“I've been coming to Peking for a couple of years and never had any problems,, it's been 2 weeks ago ate lunch it was around 1145am, had a new young lady serve us,,, I've never seen her there before, she took order and brought food out.. she never came back to check if we needed anything and we never had service such as her's,,my sister noticed she was sitting in the back area on the side on her cell phone texting.the other young men were serving the customers while she avoided her tables, I hope she learns how to be a waitress better than how she did that day“

“Pretty standard American Chinese spot,
Same menu, etc.
Food quality very decent, serving sizes are good, the chicken sticks were a lil small for 6.25, but I’m fat so it’s for the best.
The hostess was super nice and cute
Real plates
Not the worst place to dine-in.“

“Their food is so good! Seemed to recently update their egg rolls and gyoza. They were good before but they are great now! We haven't gotten anything there we don't like! We usually spend $70-$80 for 2, but the portions are so big we usually get 4-6 meals out if it!“

“Only 2nd time here. Everything was great.. I order crip sesame shrimp. Young lady said it will be 1.50 I said ok. And I got to choose another meat so I got broccoli and beef. SO that was over 12.00 so I got home and I only had 3 shrimp I was very upset to see I had to pay extra and only got 3 shrimp what am I paying extra for.. I took a picture this time at this place which I'm going to start doing so all my followers can see 👀.. I think were paying to much for a plate of rice , broccoli and a few pieces of beef.. this is highway robbery. Everyone have a wonderful evening and enjoy life... p.s. my roommate got rice and orange chicken he had a very nice portion.. I had to wait for some shrimp got done and sorry but disappointed they need to tell us it's a 1.50 more for 3 shrimp unreal ...“

“After this place has been on “RVA Restaurants to Try” list for about 3 years, this was our first time eating at Fat Dragon, but it certainly not be our last! The wonton soup was the best my mother has ever tasted…keep in mind, she’s traveled all over the world. The ginger dressing was so delicious, I asked the server if they sold it in bottles. The garlic chicken and basil beef were both so tender and flavorful, I would highly recommend them both. And last but not least, our server was great! Do not wait to try this place like I did!!!! Go now!“

“My favorite little Chinese food spot in the area. The lady in the front is patient while we order. As well as a guy that answer the phone when i place my order. I didn't feel rushed or anything. The food is always good and fresh, not to mention made quickly. I'd recommend.“

“First and foremost, the person that took my order was very courteous. I ordered chicken wings and fried rice and sat no longer than 15 minutes before my order was ready. The wings were fried perfectly and you can't go wrong with fried rice; delicious. Thank you“

“When I walked in i was politely greeted by the server. She was super nice when she sat us. Food is amazing, not super busy so it’s a nice peaceful place, and service is amazing. I would recommend anyone to this place to have some amazing food.“

“We ordered 8 dishes and the food was absolutely stellar. Probably top 3 Chinese restaurants I’ve had.
The flavors, perfect, the meats were all good cuts (the pork fried rice had nice big chunks of lean pork). The only thing I would pick at is there was a little too much oil in the Singapore mei fun, for my taste. But still delicious. I loved the thin sliced beef in the Singapore noodles.“

“This place is a staple Chinese takeout spot for reliable quality, quick service, and affordable large portions. Both their vegetarian and meat options are tasty and consistently delicious! Although the owner is busy and brief, she is a kindhearted woman running her business well.“

“I just got the lunch special shrimp fried rice, and I must say it was good. Just one complaint - the shrimps were miniatures. I was thinking it was because this was the lunch special. If they offer or put bigger shrimp in the dish this would easily get a 5 rating. Other than that, I gladly recommend!“

“It's a little ugly and I hate the look of their wall of protection. Decent amount of food for the cost. I got the egg drop soup with dumplings. Decent ingredients but they flavor it for white people (I am one). Add some heat! Don't know if you can ask for it spicy or just have to add packets of sauces yourself. I would prefer the first choice. Uncle Roger would have some naughty words to say about the lack of seasoning.“

“I love Ming’s! We go here any and every time we want Chinese food. It’s priced right and taste like authenticity. Funky hours of operation but this is our go-to for fried rice, lo mein, and sweet & sour chicken. Love the guys working in the back! Every time I walk in they greet me even when their phones are ringing off the hook for DoorDash.“

“Peter changs is the most authentic Chinese restaurant that I know of. a close second would be Full Kee on horsepin off of broad. but P.Cheng's is a combo of traditional grandma like made hot pots with a twist of today to some beautifully created food art type appatisers. the scallion bubble packed is a delightfully fun munch. we ordered peking duck for take-out tonight. my husband will drive across town to get it as we are in Midlothian. the online order menue is not working. the price listed is 35.00. However the menue will not allow me to even register or order. I called we were told the price of the dish is 65.00$$$! we have pking duck 1/yr on NYE and it's my favorite Chinese Dish . so we bit the bullet and ordered. when we asked about the price difference we were told something that y'all should know.... we were told ...oh. we rais our prices around Christmas! Well thanx PETER CHANG. This better be the Best pking duck I could even imagine. This is what you think of your customers SMH.. I'm not sure that I will continue dinning with you in the future. what a shame. such good food and during the Christmas season most places offer something special to show appreciation to their patrons. But your establishments behavior reminds me od a certain Character in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. lol interesting that the Walt Disney version of this story Scrooge I'd played by a Duck... 😆😅🤣😂 I'll report back after my husband returns with this golden dinner.“

“We were staying at LA Quinta (5 mins away) and stopped in for takeout. Reminded me of a mom and pop deli converted into Chinese restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. Bourbon chicken and broccoli could feed 3 people. Lo mein, fried rice, wonton soup was amazing. I will be getting a to-go box every time I drive north on i95. 6 minutes off the highway. Much Love from South Florida!“

“I always come here. I know my food is going to be right, not take too long and delicious! I always get Chicken W/mixed veg and General TSO's. Occasionally I'll do the chicken wings (crispy-- they get me right every time) 10-15 min tops for takeout and short time for delivery as well. The service is always pleasant and welcoming. If it's something I need or want for my order, they always accommodate. Will always continue to go here. Thank you“

“usually always yummy and spot on never had any issues but i am a bit disappointed today as my Crab Rangoons were overcooked and had BURNT areas and some were shaped oddly and also small which i never experienced, disappointed that they would serve those as i’ve spent money and expected the usual i’ve always been served. still good overall. wish i would have taken photos. usually 5 star but minus 1 for today :(“

“I haven't been here sinc the early 2000s when I moved further away. It's just as good as I remember. Pork egg fu Yung was tasty with lots of pork. Shrimp with lobster sauce has a light delicate sauce. Egg roll was tasty. And the food wasn't greasy or too salty. I'll be back sooner.“

“Got takeout from here last night. Everything was very good - shrimp rolls appeared to be made in-house, Hot & Sour soup had nice flavor & lots of ingredients. We got the Hunan Chicken - tasty! - had a different type of spice than typical Chinese. Also, the Beef with Garlic Sauce, which leaned to sweet rather than spicy despite the little red pepper next to it on the menu. Both had ample & tender meat with a colorful mix of vegetables. All cooked well with lots of sauce - if too much for you, recommend dishing with a slotted spoon. Also, nice crunchies with for the soup!“

“Today I came for the third time to this restaurant, I like to order sweet and sour because the sauce is perfect, today I ordered sweet and sour pork and it was delicious.
The girl who helped me was very friendly and the waiting time was exactly what she indicated. As for the atmosphere, I think they should fix it up a little so that it doesn't look like a restaurant that is about to close, but the food is excellent, my order today was very well seasoned and not at all tasteless like others places.
Parking: Big parking lot
Kid-friendliness: No, only pick up.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes!“

“We drive a far distance to come to this restaurant. Their food is always great. They don’t treat you like They want you to get out the store. They treat you very nice and kind and their eggrolls are made fresh. They are so good. I absolutely love them. You can tell that there’s no additives in the food like synthetic. It’s so good.“

“August 8th 2025 That the the happiest Happy family dish I have ever had!!!! I ran in just before closing time. The plastic to go container was jammed packed full of meats and seafood. It was not bogged down with veggies either. It was wonderful, flavorful and I was very impressed 😁😁😁. Their egg drop soup actually had a yummy chicken flavor that is very hard to come by these days. Thank you China taste in Varina Va you blew that 1 out of the park!!!“

“I've been eating here for years and years. Best chicken wings of anywhere. Friendly people, good food, close to home! I couldn't ask for more!
Well, things change including (I think) ownership and/or cooks. I hadn’t been in for several years, so I went in for some comfort food. One of items I got, the egg drop soup, tasted of sesame oil so strongly it was actually unpleasant. I was so disappointed.“

“Literally the best Chinese I’ve had in so long. It’s reliably good unlike most takeout spots and everyone is super friendly. My food was ready SO quickly even on a Saturday dinner time, and was absolutely delicious. I really couldn’t have had a better experience.
I’m so glad I decided to try Panda again after they came to the children’s hospital with free food for staff and it made my whole month. Brook road campus never really gets thought of so it was super special and we were all so happy.“

“The chicken lo mein with extra vegetables is a 10 out of 10. Absolutely delicious with soy sauce and whatever broth they use. Don't get this meal without adding extra vegetables it won't taste the same. It's a 6 out of 10 without it.“

“Excellent I’m a known chef visiting VCU in Richmond, Virginia and saw there were great Chinese places. Since 1981 I’ve loved however not found many legit shredded pork in garlic sauce dishes. They nailed it, this classic Sichuan dish . When she placed on the table I had flash backs to Houston Texas the last time I actually ordered the dish as every place did it no justice. If you’ve never tried its spicy, salty, little acidic. Steamed rice has to be and was perfect. I started with a great hot and sour soup and then the green onion pancake. The pancake golden brown, crispy, cooked perfect. The soup a great blend had me sweating. Only negative is I’m from Georgia.“
