“Some probably have already been here, but this was my first time eating here on the restaurant side. If you haven’t already, be sure to swing by and give them a try! That salad was HUGE but all those veggies were probably the freshest I’ve ever gotten anywhere! And those season fries/chips were made to order, so hot and fresh, and cooked right! The server was working both the restaurant side and the bar side. There were like 2 birthday parties happening over there. But she managed to work both sides, not feeling overwhelmed (or at least she didn’t let it show) and was always friendly and was smiling. What a great personality! If you’re looking for some place different, y’all swing by Don Ho's Restaurant & Lounge and give them a try!“

“We came through Roanoke and ate at Hollywood Restaurant & Bakery. Food and service were fabulous but I want to rave about their customer service after we left. I called a few days later because I had left a jacket on the back of my chair. I asked if I could pay to have it shipped to me. They offered to ship it for free. It arrived at my home in Chesapeake, VA in great condition. Thank you so much. That is true customer service.“

“Horrible experience. The descriptions on the menu are inaccurate. I went and had lunch with my 86-year-old mother. We ordered salads. She ordered Cobb salad and I ordered the fried chicken salad, because the description says it's served on a bed of "mixed greens". I hate iceberg lettuce. When my salad came, I ate the fried chicken tenders, but complained, because the salad was nothing but iceberg and romaine lettuce. The young, so-called manager, named TJ, was very rude and unapologetic and told me that lettuce is mixed greens. He told me if I wasn't happy, I could go to cooperate, in which I did. I was truly embarrassed by how I was treated in front of my mom. Update: I spoke to the owner Bob, he was super apologetic and embarrassed at how his employee treated us. He said the menu has been the same way for 30 plus years. We discussed how lettuce and mixed greens are NOT the same thing, and is misleading on the menu. I know after speaking with him that he will do the right thing.“

Highly disappointed that when i called ahead of time to ask if they had a dessert table, was told No. We had a party of 10 for a birthday celebration, so I brought a cake. When it was time to have our cake, i was told it would be a $1.00 a plate charge to have a dessert plate. Extremely turned off about that. Ruined our birthday celebration. Idk? Is this a thing? Never ever have heard of a plate fee.“

“The food was very good. I had the Mahi Mahi and it was excellent. The service by our waiter was poor. He did not come back to check on us during dinner. We had to ask for bread. When it came time to pay the check, he did not return to the table. Since we had cash, we left the payment on the table and left. Appears he was spending more time talking to the wait staff then the customers. We were celebrating a birthday and advised the restaurant of this when we made our reservation. I don't know if a piece of cake is usually provided with the meal or not , but we did see another waitress bring a piece of cake to the table with a candle in it. We can only surmise that this is the general practice. Would not want this waiter again. Sorry but I don't recall his name. Probably because he wasn't around.“

The order was delivered in less than an hour piping hot. Yes, I did have a US credit card to do this, and I put in the address of where the order was to be sent, and not mine. Was worried there would be a hiccup in the fact that I was ordering from your menu from another country but it worked!! I commend Famous Anthony's Salem for their dedication during this time of COVID 19. Your food is always awesome (I know, we used to eat there often, before I moved).
