“Wonderful setting to get a delicious lunch or dinner, with reasonable prices. Sitting on the covered patio, with a view of the York River, was a treat. The staff was friendly and the restaurant has an inviting and comfortable vibe. I ordered the salmon salad, and my daughter ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Both were delicious, and if I go again I would order the salmon salad again. The only issue during our late lunch/ early dinner is when the waitress asked me to pay the bill halfway through my meal. I told her straight out that I wasn't ready to pay. When asked if she could transfer the table to someone else, I was told NO. She said she had to clear her charges l, as her shift was finished. Yes, I was shocked. I was halfway through my $27 salad. I reluctantly stopped eating to pay. I even gave her a $10 tip, as up to this point, she was attentive and professional. Etiquette must have missed her brain when she was trained. After we finished eating (no one came back to check on us or offer dessert), I asked to speak to a manager. The general manager came to our table and handled the situation professionally and perfectly. He seemed shocked that this happened. He even offered to take something off my bill and return the tip. I told him to not do this, but I appreciated his offer. He spoke with me for at least ten minutes and gave me his business card. I will eat here again when I'm in Yorktown, but I will not have the same waitress.“

“Carabba's did not dissapointed me. I visit this place for a to go order at lunchtime. I ordered my favorite dish pork chops. Soup was exquisite, and the bread was hot and fresh. I did not review the atmosphere because I just went there to pick up my order. Great job, Carraba"s“

“Harpoon Larry’s is a fun bar! Erin was our bartender and she is EXCELLENT!! She kept us supplied with oyster shots and beverages, spent a few minutes talking to us, all while managing the bar that day. The seafood is great, the atmosphere was friendly, and we had a great time!“

“Amazing place for seafood lovers!! We both got platters with 4 options and everything was amazing. I got the fried stuff (flounder, shrimp, scallops, clams, calamari), very lightly battered, fried perfectly and juicy. The grilled stuff (flounder, oysters, shrimp, crab cake also) was also juicy and perfectly cooked. Fries, okra, sweet potato fries were delicious as well.Small snafu with my order was taken care of very quickly and with a smile. This was a dinner worth every penny and when I am back in the area I will be back for more!“

“Okay, starting at the top.The Thai chili calamari is AMAZING. I can't remember a time I had calamari that fresh. It was incredible. One dish is the seafood trifecta with seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes - delicious! The scallops were nice and fat, the lump crab was fresh and complemented perfectly, and the shrimp was large and juicy. The three were sitting in a bowl of butter with some seasonings....so good. The other dish is Cajun blackened halibut with asparagus and Mexicali Street corn. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The asparagus was fresh and the street corn was tasty...but even better mixed with the mashed potatoes lol.We ordered a bottled of the Joshua Cellars Cabernet which complemented perfectly. We happened to come after work and were not dressed for outdoor dining, but that is no fault of the restaurant - they had some heaters, just be mindful before you go.Lastly, our waitress was Felicia and she was wonderful! She was on it, friendly, attentive, but not overbearing. She had a busy section and that girl did not skip a bit.We cannot wait to come back!“

“The food was incredible. I opted for the 'catch of the day', in this case consisting of Mahi-Mahi. The filet was very well made, flakey in the right way.My only gripe with the restaurant would be that it's small. VERY small. And it stays busy. If you're not good with tight quarters, I would steer clear. Restrooms are tiny. Going to the restroom from your table is a game of dodge-the-patrons. We didn't even go during a peak meal hour and the place was busting at the seams. However, this is a sure sign of the popularity and the quality of service and food one will receive when arriving here.Wheelchair accessibility: I wouldn't bring a wheelchair into this place whatsoever. There's barely any room for the chairs they already have, let alone one you have to bring yourself. And since this place is VERY popular with current and retired servicemen and women, it's heartbreaking that our disabled military retirees won't be able to experience this homely restaurant.“

“Overall great food and service. I’ve visited twice now and both times I had a consistent experience for lunch. The first time I had the soft shell crab poboy and this time the seafood boil bowl with shrimp and sausage. The poboy was a very good size that won’t leave you hungry. The taste was great as well, I just needed a lil hot sauce which is just personal preference. The seafood boil bowl was a healthy serving size as well. I got the spicy level of heat which had me sweating the whole time but was still flavorful. I’ll likely lower down to mild next time though. The service was fast and my waiter was very enthusiastic.“

“Internet is usually a best way to discover something to devour. After surfing for a while, “Tiger Thai Cuisine” was attracted by my eyes, but only brief reviews and photos show in restaurant’s facebook. All in all, Tiger Thai Cuisine is all the answers I am looking for…so let’s chill out here with me.“

“This was my first time here, we decided to give it a try because it was opened late and we had been craving Mexican. We were seated immediately and brought a basket of chips, side of salsa and a special dipping sauce that ive never had before. It was amazing! We ordered and the food came out very quickly, I ordered the Burrito Mexicanos, my youngest son ordered the California Burrito, and the oldest ordered nachos, my husband ordered the fajitas. The portions were huge and the food was delicious, the waiter checked on us several times during the meal and kept everyone's drink full. The restaurant itself has a fun and lively feel to it, and the menu is extensive so I can't wait to go back and check out more of the menu“

“I ordered the famous chiles rellenos ($12.99) to go for dinner which consisted of 2 poblano peppers stuffed with cheese and rice and beans on the side. They were delicious. Plus, I was given chips and homeade salsa with my to go order which I did not expect. I loved the garlicky salsa and the chips were very fresh. This is the best Mexican food I've had in Newport News, VA.Vegetarian options: Various vegetarian lunch menu dishes and dinner menu items. I'm not a vegetarian, but the first time I eat anywhere I prefer vegetarian options. I feel if you can't do veggies right, there might be problems. Chichuahua's food is VERY good. I look forward to going back.“
“My wife and I go almost weekly. Delicious fresh seafood. Anything deep fried is always fried perfectly. The best she crab soup anywhere. Today a special was blackened tuna bites. They were seasoned perfectly, tender and juicy. Friendly service and good prices. No obnoxious iPad.“

“I have tried nearly every Mexican restaurant in the area, in hopes of finding a good, crunchy Chimichanga ... this place is the winner for best Chimichanga! I also love the Tomatillo sauce for dipping ... fantastic! However, having said that my last experience was not so pleasant. Our server was not attentive at all .... AGAIN!. And were not offered free refills after returning with our checks. We were not even asked how the food was. The place was not crowded, so this should not have been an issue. I'm very disappointed in the customer service.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian offerings!Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is convenient and maneuverability is good.“

“Stopped here after church and it was busy but we got seated right away. Food was good and atmosphere was nice. It seems a little pricey at first but then you get a generous portion of food. We had the fish and chips, brunch Benedict, rodeo burger and BLT. All great dishes but my favorite was the onion rings!“

“This is a quaint little deli in Yorktown. I was in the area for business. I saw it while I was in the area. Decided to stop in for a bite. The hotdog was pretty good. It was prepared once ordered. I like basic toppings, mustard, onions & relish. I couldn't finish it because it was a nice size. LolThe lady behind the counter was very nice also. They have pretty good menu choices.“

“Amazing atmosphere, love the renovation Sanaiya was outstanding. She was so knowledgeable of the menu and gave some great recommendations. We ended up getting three appetizers, some great mixed drinks and fantastic entree. She gave us bread to go, boxed our food and drew some cute pics on them. Really went the extra mile.“

“Looks like an old dive bar, but don't let that fool you, bc the food and service are awesome. Fried fish sandwich was huge. Light, crispy breading on that and the huge shrimp in the shrimp Po boy. Crab soup was very good, but leans a bit heavy on the old bay. Overall, pleasant lunch and our server was very nice and attentive.“

“We went to Poquoson Diner yesterday which was an especially busy day. Been there for breakfast many times but they had three large parties and yet the servers were just delightful. not once in the midst of the crowded restaurant was any of them complaining, always had smiles on their faces, and genuinely served everyone with a true sense of southern hospitality. I love this place and can't believe I lived so close to it for over 20 years before trying it! Great staff and great food!!“

“I always love Piccadilly after church on a Sunday. The line is long but it's always worth it. All of our food was hot and tasty. I normally get the hamburger steak but tried the fish stuffed with crab meat. It was okay but I think I will stick with the usual next time. You can never go wrong with many of the options here. There is something for everyone! Also - They offer military discount with valid ID Thank you so much Piccadilly!“
“There’s so many things I like about this food truck. For starters everything tasted fresh and was absolutely delicious. Meals also came out in the same amount of time you’d wait at a restaurant, which was great! Owner and cashier were polite so you can’t ask for much more. Don’t worry about the price, it’s worth every penny.“

“My food was delicious and plentiful. The only issue is as most reviews suggest the lady at the counter is definitely sassy or indeed rude. Interpretation depends on you. I thought she was sassy. She's there by herself taking orders and cooking. Be prepared to wait and BRING CASH!“

“Stopped here for quick lunch. Good selection of seafood with many options ( fried, steamed, etc). Fried shrimp and fish were well prepared. Staff were patient explaining options. One star deducted for charging .25 for cup of water -- neither menu or staff mention that. Really? It's the South, who charges for water??“
