“Had an early lunch at Laurita’s chicken. It was our first time. The place was VERY clean and the food was DELICIOUS!! We both got carne asada tacos and the chicken tacos and they were 10/10. Extra props for the tortillas being made fresh and they were HUGE! I also saw that they have Pozole on Friday & Saturday so I will def be back for that as well and to try EVERYTHING else on the menu! The salsas were delicious. They gave us a smoky salsa, an avocado-lime, and a spicy salsa. All DELICIOUS!! Definitely an amazing hidden gem and I am sad that this was my first time trying it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It is in the Breezewood shopping center off of Courthouse Rd. Where Big Lots and Starbucks are.”

“Was staying in the Holiday Inn nearby? Just passing through saw it had a great rating stopped in. It was some of the best Tacos and Quesadilla I've ever had. I grew up going here for special occasions; in high school I went multiple times a month with friends; as a college student, I look forward to coming home and visiting here. “I am currently here now and once again they are amazing with customer service. I’ve posted my past review on google and forgot to post one here. It is rare to meet a family business who takes pride in their business in a good way. The workers also work so hard and will smile you all the way out the door. I just really love it here. My favorite is the fried chicken and hope cakes. Me being from Chicago and recently moving here, it’s like a piece of home that I have in those wings. I totally recommend 1k percent. If I had a group with me I would give the entire establishment a standing ovation. Keith Lee really needs to check this place out.”

Despite beginning handed a side of fries instead of onion rings, they quickly made it right( order the onion rings....trust me...batter is so good ) the mad elf beer was perfect as well. Highly recommend”

I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Sandwich w potato salad & added a side salad with Greek dressing that came with a roll. Portions were amazing & everything was fresh. My husband got the Cobb Salad…everything from the lettuce to the avocado was so fresh! My little one got the chicken tenders and what tasted like homemade apple sauce? “Fish and grill really changed, since I last visited, some 5 years ago. The parking lot is kind of crowded- I didn't expect that to change in a strip zoned for businesses. But it's clean. They would do well to have one garbage can outside of the establishment but the sidewalk is narrow. The signage is visible. The restaurant is very open, airy and immaculate. We arrived, intending to eat in the car because we have a toddler with special needs: he's in keg casts. The restaurant had a separate area in the front, near the door that accommodated our needs. We are COVID conscious and wanted to be away from others. The food was fantastic. We had catfish meals and sides that were delicious, hot and arrived in a timely manner. My grandson was having a horrible time sitting and eating: he is in thigh high casts and he was not happy that he couldn't sit by himself or eat properly. He's very active and independent. While sitting in his mom's lap, he urinated through his diaper and down her leg. While we were ready to go back to the car to take everything "to go." Our server, Tiffany, came to the rescue. She went to the car and gave us a diaper he could fit and pants he could wear. I've never seen such a kind gesture at a restaurant. She is a gem. He's newly casted, so we had to buy new diapers (he's potty training but has to go back a few steps to a regular diaper. Tiffany saved the afternoon. I recommend Dish and Grill for the food (it's exemplary), for the ambiance and for kind people like Tiffany; people that really take pride in themselves and pass kindness to others. Thank you, Tiffany I hope and Fish and Grill recognizes your excellence!”

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload”

“If you want a perfect homemade meal, this is the place to go. The food could not have been better. The beef ribs, which are only served on the weekend, are huge, juicy, and taste like a piece of heaven. Our friend, who had the brisket sandwich, was also pleased. All of the sides they tried were delicious.

The owners are so delightful you wish they were either your friends or family. These are really good people who deserve the support of the community not only for the great food, but to encourage young people to open business and stay in Fredericksburg. Their concern for their customers was really touching and showed that incredible Southern charm.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. Just wish they had more tables and chairs. They need a bigger space. All I have to say is Nashville, beware!!!”

There is one large table in the back that might be better used as smaller ones in the winter when outdoor tables are not available. Similarly there should be a bar area to sit somewhere if a possible rearrangement was thought out.”

Now the Banana pudding 9.8/10 nice thick pudding not watery at all the wafers were perfect bringing my total score to 27.8/30. the portions are well balanced!! “I had to go on the Med diet and was restricted to what I could eat. So I googled best Greek restaurant in Fredericksburg, VA and Parthenon came up. So we tried it. Google got this one right. The food is excellent. All homemade. I always get the Greek salad large with gyro meat. It is so good . We got the pizza there just today and it was just wonderful. The folks that run it are so friendly and make you feel at home and the store is just a trip back to the 1980s. So to all our Colonial Beach friends if you want good fresh homemade healthy food, the next trip to the doctor at MWH, go up the hill to the old Park and Shop. The Parthenon is located near the car wash and Allmans. You won’t be disappointed, ever.”

All the staff are super friendly, and enthusiastic and take the upmost pride in every delicious creation. They also never fail to give you your moneys worth! The last owner of this store never did well with very poor customer service among distasteful things, with ultimately led to its closing. Thankfully, the store opened back up again with NEW management, menus, employees, environment and aura! Everything including the interior was aesthetically pleasing, and the staff were super friendly. I am happy this shop will now be given the proper glory needed! “Raising Cane's may only have a single item. That item however is the most delicious juicy chicken tenders east of the Mississippi. The Texas toast as well is legendary among connesoiurs. Crinkle fries tie the experience together and then there is the Cane's sauce to dip everything in. 10/10 everytime”

The Fresno peppers were not too spicy at all, and my kids could handle them. The Korean cheesecake was a little bit too sweet. I needed some acid to balance it out, but it was still delicious.”

Even though I personally don’t eat seafood, there were still plenty of great options for me, and everything I ordered was absolutely amazing. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of the food they serve. The manager even took the time to come by our table, check on us, and make sure everything was perfect. Between the incredible food, excellent service, and the welcoming atmosphere, it made for a truly great dining experience. We left very impressed and will definitely be back again soon.
