“We came here for happy hour and I could taste that they used a good tequila in the margarita it was so good. I was going to get the firecracker shrimp but they had some Reuben sandwiches left from Saint Patties Day so we both had them and we weren’t disappointed! It came on marbled bread and the corned beef was sweet and tender with no gristle. Shout out to Brendan and DeAndre for excellent service! It was my BFF’s birthday dinner and they sent over a yummy chocolate cake for her. Thank you. “Had a great Saturday brunch here. Managed to find a seat at the bar and had great service. Enjoyed a Blood Orange Mimosa and Breakfast Burrito, the Veg Out. The small restaurant was busy but our table was ready on time, it just took quite a while to get drinks and food ordered and then service after we got our food. Otherwise everything was absolutely flavorful and delicious. They really know what they’re doing! “First off.....this place is tiny so no parties over 4.....but there's also a nearby park if your group wants to order and eat there. I've done this on a nice day before. The variety of options here is outstanding. I've tried several sandwiches here and have never left unhappy. Most recently I had the Manny, the Teacher, the Scribe and chicken Salad. I would get them all again but the menu is so vast I'm always compelled to try something new. Most recently Kiki took care of us and was great suggesting something new. “Been a while since i visited 821 Cafe & today I decided to come in for lunch.I was immediately greeted and quickly placed my to go order. She made my drink right on the spot and the food was ready within minutes.I decided to get a Greek salad as I usually am here for the breakfast! “I got the country fried steak, collards, and spoonbread. I was really excited to see spoonbread on a menu and it definitely met my expectations. The meal basically tasted like my mom made it, and the price was crazy good-- like $16 for so much food I couldn't finish it. Also had a martini with garlic olives which were so delicious! “I had a great time at River City Roll! I was able to easily make a reservation online. When we arrived the staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the basket with our shoes and the whole check-in process was super easy. This was my first time playing Hyperbowl and it was super fun! What a cool twist on bowling. I was having so much fun and the staff was able to fit in an extra 30 minutes for us to finish out game. The food was served in a timely manner and it was very yummy. “This place is really cute. If you have ever been to the to the other side of the world, this place truly reminds you of it. Atleast it did for my husband and I. We ate pok pok wings, lemongrass soup, and pineapple stir fry. All were delicious! The drinks were awesome too. They had exotic mocktails and different cocktails than any other restaurant we had ever been to. The waitress was very sweet and everyone was pleasant there. It was also very affordable. “Wow! The Chef's Table dinner we had at Bar West exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere. We had a cozy spot by the fireplace to start out our night with drinks. Highly recommend the espresso martinis. They also have a nice wine selection. The rockfish and short rib ravioli were delicious and plated beautifully. The blackberry cheesecake was the perfect ending to our meal. This is not typical "bar food" at all. Great place for a special dinner or drinks after work. They are also open for lunch. We will be back !“

If you have an opportunity to try their specials, do so; they are available for a limited time but worth it. “Rowland is another nice example of a small Richmond corner restaurant located in an older, "classic" space. My group and I went there to celebrate my wife's birthday, and enjoyed it. Good cocktails and interesting appetizers. My rockfish was very good, as was my wife's strip steak, which was actually done rare, as she had ordered (not always the case). The only blip was that one person's salad never showed up until we mentioned it, and then it was not as ordered. Parking is the usual city challenge, and I believe there are no lots nearby, but we got lucky and grabbed a space just across the street.“

My friend and I dined there tonight and have only rave reviews. The atmosphere is 10/10: classy, cozy, and casual-chic. We tried the pork nachos (incredibly flavorful and original), Caesar salad, burger (possibly the BEST I’ve had in Richmond, which is also saying a lot), crabcakes, and tiramisu. Everything was so.freaking.good. Our server was friendly and service was prompt and accurate. We have friends who extol the virtues of their cocktails, but didn’t try one tonight. Wine selection is solid. No complaints and we’ll absolutely be back soon!“
“I love Topgolf. It’s fun every time we go. My latest experience was bit upsetting tho. We went on a busy Sunday night but we only waited about 15 minutes for a bay. Booked an hour, ordered waters and 2 drinks and ordered 1 kids cheeseburger. We had 25 minutes left, my kids burger was still not at our table. Ask the waiter whats up with the food, she apologizes, blames the busy kitchen and “checks” on the pos system for an update. Mhm, looked like to me she forgot to put the order in. Magically the manager appears out of NOWHERE, which makes me believe even more that she forgot to ring it in. They comped us 15 more minutes. My niece gets her burger when they added the extra 15. I know customer service. It sucks waiting long and I know it’s inevitable, however for what we ordered maybe not so much.We will be back for sure tho. They have plenty of food options.
