Ugly dumplings, red chicken soup dumplings OMG SO GOOD! Green beans ugly style omg I can eat a whole bowl of that by myself. Braised baby back ribs with a side of rice omg yummmm! Foods we didn’t like Chicken and broccoli didn’t taste authentic, chicken stir fried noodles no taste, steamed buns there was a smell to it and couldn’t taste better and the Mongolian beef. We realized food isn’t the best but the dumplings are the way to go. Since they recently opened we’ve been back 5 times lol. Definitely a must try! Drinks taste good as well.“

“I love Yu Noodles. Their noodle bowls are so good — simple, flavorful, and the portions are huge. Last time I got the seafood noodle bowl and it totally hit the spot. Everything tasted fresh and comforting.

It’s a clean, casual place — not fancy or romantic, but definitely the kind of spot you go to when you just want a really good meal without paying too much. The staff are super friendly, and the service is always quick.

The menu can be a little confusing at first, but they have some pictures to help, and honestly, everything I’ve tried has been delicious. It’s just one of those reliable, yummy places you keep coming back to. “My wife’s and my first time here. I had the biang biang noodles thanks to several other positive reviews. I am adding to those reviews. The noodles were delicious and worth making repeat visits. My wife had wontons in chicken soup. She also enjoyed her dish. We both tried the other’s dish and enjoyed them. For desert we had fried mochi. The outside tasted somewhat like a donut. The inside was something sweet. They were quite good.

The place was very busy with most customers picking up their meals and leaving. There are five 4 person tables and three 2 person tables. The Chinese woman running the counter was very friendly and spoke both fluent English and Chinese. The dining and bathroom areas were clean and well maintained.

We will definitely be back.

The outstanding customer service I received at Golden Restaurant truly deserves to be highlighted. On an especially hot day, I walked in and was immediately offered a cold bottled water—completely free of charge. It was such a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the rest of my visit.

When I called ahead to place an order for shrimp fried rice with customization (no msg, light on the soy sauce, very little oil), they listened intently and even repeated my requests so I can verify. Lo and behold, they delivered exactly what I asked for—the dish was cooked perfectly to my liking!

It’s rare these days, especially at a mostly pick-up-style restaurant, to find staff who are not only helpful but genuinely considerate and accommodating. The quality of service here goes far beyond expectations. I’ll definitely be returning—and recommending them to friends and family. Service like this deserves to be recognized!“

“Have to use a GPS to find it. It is carryout only. Wait time was a bit but the food comes out piping hot and fresh. Was so good I didn't wait to get home to eat, but instead sat in the parking lot blowing on it and trying not to burn my tongue. Got general tso chicken, beef lo mein and a small wonton soup for $25. Huge portions. And the meat was huge chunks. Enough food for 4 people. Was disappointed I didn't get an eggroll as I assumed it came with the order. But otherwise I was happy and will come again next time I have a Chinese food craving. Very much like the spots in Philadelphia.“

One of the staff members stayed 20 minutes past closing to make sure we got our food. However Sampan is closed on Mondays (currently) and I was at Pitkins so I stopped in and ordered the General Tso Chicken lunch special takeout (currently $10.75 with tax). “The staff are all very friendly, and it’s clear they try to keep the restaurant as clean as possible. That said, because it’s an older establishment, it can be hard for it to look perfectly spotless no matter how much effort they put in.

“They only do curbside pickup, so no getting out of your vehicle. We got lemongrass chicken skewers, pork lo mein, wonton soup and hot and sour soup. Food was hot, and very flavorful! Lemongrass was so bright, and a welcome upgrade to the standard skewer. The noodle texture was perfect! Hot and sour soup seemed as if it was missing vinegar. It had a tolerable, extra hot kick, and I would have really enjoyed it if it had the sour component. Wonton soup had a deep golden/brownish broth. I didn't have any. I think it exceeded expectation! After reading reviews, and thinking my guys would be very happy, I am thankful it was as delicious as I hoped if not more.“

“On the surface this is a throwback old school American Chinese takeout complete with Moo Goo Gai Pan which btw is an underrated classic. I mean it just tastes very simple but also has flavor. But ever notice those wood tile tags in Chinese on the wall posing as decor to the unbeknownst. That’s the “secret” “hidden” menu. Asking about it unlocks a photo book of what “they” would eat. More greens and veggie choices, fried fish. One of the workers is also the stereotype service giver meaning they are not “friendly”, not helpful or generous. They are all business and give you what you ask for and add the up charges versus the comps. The other worker sees off menu interest, presents the book AND circles a menu of favorites typically ordered by [your people] after confirming your people. lol. So go there and unlock that menu if you want to venture beyond General Tsos or mix and match.“

“Best Chinese Food we have had in years!
I ordered through the online website. I picked up the food myself. (we don't trust delivery services to get our food to us) We ordered orange chicken, bejing beef, and chicken teriyaki with chow mein and fried rice. I added a side of beijing beef, Hot wok shrimp, hot orange chicken and crab rangoon. KJ told me the side of beijing beef was not ready so I asked him what he suggests, and he steered me to the honey walnut shrimp. Everyone loved it and wanted more of both shrimp dishes!
The food was hot and fresh. The meats were high quality and delicious. The spicy items did not disappoint. So good! The recommended honey walnut shrimp was amazing! Everyone loved it. The orange chicken was good but we loved the spicy dishes and the shrimp. KJ was so helpful, we explained it was our first time there and he helped us out! We WILL be back. The price was so much better than anything else you can get anywhere else, as is the meat quality.“
