“Josh and the Chicken lettuce Wraps prepared by Herman was a true treat for a Monday! I’ve been coming to PF changs since it’s opening in Tyson’s Galleria in about 1999? (Can’t remember exactly) - but regardless - the wraps essence and notes have been consistent since then - what a treat! Cheers and see you for half wine wednesdays!“
“I love getting food from here. Even when I am not shopping in Ranch 99 I would go there to get food and grab some groceries while waiting.
The owner is nice and the whole operation is very clean. I’d say it’s cleaner than 95% of the restaurants out there. The owner is one of those “OCD” types lol. When you tell him how much you want for the dry pot (by weight) he would get to that weight to the exact decimal point. I sometimes would tell him it’s ok to miss a bit I am just giving you an estimate. Also he is happy to cater your preference. I love lots of veggies in mine so I’d ask him to put more veggies than meat. He’d gladly to do anything like that.
It’s spicy but I never felt it’s too greasy and the flavor is great! It’s not just done with a sauce pack. You can see fresh garlic pieces in there too.
Definitely a hidden gem. Better than a typical vendor in a Chinese grocery store. I wish all Chinese restaurants can be run with this caliber.“

“Just tried Yu Noodles in Fairfax —
Here’s my quick take:
Walked in not expecting much, but the place has a clean, no-frills vibe that feels pretty authentic. You can tell this is more about the food than the experience.
Started with the soup dumplings — honestly, these are the reason to come here. Good broth inside, not too greasy, and held together well (which is half the battle with XLB).
Went for the spicy beef noodle soup next. Flavor was good, comforting, but I wish it had a bit more punch. Noodles were legit though — chewy, fresh, and clearly the highlight.
Service was… okay. Not bad, not great. Feels like a place that gets busy and just keeps moving.
Overall: this is a solid local spot. Not mind-blowing, but if you order right, you’ll walk out happy. Definitely coming back for dumplings and buns.“

“Nice Cafe, good flavor Chinese food .. but they use Styrofoam for takeout. UGH.. which means all the sauce spills into bottom of the bag. NOT GOOD.“

“INCREDIBLE
It is so special that we have food like this in our area, everything here (noodles, dumplings, etc) are so obviously made the day of (you can tell by the taste) by hand, from scratch. The owner was so kind and nice.
Make sure you try the spicy wonton and the biang biang, and dine in.
Please eat here Fairfax, we need to support this business.“

“Many traditional Chinese dishes along with Americanized favorites. They may attempt to coax you into changing your mind if you’re not Asian and you want something traditional.“
“This is a chain that has locations all over New York. I'm glad there is a location close to me. It's my go to for sauerkraut fish soup.
They also have a secret menu for Fuzhou cuisine like peanut noodles, Fuzhou wontons and meatball soup that are pretty close to what I remember from Fuzhou.“

“I’ve ordered the poke from this place 3 times. It’s always excellent and feel good knowing it’s healthy and fresh. Javad is the best. He did an excellent job of explaining what wonder was about. Super friendly and helpful.“

“This place is incredible. I am not aware of any other luosifen noodle house in the area. If you, like me, are a newcomer to this style of noodle soup, you are going to be extremely impressed. The bone broth is bracing, complex, and flavorful, far richer and deeper than pho or tonkotsu. Recommend getting it spicy: it brings all the flavors together without being overwhelming. Additionally, the Sichuan menu is one of the best in the area, second only to Mama Chang's and Hong Kong Palace. This place is pretty new and trying to get its feet underneath it. Let's support high quality food!“

“One of my favorite local spots! The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Their combo plates are super satisfying and great value, and the crab rangoons are the best — crispy, creamy, and perfectly sweet. Definitely a local favorite for takeout!“

“Went on Mother’s Day for a friend’s bday dinner. We only had 3 ppl so couldn’t make a reservation for 6pm. Went in at 5:30 pm to put our name down but the host told us there was no wait so we came back at 6 pm and the wait was then 45 min 🥲oh well. Nonetheless the food was amazing and fast! Love the sauce bar, ease of ordering with the iPads, and individual pots. Would like to try it again when it wasn’t a holiday.“

“MEG IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! She was phenomenal. It was a bit busy, and we watched her manage several tables with such finesse that no one was left behind/stuck waiting. We will definitely visit again, and that's partly due to the food being great and partly due to how awesome she was.“
