“We loved loved LOVED the macarons from Melody's Macarons!! We were looking for the perfect pastries to give as a thank you/christmas gift at our favorite hot pot place and we came across Melody's Macarons on Google. We called them up and within 15 minutes we were at the owner's front door placing our order. 5 minutes later, she came out with a bunch of beautifully decorated and wrapped macarons! My daughter could not stop gushing about how we need to bring macarons to every function from now on!

Thank you to the owners for being able to accomodate a big order on such short notice. We had an amazing experience and will be sure to get our macarons from you from now on! And to everyone looking for the perfect little gift or a delicious sweet treat, you can't go wrong with Melody's Macarons!

We were so pleased with our wedding cake; the flavors, texture, and uniqueness of what she delivered! The cake received rave reviews from all our guests & it was just stunning! Alison further accommodated our distant guests who joined us via Zoom and helped us send them some goodies and treats via a celebration box! Further, she even recommended our caterer and helped calm some anxious nerves about the dynamics of planning a wedding during a world pandemic! I can NOT recommend this little bake shop enough; Alison will be our go to baker for all our cake needs! PS- we highly recommend the funfetti with yuzu blackberry buttercream, and raspberry filling! “Cosmo One is hands down one of the best spots in the DMV for beef shawarma, absolutely unmatched! I drove over 30 miles just to try it and it was well worth the trip. The chicken kabobs and fresh salad were excellent, and the pistachio shawarma was a unique highlight that did not disappoint. I just wish it was closer to home, I’d be there every other day. I was surprised to see a basket 🧺 way back in the corner for those less fortunate to take a loaf of bread 🥖 if you yourself are in hard times or even if you know someone, but it was empty . Although I’m not sure exactly how many loaves go into this basket nor when they bread 🍞 gets placed . My guess is at the end of the day or possibly in the morning . It would be nice to know .“

“It is a great restaurant, high quality Greek food. They said my entrée, the lamb gyro, had double protein, but that was not true. It had way too much bread and fried potatoes. Quality of the squid, lamb, beans, and pasticitio was epic. Loved the salad too, but would have liked more Tzatziki. I had to ask for my water to be refilled a few times. Brining one of those bottles or carafes of water to the table that some restaurants do would be a better fit for the restaurant.“

“This cake was DELICIOUS!!! My friend purchased a Randy Cake for my twins 1st Birthday. Hands down the best tasting cake I have ever had. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It was lemon cake with almond buttercream. It looked amazing and was scrumptious to eat. In addition, she made gluten free carrot cake cupcakes that were equally tasty. “WOW is right!! I am a first-time customer and ultimately ordered a dozen construction-themed cookies for my son's 3rd birthday party. Melissa messaged me back straight away and offered two different cookie options -- screen-printed vs hand-cut with pricing. I sent her a link to the party decorations I bought, and she was able to create AMAZING screen-printed cookies using images from a digital invitation. Melissa answered all of my questions thoroughly, particularly about how long the cookies would stay fresh, and provided tons of advice about how to display the cookies and how to best freeze them if we wanted to keep a couple for after the party. I am not exaggerating when I say these are the thickest, most delicious sugar cookies I have ever tasted. My husband and I sampled one after pick-up, and they are truly out-of-this-world good! Melissa has absolutely gained a customer for life, and I cannot wait to work with her again.“

“Great coffee and pastry! You can get a good traditional biscotti here but the real treats are the Korean pastries which are an adventure to someone who is not familiar with them. We tried a bun stuffed with green bean paste and it was really tasty! Our Americano coffees were also very good. The people are super friendly too.“

“My work ordered the individual cheesecakes and they were incredible. In fact, as soon as I finished eating mine I hopped on here to leave a review. I had the banana cream cheesecake and it was the best cheesecake I've ever had. The flavor and texture were so rich without being too heavy. We were also able to get gluten free cakes which helped immensely in accommodating the dietary needs of everyone in our office.

Delivery was on time and they were super polite and considerate. The cakes came packaged very nicely and with neat labelling.
