappoint but a simple fried fish and for its size, the price was a bit exorbitant for me.
