“The best place to eat in the airport by a long way. The breakfast oatmeal is delicious are the Bao buns (my kids love the breakfast baos) and the pork soup dumplings. The coffee is decent too. And there’s usually no queue unlike a lot of outlets in the airport.“

Here’s my quick take:
Walked in not expecting much, but the place has a clean, no-frills vibe that feels pretty authentic. You can tell this is more about the food than the experience.

Started with the soup dumplings — honestly, these are the reason to come here. Good broth inside, not too greasy, and held together well (which is half the battle with XLB).

Went for the spicy beef noodle soup next. Flavor was good, comforting, but I wish it had a bit more punch. Noodles were legit though — chewy, fresh, and clearly the highlight.
Service was… okay. Not bad, not great. Feels like a place that gets busy and just keeps moving.

Overall: this is a solid local spot. Not mind-blowing, but if you order right, you’ll walk out happy. Definitely coming back for dumplings and buns.“

“I love getting food from here. Even when I am not shopping in Ranch 99 I would go there to get food and grab some groceries while waiting.

The owner is nice and the whole operation is very clean. I’d say it’s cleaner than 95% of the restaurants out there. The owner is one of those “OCD” types lol. When you tell him how much you want for the dry pot (by weight) he would get to that weight to the exact decimal point. I sometimes would tell him it’s ok to miss a bit I am just giving you an estimate. Also he is happy to cater your preference. I love lots of veggies in mine so I’d ask him to put more veggies than meat. He’d gladly to do anything like that.

It’s spicy but I never felt it’s too greasy and the flavor is great! It’s not just done with a sauce pack. You can see fresh garlic pieces in there too.

Definitely a hidden gem. Better than a typical vendor in a Chinese grocery store. I wish all Chinese restaurants can be run with this caliber.“

“The food great, better then others, it was hot fresh and delicious, I had the chicken with mix vegetables. And it came with a egg roll. Long time since I has a delicious egg roll. Place was clean. The only thing was the mechine that you can order your food on. Coming to get Chinese food to places like this it feels great when someone takes your order. Overall 👍 great.“

“This place is incredible. I am not aware of any other luosifen noodle house in the area. If you, like me, are a newcomer to this style of noodle soup, you are going to be extremely impressed. The bone broth is bracing, complex, and flavorful, far richer and deeper than pho or tonkotsu. Recommend getting it spicy: it brings all the flavors together without being overwhelming. Additionally, the Sichuan menu is one of the best in the area, second only to Mama Chang's and Hong Kong Palace. This place is pretty new and trying to get its feet underneath it. My favorite is their fried rice with bean sprouts and the szechuan chicken . I usually place my order for pickup and the food always comes out hot and fresh!“

“Our Monday night dinner group has come back here multiple times. The smell is wonderful immediately when you walk in. The host and all staff there are super friendly and always fun to chat with. Our waiter had our whole table laughing every time we engaged with him. Everyone's orders were perfectly cooked, nice sized portions and came out very quickly. I personally love the Malaysian Iced Coffee, Roti Canai and Chicken Satay. Our group had noodle dishes, beef, lamb, seafood....all was wonderful. “My neice wanted to go to her favorite place for her 18th bday, so my sister called the Chin Chin Cafe and they said no problem. They had reserved tables when I arrived so I could decorate. Raymond was the MOD and was very helpful. We also had great customer service from the 3 employees working that night, it could not have gone any smoother! The timing of the food coming out was perfect!! Everything from the appetizers to the sushi to the main course dishes were delicious and plentiful. All our guests, especially the bday girl, were very happy. if you have not tried them yet, do yourself a favor and do so. Found China Goirmet on a whim search and it exceeded our expectations!! The potstickers were tender, flavorful and mouth watering! “This is a chain that has locations all over New York. I'm glad there is a location close to me. It's my go to for sauerkraut fish soup.

They also have a secret menu for Fuzhou cuisine like peanut noodles, Fuzhou wontons and meatball soup that are pretty close to what I remember from Fuzhou.“

“Food is always hot, fast, and delicious! I always get the Singapore noodles not spicy without shrimp. (I have an allergy) and it is right everytime. They also have amazing miso soup and general Tsos. Pick this one.“

“We’re always looking for good Chinese food in the area, and happy to have stumbled upon this one. My husband and I ordered crispy beef, duck wraps, house lo mein and general tso’s chicken. The owner said we ordered too much lol

Crispy beef was very unique. Tasted good, it was fried in thick strips as opposed to the thin strips you usually see, and stayed crunchy throughout.

General Tso’s chicken was good too; large juicy chunks of meat with a good sauce.

Lo mein was great - our 3 year old ate half of the dish himself. The house lo mein was good because it had beef, chicken and shrimp all mixed together.

The only miss for us were the duck wraps. While the pancakes and hoisin sauce tasted good, the duck was way too gamey for our taste and we didn’t love the vegetables that came with it. The owner noticed we didn’t eat it and she recommended that next time we try the Cantonese style roast duck; less gamey and taste better.

We also got a pina colada smoothie which was fabulous!!

True to their restaurant name, they played opera music in the background and had an ongoing video of classical dances on the wall.

The owner was so attentive to our son, gave him crayons to draw with, and kept our water/ tea filled at all times.

Unfortunately we were the only people in the restaurant for dinner that night, I hope more people come try their food! We’ll definitely be back to try more things!“

“This restaurant has staying power! Been around as long as I can remember. My folks first visited on a whim, stopping for a bite on one year on New Year's Eve. Ever since, they always reminisced about the wonderful experience they had trying a new place and making it a regular stop.

The boiled fish was perfect. Soft fish, full of flavor, floating in spicy chili oil and numbing Sichuan peppercorns. This is the real deal.

The spicy chicken was crispy, fiery, and addictive. Not too greasy, just full of heat and taste. We kept going back for more.

The pork intestines hot pot was super tasty. Clean, chewy, full of deep flavor. The broth was spicy and rich.

The pig brain hot pot sounds wild, but it was so soft and smooth. Like custard, but savory and full of umami. Try it. Trust me.

The pork belly? Melt-in-your-mouth, flavorful, just the right amount of fat. Every bite was heaven.

This is not the place for orange chicken or sweet-and-sour pork. Don’t walk in here expecting Panda Express. You’ll embarrass yourself. This is real Chengdu food. It’s bold. It’s spicy. It’s alive.
